Hello,
this is the second equipment i get, a galaxy tab2 10.1, and for the second time, everything it´s so slowwwww.
Everywhere i went on the tablet, there is a lag.
Even when i´m listining music and doing something else, sometimes, there is a lag in the song!
i´m completley updated here in Portugal with the 4.0.4.
Anyone knows what can i do to make this sh*** stop being so slow?

I'm fairly new to the smartphones world so my question may be quite lame.
I recently got myself a barely used X7500. The guy I got it from installed some useful software on it and apparently flashed it with new ROM (MichyPrima).
Everything works fine, but very slowly. Rendering images is very slow and music is choppy (except for when I use CorePlayer). Whenever a multimedia application is running everything else is twice as slow and when I close CorePlayer music continues to play for another 20-ish seconds before completely turning off.
What could be the cause and how do I fix it?

kindly check how much ram you are consuming. Check also how many software you installed. Sometimes we are too eager to install software that we like only to find out later on that we don't really use them. Normally, I only install what I really need and I just install as needed. Do a hard reset if you are still experiencing a slow down in speed. I'm using the same unit and ROM. Speed doesn't change.
Hey, I have tried searching the forums but did not exactly come across the answer I was looking for. So, I am on my Samsung Galaxy SII and I just rooted my phone recently. I was having the problem of wifi sharing sucking up my battery, so I rooted my phone but at the same time I decided to try freezing up a few apps that I did not need to free up more ram and get more battery life. So, I followed the "safe to remove app" thread and I removed apps that were said to be safe from the spreadsheet, but could someone please tell me what is needed to run Youtube and the IM applications? For Youtube, everything works fine, until I get to the video part. I click on the video, and it never loads, the circle keeps spinning. I would think I disabled something important for loading the videos there as I can still load Youtube videos when I go to the website. Also, with IM I almost have the same problem. When I click on the application, the entire screen is black, with just the loading circle in the middle, but nothing ever happens. These two things seem to be the only problems I encountered so far. I only froze apps that were said to be for sure safe to remove. Nothing under caution or no. I hope someone could help me with this problem! Thank you guys so much for all your help! I do not know much about my phone as I just rooted it.
Not sure about IM app, i suggest try imo messenger.
For Youtube, did you remove video app?

Although im not 100% sure, I would bet that it's the cause of the video playback problem.
I think better to re-run all the frozen apps so that you will know that those frozen apps caused the issue. If not, then you have a corrupted system.
Alright, thanks for your help guys! I guess in the back of my head, I already knew I had to go back and test out each and every quarantined app again. I was just hoping someone knew exactly what was needed for those applications. Thanks though!
Hi guys, bit of a strange request but I wonder if someone can upload screenshots for their applications folder. For some reason my phone booted into safe mode and all my applications got jumbled up. I've got screens for the order of my own apps but not the stock apps.
I'm on three uk h3g 4.0.3. I'm quite odd so this bothers me. would appreciate it greatly, thanks

I recently bought my SGS2 i9100, very happy with it. However i noticed some problem.. I have observed many times that if i leave an application running in the background for quite some time, it quits automatically. It happened with torrent program..
Also my net is slow..and one of the games was downloading some data files through wifi..i left it for downloading and it also quit after sometime automatically.. tried it 2-3 times but the same result
Can anyone tell me whats wrong? Is it some phone setitings or something?or something really wrong?

Could be how the phone handles multiple apps, did you fiddle with the settings in developers option?
Try setting more apps to see whether it makes a difference

Hmm no i didnt touch the developer settings at all...and a testing a bit more to find out more... Also, it generally happens when i multitask and quit another application..
Anyway will test a bit more and post..
But if anyone has experienced any such problem, do let me know

It has been a while since I bought my archos 70IT and since the beginning, it kept freezing a lot, I had to kill all the apps every 2 minutes...
So I didn't really use it but now I want to use it again. I have installed Urukdroid because I thought maybe I could solve this problem by lowing the memory level where the device kills the apps... But know, the problem appears even more often than before... I don't know what to do... Sometimes it freezes when I use the menu, or when I'm on Google Play or when I use some apps, I don't think there is a specific trigger, only the memory. It is the 250MB hard drive model.
The screens stops and I can't do anything but reset the device.
Can anyone help me?

Please do yourself a favor and read the UrukDroid threads.
It is clearly stated that UD isn't really suited for the hd versions of the tablet, as it is installed on the HD, not the internal sd, wich means everytime the hd powers down the os is stalled, or the hd can't power down.
The only thing you can try is the orginal fw.
Wich Apps did you install?
I installed the market with arctools but the device froze even before it.
I also remember the device freezing when I transefered some media with the USB connection, before I installed UD.
If I shouldn't use UD, what is the best way to be root then? I mean, on a HD device.

Thanks but I think I will stay not rooted and without installing google play and google apps. It's not as good as it could but it seems to work better...
By the way, does anyone know a good calendar app available on appslib? To import calendars by url.
PS: Yeah, the Toulouse traffic is really bad! That's the main drawback of this city I think...
