Hello. I recently bought e Star MID1028.
(Display: 10.1", resolution 1280*800,CPU: Rockchip 3066 ,1.6Ghz , Dual-core CPU + Quad-core GPU, SDRAM: 1GB DDR3, Internal storage: 8GB, OS: Android 4.1,...)
I wanted cheap device - nor minimal needs, so it is not that bad for me. But there are some preinstalled apps, that cannot be updated or uninstalled (skype, few games). I tried to remove them via application manager, but after device restart, they still try to work, and I don't like it.
Is there a way to root this device, so I can remove those unwanted apps permanently, or even install a different rom?

Hi
I have not found another subforum best for this so sorry if it goes here
The mess, I recently purchased a mini dealextreme media center pc tv for android,
OS Android 4.0
Chipset BOXCHIP A10
Processor Frequency Cortex A8 1.2GHZ
RAM 1GB DDR III
Internal Memory 4GB
The issue is that the toy in question does not go bad just that the web browser is closed every few minutes when I open pages with Flash content
Keep a android 4.0.1 I tried with several browsers, dolphin, firefox ... all the same when I open a page with flash, hangs and then displays the application has stopped working and closes
I tried a couple of things:
Uninstall the Flash plugin installed by default leading (v11)
factory reset the pileup erasing all
Do not look any hardware problem, it's actually quite powerful and the websites should move smoothly
Let's see if anyone can give me any advice on what I can do, because if you do not return or

It's hard to me to actually find a whole lot of information so I'll just like you to the Tablet that I purchased. I know it is an AllwinnerA10 Boxchip processor speed runs at 1.2 GHZ. So basically when I first got it it was running fine, I attempted to flash an updated rom which ended up failing, so I decided to install a new recovery System. I do not recall the original recovery system, but what happened is I installed the wrong recovery system. I have an a10 and I accidentally installed a A13 Recovery System "version 6.0.2.8." instead of an A10 Recovery System. Basically the Recovery Mode is only partially functional due to it being programmed for an A10. It will not let me install/flash an android image and the screen flashes, it will also not allow me to mount files from my internal SD card, I believe that it will allow me to install from a external micro-sd. However, it needs to be charged at the moment so my memory is a little hazy on whether it allows me to. So lets assume that it doesn't allow me to do that for now. How would I go about fixing this problem, and unbricking my Tablet. Since I haven't made enough posts I am unable to send you a direct link. I can however give you some keywords so that it pops up when you are looking for it. It is from LightintheBox.com, it should be the 4th url on a google search.

I recently got a generic chinese tablet by the maker of idolian and the tablet model is mini studios (however I found many other generic tablets that are the exact same under different maker and name). Any way after rooting device via Kingroot (which I uninstalled afterwards) I have ran into a weird bug where my device is seen as an iOS device. A few different sites have told me couldn't download app because it's for android not iOS and I also received an email from google saying unknown install from iOS device. I cannot figure out why this is happening. I also have been having issues will google apps, they keep disabling themselves and 50% I open chrome the device freezes and restarts. Google services was not preinstalled I did have to install google apps myself. Can anybody give reason to why it's being seen as an iOS software and why google's apps are having issues? Here is also more info on the tablet:
CPU: RK3066 1.61 GHz
GPU Renderer: Mali-400 MP
Build ID: rk20sdk-eng 4.1.1 JRO03H eng.root.20130515.105717 test-keys
Java VM: Dalvik 1.6.0
OpenGL ES 2.0
Kernel: armv7I, vs. 3.0.8+
Like I said I rooted it via Kingroot, tried removing kingroot via Super-sume but was unsuccessful and just deleted all Kingroot files I could find. the only things I've really done that really affects the OS is I have the Xposed framework installed as well as CWM-based Recovery modified by androtab.info v6.0.3.1. Thank you to anyone who can help me out with this
My LK Mobile X5 Pro has 1 GB of ram but only use 94mb is in use even though I used and installed many apps.. And also my phone always perform autokill process when running in backgraound without me using any process killer.. How should I do to my android device to use all the available memory and disable killing process when in idle?
My android box K1 Plus DV-BT S2 has root access.
It came that way, and I only found out today when trying to install another broadcaster app. The app I am trying to use, detects the box is rooted, and will not install.
I have tried ota rootkeeper 4-3, but it will not give me the option to suspend, like I have seen in the videos on line.
It is a Amlogic S905 Quad core 64-bit Cortex A53 with Android 5.1
I see many posts referring to say add SuperSu and so forth, but unsure now which to try, or is it a case of simply trying to worm my way through the playstore etc looking for something suitable?
many thanks
