This is an issue which happens after the phone is on for a while.
When I first boot it and call it from another phone, it rings. But after a few hours (not exactly sure how many), it doesn't ring when it is called. The caller hears it ring once and then the call ends.
Do you think it's an issue with the ROM (CM7) or a hardware issue (I've dropped it a few times).

I've only recently got my sdaII and all was fine with it to start with but its developing a very annoying problem. When someone calls the phone rings fine but when i answer the call the volume drops to virtually nil and its very difficult to hear the caller. If i call someone its fine for a bit then again drops the call volume (the volume adjuster shows that it should be up about 3/4 of max).If i use my bluetooth headset everything works fine. I've hard reset the phone but its not cured the problem. Has anyone experienced this or got any ideas on how to cure the problem? Is the speaker on its last legs?
my hero has recently developed a fault where when making or receiving a call, i cant hear the other person, but i can hear myself.
if i ring someone, itll happen as i ring them ie. i dont hear the ringing tone.
if someone rings me, ill answer the call and when i say hello, i hear an echo of myself.
it doesnt happen all the time, maybe 1 time out of 5 calls, but i was wondering if anyone else had come across this.

I searched the forums and google for this issue with no avail. I am pretty sure this is a issue of Cyanogenmod (I think I read that somewhere) but I still would like to know if there is a fix I can apply.
I am on Inferior Human Organs Purity X (On Optimus V). When I am on an internet call (only internet calls; regular calls work but I don't use those) and press the speakerphone button, it turns on for a split second on the speaker then re-routes through the ear piece. The icon stays on the notification bar but the call does not stay in speaker mode for more than a split second. Is there any remedy for this issue?
When on the phone people cannot hear me. If it's outgoing or incoming they cannot hear me unless i put it on speaker, then they can hear me just normal. I have tried different ROMs. Tried resetting my phone. Tried changing some volume settings from my computer to my phone (can't recall what it i called).
anyone have any ideas??

I've had this problem on and off for a long time with this phone. I've not been able to determine if it's the phone or the various custom ROMs that I've tried. Currently I'm on CM10.1 which seems good, although I had an issue with cell reception last week that caused a person not to be able to hear me.

Same is on my HTX Evo 4g they cant hear on regular but on speaker it is fine. Mic works fine of course so videos and voice recorder are fine

I was wondering if you can help me with a problem I have with my S3.
When I am in a video call (without earphones - speakers working) the first five to ten minutes are fine. I can hear the other contact well without problems. But in the period from 5th minute to 10th sound (from speakers) its like I have slowed down the volume one click before the full volume down. But the volume bar is full. When earphones are connected are working full without problem. This problem is on tango and skype as well.
(my m/b was changed due to the familiar freeze problem)

I was wrong. It does the same thing in regular call as well when I have the speakers on. The solution is the same?
