Anyone know what needs to be done to disable the sound when the phone starts charging wirelessly? Thanks!

This is something really odd. When I use my phone in my car it works without issue. When I charge it with the car adapter and use the headphone jack I get this loud hum in my speakers. Has this happened with anyone else?
I'm wondering if their is a weird issue with the voltage.

So I had to use my phone for GPS today, as I was going quite a distance I decided to plug my phone in to the car charger, more specifically a accessory that let me plug the ac adapter in directly. Went to turn navigation off after I got there and it wouldn't respond until I unplugged it from the outlet. Any ideas?
Edit: more info. It seems to work fine when it's plugged in and the adapter is off but the second I turn it on my screen doesn't respond at all.
Input 13.8 V dc 8.0 A
Output 115V ac 60Hz 100 watts

If it isn't an 1 amp charger it will cause touchscreen issues

+1
I used to experience this ... it isn't unresponsive as much as it is SLOW.

Usually a ground issue. I had it happen with cheap carchargers alot.
My charging cable hasn't really been working well and I just noticed it only has four golden colored prongs inside of it. Can anyone confirm this isn't correct before I order a new one?
Edit yea its not the cable this thing is just barely charging.

Is it the OE cable? And charger? If its not that's your problem.

mine does the same thing from time to time. if its charging slow unplug it and plug back in, then make sure the red light is on. i have noticed sometimes when i get a email or text and the charging indicator goes off(red light), it seems to only be trickle charging per say.

I don't think I have ever used the charger & usb cable that came with my Note 2. I have never had any issues with it charging. In fact, I am currently using a Motorola wall unit with a no name cable upstairs, & a cheap wall unit from Walmart & the cable from an Acer tablet. Both charge fine.
I'm using OEM charger and cable I installed an app called galaxy charging current and its showing a ridiculous fluctuation. I'm thinking it may be a faulty charger. It charges much faster on my car charger.

I just got rid of my s-view cover an now when my wireless charger is done my screen come on then goes to sleep then come back on when the battery drops a little then charges for a few seconds then turns off. All this time my screen turns on and off, witch is very annoying in the middle of the night. Is there a way to force the screen to stay off?

There's options in wanam, gravity box, etc. to let you keep the screen off when plugging or unplugging the charger as well as disabling the battery full notification that turns the screen on. One of those options might work for wireless charging too.

I'm missing my dock from my Nexus 7. Has anyone seen a teardown showing the room/battery access on the Shield tablet? I'm thinking of getting one of those kits and adding wireless charging if there is room.

Whats the rate of charge on those kits? Would it be able to match the wired rate so the battery level slowly rises as you do very taxing things, like play Half-life 2?

No, It wouldn't match using a wire. At best you'll probably get half of the current as you could with the wired charger.
I think most kits are around 1amp, so less than the Shield charger, but great for charging overnight. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JQ4YWLY/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_0tp-tb1YZJSE4

It showed 650mA in the image which is what most of them I've seen were.
I'm sure it depends on your charger too.
