hello there,
i have an archos 101 g9 turbo with the latest firmware 4.0.28
i tried installing the rooted firmware, i managed to get the sde menu installed but the problem is, when i try to upgrade it, putting the archos.ext4.update in the root media storage installing the zimage and the initramfs.cpio.lzo (the initramfs.cpio.gz is not recognised), after i restart the tablet, nothing happens after the restart and i get back to the normal 4.0.28 firmware.
i tried booting into the developer menu after installing the upgrade, that goes into a restarting loop and will not start untill i restart the device and again, i get the new firmware still there.
any help is apreciated
i 2 have the same issue

Can anyone help me with my T10.
I flashed the firmware Hyundai_T10_20130402 (which I have downloaded from various sites/blogs) but
although the flashing completes succesfully,
after the automatic reboot the tablet never turn on.
There is no way to boot the device.
The only thing possible is to enter again into Update Mode and try to reflash
but the result is the same.
If anyone has used before another firmware than the 20130402, please inform me.

Hi,
I already tried the reset pin, doesn't help unfortunately. The tablet still charge, but when disconnected from power it stays warm like the processor is still doing something. Of course nothing on the screen, no sign of life.
I have a question: how did you update exactely your T10? Especially what kind of message did you get while updating? and what happens when the update is finished?
thanks for the help anyway.

Hi all,
I solved the issue by
- waiting for a complete battery drain.
- putting the FW on a brand new 2GB microSD (no formatting).
- plugging the power on the tablet. Wait for 10-15mn.
- then starting the update sequence (pressing "Volume -" and "power" for few seconds.
suddenly the update message started, and the FW was flashed correctly! I'm using the tablet again and happy with it (except the GPS, doesn't work!)
I hope this might help somebody out there.
Good luck

hello
so last time i wanted to install that "touch fix" for my Chuwi vi8, after a reboot my tablet wasn't able to boot anymore, it just won't stop to reboot, i can still boot to Windows with lock+up volume + home button, i can also go in the stock recovery mode, yes i already tried factory reset and it didn't worked, how can i fix it ?
i can also get clockwork mode but i just have error closed... i installed all the drivers i was able to found but no one fixed the "error closed" when using sideload, also i don't know WHERE IS THE STOCK ROM...
I have this www needrom com download chuwi-vi8-dual-os
"file is too big" so i format in NTFS but then the tablet won't recognize it, and seems like it's the WINDOWS ROM i don't need the WINDOWS ROM I JUST NEED THE STOCK ANDROID ROM
i've been trying to fix this since MONTHS, tried yesterday, it took my whole day today and yesterday STILL NOTHING.
IF someone can REALLY HELP ME, do i'll have to PAY SOMEONE to fix my tablet ??? Like really, i already posted this in december no one answered me...
