So,here's the deal- I flashed the latest stock JB Rom by snow, flashed the radio, got bored of it and then flashed shellnuts latest cm10,made a call, got the fuzzy screen, tried to reboot into cwm, got a blank screen with the screen still lit up,lgnpst back to stock, rooted, freegee and it doesn't boot passed the LG boot splash. Please advise.
Sorry, it does boot normally after I lgnpst. Its only after I freegee- I can't get into cwm. I've done recovery many times and my button sequence is correct. All I get is a blank lit screen.

Hey guys did the superoneclick root and i flashed clockwork mod, went into recovery the signature failed...but weird thing the power button doesn't select anything in recovery then when i pull the batt, and turn it on it goes right back into recover...almost like a boot loop any ideas?
Use heimdall or odin, flash recovery with that, boot straight into recovery where you have your rom of choice waiting as well as non stock kernel. Easiest and fastest way to get up and running

Hey everyone,
So, I flashed my phone using the flash GUI app with a boot.img, and went on in the recovery and flashed a compatible rom. When I rebooted, it goes to the screen that says "***UNLOCKED***".
Thinking I must have flashed the rom incorrectly, I went into recovery twice and flashed a rom twice. It's actually quite weird, this has never happened to me before, usually it boots at least and gets stuck in a boot loop, but this is not the case.
Any ideas how to at least boot?
boot into fastboot and reflash the kernel using adb

Pull battery, then boot into bootloader by holding down volume down + power button. Select fastboot. Next connext phone to computer via usb cable. On the computer extract the kernel zip, open the folder, and open flash.bat. this will flash the kernel and fix your problem, IF if is a kernel problem...
Wat rom and what kernel did u try flashing?

I was trying to upgrade my Photon from jokersax's CM9 to his CM10 to check out JB, and I must have goofed up somewhere because my phone won't boot now. It just stays at the Moto splash screen where it says "unlocked" in the corner, and it stays there. I can however boot back into recovery. Apparently I'm using CWM v5.0.2.8. So what would XDA suggest for getting back to CM9/CM10? I basically just backed up my apps with TitaniumBackup, then booted into recovery, tried flashing the .zip file, and now here we are.

Not sure which recovery that is. Use Jokers recovery V3 http://j.mp/N2kilQ
or use the classic photon3 recovery. Then wipe data/cache/system and flash the ROM of your choice and it will boot.
You should always nandroid for times like this lol

I searched and couldn't find a situation like this. I have been running Cougar's CM7.2 for six months now with no problems (also have CWM 5.5.0.4). Today, while making a phone call, my phone froze. Here is what I have tried so far...
- Pulled the battery, rebooted, stuck at logo.
- Entered CWM, did a full wipe, tried a restore. The restore process did not complete for over an hour...no error messages. Pulled the battery, tried another restore. Same result.
- Tried to start from scatch. SBFed 198_7. Seemed to load correctly thru RSD Lite except the boot screen still displayed "Unlocked." Rebooted and stuck at logo
- Tried 154_4 - same results. Stuck at boot logo and says "Unlocked"
I have not received a single boot error nor any error with RSD Lite.
Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Doesn't seem like the SBF "took" on all attempts (with multiple factory resets prior to the SBF). Still show "unlocked" with CWM 5.5.0.4 recovery.
Flash the stock again and wait till finish then do factory reset
if the cwm still present that mean the abf file didnt flash at all flashb it again

Got an error when I tried to restore an AOKP (TheBill's Atrix port) ROM that had worked previously. Specifically, the message was "Error while restoring /system!"

The phone completely failed and would not even power on. Took it to the Sprint store and exchanged ($35) for one they had on hand (refurb). My guess is there was either a hardware issue or the system memory became corrupted. Thanks Mions for the help. It's gonna suck being on 2.3.5.
U are welcomed but i hate being locked after u taste what can do in unlocked phone but any way better than nothing

Hey all,
I recently got a Nexus 4 and gave my trusty Vibrant to a buddy of mine. However, in the time they had it, they really managed to mess it up(it was running the latest cm10 nightly and semaphore kernel when I handed it over). I got the phone back and have used Odin to flash it back to stock with the original pit and PDA file. Now, the phone simply flashes the I-9000 bootloader splash screen over and over(unless plugged into the PC, then it flashes the loading circle over and over). Any one have any ideas? Normally I would flash stock to resolve this, but flashing stock is the cause of my problem now.
EDIT: I should mention, I can still get to download mode, but not any kind of recovery.
I would just flash a semaphore .tar in Odin, boot directly to recovery afterwards and flash a ROM.

When returning to stock (JFD?) did you repartition it?
Ding!Ding! Repartitioning might be it. Also reflash GB BLers after flashing your first ROM to get rid of the GTi9000 boot splash
Hey guys, thanks for the responses. I've been away, but I've now tried your suggestions. I flashed the semaphore kernel via Odin, and while it no longer boot loops, it won't go into any kind of recovery manager and will simply sit on the Semaphore logo. I tried flashing a gingerbread bootloader via odin as well, but it didn't help.
As for returning to stock. yes I am indeed repartioning it, but it still doesn't boot. If I return to stock form the Semaphore kernel, it beings bootlooping again.
Don't check repartition and see if it boots.
After flashing semaphore did you try the button combo to recovery? If you flashed GB boots it is no longer vol up and vol down +power.
Recovery is power and vol down, DL mode is power vol up.

Yes, I tried it with button combo, I even tried all possible combinations in desperation when it didn't work. I can get it into download mode, but nothing else. I just tried flashing without repartioning, but it resulted in the same bootloop.
