Do you mean to say you lost your network when you unlocked the bootloader?
That means your simlock-certificate wasn't compatible with the unlock-procedure, which you get warned against if you read it all properly.
Use SUS (SEUS) to repair your phone., and then use S1Tool (NOT flashtool) to restore your bootloader, by pressing the RESTORE-button.
Step 1: leave your phone disconnected from the computer
Step 2: choose 'update' in SEUS, it will say 'no updates available'
Step 3: choose the 'repair' link, it will let you select your phone-model and download the firmware
Step 4: when it asks for flashmode, connect your usb-cable to the phone and your computer, and then press home- and power-buttons at the same time.
Step 5: Start S1Tool and press Restore button, follow the instructions
Hope your signal will come back, there is no guarantee.

It kind of depends on how your phone was sim-unlocked i suppose, and it's not that unlocking restores your simlock, it just disables the radio-capabilities, no matter which sim you put in.
If you tried the manual bootloader-unlock method, there are a few options you can use, maybe the other one may give you success.
Just boot up your phone after the unlocking process and check the network before you do anything else, like flashing kernels and stuff.
And entering flashmode had never been a problem for me, not on JB and not on stock. It's usually a case of just turning your phone off and only putting it in flashmode (ie, press the backbutton and plug in the cable) when the program (Flashtool or SEUS or PC Companion) asks for it.
If you try to put it in flashmode before the program is ready it will boot up.

my s1tool log when unlocking bl yesterday.

i have still the same problem. if i put the battery out and wait 10 secs put it back in the cell boots right away. even when i press the home and power button while i am quickly putting the usb cable in. i hardly can't connect my cell to pc in flashmode. when i am pressing the back button like sony updater tells me the same thing happens. as long as i press a key nothing happens doesn't matter how long i press it.
when i release it, the phone boots normally jb.
ok, i booted up cm while having phone plugged in. removed battery and put it right back in. right in this moment the led turned green and i hopefully gained into flashmode!
so i gained network back thanks for your help!

i performed all the steps again to unlock my bootloader and had success. i recognized that i run the wrong msm7227_semc.cmd .
thread can be closed. and again thanks for your help! :victory:

[Q] X10MiniPro: no life sign with Cm7.1.0 FXP028, but other kernels flashing OK

I have a X10minipro (U20a) with the M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015 baseband, latest (2.1.1.A.0.6) firmware - just updated/repaired using PC Companion.
I just tried to flash Cm7.1.0 RC1 FXP028's kernel in this phone (first step of the install guide, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1212949), but it won't boot. It doesn't even display any logo at all (no FXP logo, nor Sony Ericsson logo). After pressing the power button, I can feel the usual little vibration it makes when powering up. After that, the phone gives no other life sign - the screen just keeps black forever.
I'm not sure, but when the usb cable is connected, it appears that the phone enters into some sort of loop in and out of flash mode. The green LED blinks shortly and I can see the usb device being detected as the flash mode device (eg. on lsusb) for a short period of time. And I haven't pressed the back button at all.
Of course, flashing back the stock kernel unbricks the phone.
The bootloader was unlocked using msm7227_semc. Just to be sure it was unlocked correctly, I flashed D4Kernel v1.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254202), and it worked like a charm. So the bootloader appears to be working well.
Does anybody have an idea of what is going on? Maybe I was expected to flash another version of the baseband?
If you got FXP kernel to work in your phone, please tell me if you can see any difference between your phone and mine (versions, etc.)
I found it strange that U20_CUSTOM.ftf, when opened using flashtool, shows "E10" in the column "Device". But perhaps this is just a typo.

The kernel that comes with CM 7.1 is broken, you need to use a older version of FXP, there's one in the mini pro dev and flash the just the kernel but I can't find the kernel any were for the mini pro, the mirrors come up as X8. I've been told that it still has bugs.

As danlivesey said, the custom kernel from FXP is broken. When I posted this, nobody had complained yet (people complained only when they released FXP030), so I thought I was doing something wrong.
To reflash the stock kernel, download "X10 mini pro (U20) stock kernel" from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225
Then use flashtool to flash the ftf file. You should be able to put your phone in flash mode. If your are not able, probably it is stuck frozen trying to boot, then just remove the battery and insert it again and follow the procedure again (keeping the back button pressed and inserting the USB cable).

Is there anyway to install cwm recovery without unlock bootloader?

Im using xperia mini pro,if i want to use cwm do i must unlock my boot loader first?
Can i use cwm if i just root my phone? I've use search button but no luck
Xcuse my bad english
Regards
Root just gives you higher privileges in "running" state. To install CWM you need write access to boot partition, which comes only with unlocked bootloader.
So you'd need to unlock your bootloader to install CWM. Fortunatley, there is Official way of unlocking it and now its even possible to Relock it later. Check this forum for guides.

I want to know how I can be sure that my bootloader is unlocked?
If my bootloader is unlocked why didn't SE tweak work?
U can check in service menu.. Service menu>service info>configuration> boatloader status

It seems that you didn't do some steps correctly.
You need to find exactly where your TP is.
Exactly the same result with a Movistar Spain Neo V. Stuck on SE screen after flash, and cannot access to the fastboot mode by presing menu key.

My Bootloader Unlocked?
Hi There,
Im new to this and i didn't want to open a new thread unnecessarily so i'll post my question here because its similiar.
I have a Xperia Neo i think its branded to TMN, and i wanted to Unlock the bootloader, i did the *#*#7378423#*#* --> Server Info --> Configuration and i didn't had the frase Rooting Status. I Searched the threads trying to figure how could i Unlock it, didn´t find away... I'm a bit stuborn and tried the Testpoint test, and i don't know if it worked here is what i got:

If it worked i can't fastboot... If it didn't then i dont know what to do, is it possible for a branded phone, that doesnt say nothing about Rooting status, to get Unlocked?
Tks in advance!
For me,i unlocked my bootloader at 1st attempt at http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/ because i think its the easy one...
I think entering fastboot mode and try
Code:
fastboot boot recoveryNeo.img
will be a good idea.
If it isn't bootloader unlocked it won't let you boot.
Otherwise it is unlocked.

Found it.
It shows
Bootloader unlock alowed:yes
So does this mean it is still locked?

Unfortunate this doesn't work for me because theres a phrase that's states
In your phone, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.

And my status is missing so i guess i cant unlock it?

My bad for asking questions, now I see yout post#9 above, strange didn't notice it earlier.
Anw,
1) you have old fw version, thats why you don't see that line. update your fw with flashtool to .42 or .62.
2) you have sim-locked phone, thats why your fastboot is locked. you need to pay to sim-unlock your phone and by that you will enable your fastboot. find user with nick jinx13 or anyone else with setool, or use some of online services, but my advise is to use setool.

I can finnaly see the phrase Rooting status: Bootloader unlock allowed: No
So that is done tomorrow gona track down jinx13 or someone that has setool to unlock my SIM card.

i defenitely did with the help of xda
try this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254087
still check this link
http://droid-maniac-milan.blogspot.in/2012/04/how-to-unlock-bootloader-in-xperia.html
the below is copied from the link i gave you.
FOR XPERIA X10/ X8/ PRO/ X10 MINI ONLY
Before unlocking bootloader you should check whether it is safe to unlock or not.
For that:
1. download s1tool >>you can download it HERE<<
2. Run the downloaded program and click "identify" button on top right corner.(Don't connect your device)
3. Now switch off your device and connect to PC pressing and holding back button in your device.
4. If it says "SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE", then you can proceed further for unlocking bootloader.
#NOTE: Proceed only if your device passes the above requirement.
Steps to unlock bootloader in your device
1. Download flash-tool V0.6.8.0 >>you can get it HERE<< and run
turn on your USB debugging on device [setting>applications>development>usb debuging]
2. Connect you device and wait until it recognizes your device
3. Then click "plugin > bootloader unlock> run"
4. Then you will get a message in which says "to switch off your device and connect to PC pressing and holding back button in your device" and do it.
5. The unlocking process will begin. Wait until Flashtool ask you to disconnect the cable off
the phone, then turn on the device and connect the usb cable once again
6. Then flash tool says ”Successfully applied unlock Rebooting”
7. Then your bootloader is unlocked
Now to check whether bootloader is unlocked or not
2. Run s1tool and click "identify" button on top right corner.(Don't connect your device)
3. Now switch off your device and connect to PC pressing and holding back button in your device.
4. Then under "PLEASE ATTACH TURNED OFF PHONE NOW" this line
we can see: RUNNING S1_EROM VER "r8A033" , in which "r" should be in small letter now
5. This says you have unlocked bootloader
i installed custom rom xperia S. unlocked bootloader and works fine for me..no other issues...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1516960
but now i am stuck in a new trouble...i re locked the bootloader..i dont knw why on earth i did that..waiting for the help of experts here)

[Q] flashing custom kernel problem

hello guys
here is my issue....
I wanted to install gb or ics or jb on my x10mini (e10i)
my baseband is : M76XX-TSNCjoLYM-53404015
firmware : 2.1-update1
android v : 2.1.1.A.0.6.
i successfully rooted my phone and unlocked the bootloader using flashtools 0.9.8.0.
but my problem is when ever i try to flash custom kernel i get this error
Code:
ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="MEMORY_CLASS";ERR_STATIC="HASH_VER";ERR_DYNAMIC="Failed to init erase";
i tried all custom kernel including nAa-13, nAa-14, nAa-ics,nAa-jb. everything fails and i get my phone semi bricked with phone reboots and all i get is white screen and LED glows White.
then i use SEUS to flash back to stock rom. i did this for almost 20times so far everytime it fails....
any help?

unlock bootloader
I didn't know you can unlock the bootloader with flashtool. I used another tool (attachment)
Just connect your phone with debugging mode turned on and open "msm7227_semc" from the zip and follow the instructions.
This worked perfectly for me. After finished, just reboot the phone, then its unlocked. Then you can install a custom kernel with flashtool.
pls tell me if it has worked

There are actually three different methods to unlock the bootloader, which one to use depends on the status of your phone. Flashtool does actually do a decent job in deciding which method (including the one you mention here) to use. It's in the plugins menu.
I would like to ask alienwrz to post a slightly more extensive part of the flashtool output, and maybe the output of the identify-button in S1Tool.

Where did you get the kernels from (the actual links may be useful) and what sizes are they?
(You did unlock the bootloader, so it's not directly a problem with flashing per se, because unlocking involves flashing a new loader to the phone, maybe your anti-virus could be interfering with flashing the actual kernels)
