My friend has a droid razr that she switched from verizon to pageplus. Apparently, 3g and 4g mobile data dont work at all after the JB update.
Has anyone had this problem on pageplus?
She said that the guy at the store flashed her phone two times to try to get it working right, but no dice. I have experience flashing and rooting with my sprint e4gt, but would appreciate some wisdom for a razr noob. I would hate to be stuck with a phone without mobile data, especially since JB is so nice... Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a Brand New Droid Eris on Sprint right now. I only managed to get Talk and Text working, I have only managed to get Windows Mobile HTC devices from other carriers to work 100% on Sprint. Android is completely different as far as Data settings go, and need help from someone who is more knowledgeable with android and sprint settings.
Any help or advice is really appreciated.
Ok, so i'm new to this whole android thing and came up on a TB. Sorry for the noobness of this...i did a search, but couldn't find anything relating to my problem. hoping someone could give some advice.
I tried to activate it the other day and it took some time to activate(i guess Verizon's network was down), but the 4g LTE was fully functioning. Phone was recognized on my account at verizon and everything checked out.
however, when i tried to make a phone call, i got the message 'welcome to verizon wireless. your phone number is not active or invalid'. one thing i did notice was the roaming triangle above the signal bars. btw, i did try contacting verizon and they didn't know what was going on..they kept blaming the downed network.
i couldn't get it to work so i had to switch back to my whackberry.
Anyone know what the problem is and how to activate it? any advice would be awesome!

Hello all...so I have a moto photon from sprint that's been sitting in my drawer..I went and got a cheap Samsung tracfone and was wondering how much trouble is involved in flashing the photon to tracfone. I understand I would have to swap esn numbers with CDMA workshop..are there any other additional steps that are required to get the phone to work completely normal, text/mms, data (3g only) and of course calls. I'm not a noob when it comes to phones but Id rather ask then brick the phone just winging it. Greatly appreciate all the help in advance thanks guys

Don't know about tracfone but you can unlock gsm side and run on straight talk, get sim from website,I know that this works because I did it for my wife's phone, $45 unlimited everything,just make sure you read the tems of service so you don't loose your data.

Hey guys,
I have had this Droid RAZR for a while, It was a Verizon contract phone then after the contract was up I flashed it to Page Plus 3G. Well I went ahead and bought a S3 and no longer need the RAZR. I sold it to my girlfriends brother, he is on Verizon contract. I put the SIM in and it didn't change things like the SID, PRL Version, etc. I went through the phone turning on the 4G, using ##7764726, entered SPL, choose 14, sim type back to commercial, turned bbpanic off, the back to menu, choose 06, next, next, change network mode to LTE, CDMA, EVDO, AND GSM. The 4G data works, however when I attempt to make a phone call I get a message saying "welcome to verizon wireless, your mobile number is either not active or not working".
I hope someone can help me. I surely don't want to make my girlfriends family mad as many of you could surely understand. A happy woman=a happy life. Okay, thanks guys.
Can I use a RTN (Return to Network) ## code to make this happen? I've tried the one for my Galaxy s3 but it doesn't work on the RAZR.
Just use Rsd lite to flash it back to stock thats it.

A few months ago pageplus did something to their data server settings and my Viper32 flashed phone didn't like it. I've been without data since then and Viper32 hasn't been getting back to me with any solution.
Is there anyone out there that can help me get my data working again?
