I have had awful call echo on 10 and 10.1 and I know this is related to address related problems and the volume rocker is likely controlling the mic gain but I'm not having much luck even with trying that so I'm just looking for a way to fix this issue. I've been looking for a resolution all over the place, searched the troubleshooting forum, development forums and Google but no one seems to have found a fix for this problem. I'm on T-Mobile USA and I'm currently using the 0403 Nightly of CM 10 at the moment. I had the same echo problems with the 0401 CM 10.1 ROM too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

flash cm 9 first,then do a dirty flash of cm10...well,that worked for me...see if this can resolve your issue

No its not working still its having problem ,Call echo is still please anyone fix it
Either try the above fix or wait until the team developing the rom implements a fix.
I haven't had any luck either after doing that. I understand that it is very new as well but I just can't use a ROM that has those kind of echo call effects. Especially for a daily driver. I'm running Revolution but I want to find something else.

What spec do your phone run on? I have the same issue. I currently submitted a bug report at the CM thread. Gotta post here if i find a solution.
My spec: Device model ONE E1003 Cyanogen Mod version MA-12.1-20160114 onyx MA version 10.0s STABLE Android version 5.1.1 Kernel version 3.4.0+ arvind Master Awesome#1 open_gapps-arm-5.1-nano-20160117
The problem is that, we are currently using outdated Roms, this is from the CM13.x thread changelog. I have an older version installed.

Fixed GPS(Takes some time to lock though)
Fixed the UI/UX jitter (A 7k bump in Antutu score,I get around 48k),phone feels really snappy now.
Fixed the speaker-mic issues.

On my Motorola Droid Maxx, I fixed the speakerphone - mic issue by flashing the latest modem/ radio available from Motorola for my device.
You might want to try this for your make/ model. I am pretty sure it will fix the issue.

I’ve running resurrection remix for the last few months and it is running almost flawlessly except for one thing: my cell phone can’t be seen or find other deviced. I think it is probably related to the weird BT MAC address issue. I’ve read some guide - some say it is needed to restore the efs partition, others have a very complicated method to restore it.. Anyway, what’s the definitive guide to fix this issue ?
It's fixed in Lineage OS so that's an option for you.

I didnt have problem with that before 10.3.4 so probably is some software bug or? What do you suggest (using phone on classic OTA updates without root / without unlocked bootloader)

Even I have this problem... This wasn't there in MiUi 10.2.3 earlier...
first this echo issue was only present on custom ROMs in combination with different firmware/vendor files.
But now it happens also on MIUI ROMs ... this is very annoying and should be fixed soon as phone calls are basic characteristic of an Smartphone.

I've installed many Ten roms(Havoc, Lineage Test and port, pixel experience, etc) but all of those are having mic problems. At the start everything just works fine but after a days, hours or weeks it starts failling, sometimes it doesn't work and when it works present a terrible recorded audio quality, I don't use any kind of audio mod. Please help me, im start thinking that I'm the only one who is happening for this cuz I'm been asking this on many roms's thread without answer nor solutions

Mic work fine on any other Android version(stock or custom), it fails just on Android 10 Roms.

My device is a Xiaomi redmi 5 (Rosy). I'm using Pixel Experience Q. and I can confirm you that Los 16 works fine
IS THIS FORUM "DEAD" or something?! I've been BANGING my head against a WALL for about a month now trying to fix an apparent "Sms over Sgs" function being disabled on my N910P running LineageOS, if I use anything but a stock OS I'm not able to "send" SMS unless I switch to 3G. Does anyone possibly have the following files kicking around? The links to them are dead everywhere I've looked. That or any other bright ideas? Do I need to flash the baseband again after installing Lineage or something?

Hya! So I am in the same boat... I am trying to do research... So far I have not been finding anyone with answers past the N7 Port. I cant even seem to be able to install the ROM cuz I am on Q15 Baseband. I udnerstand that you can't downgrade once we committed to the latest.
I also am having huge bluetooth crashes. Trying to keep attached with my FitBit and keeps dropping.
Lets see if we can find some answers together!

Unfortunately those links were dead the first time I tried them a few months ago... Thanks though. The only real shred of hope I seem to have left is an older post that someone apparently flashed the baseband files from the last OS that "worked" and they got things functioning on the newer OS. Now I just have to figure out how to flash the baseband separately from the OS?! I think I can do that with Heimdall?

I thought we couldnt go back from the QI5 firmware... or did I miss something?
This really seems like a super simple solution that shouldnt be this hard. It really must be a software problem. I am super aggrivated ... probably like you.... that such a great hardware platform is being rendered so inefficent. There are no new phones that have the ability and versitility of this platform and I am committed to keeping this hardware for years to come. I dont need it to do a lot... I just need it to do the few things I require of it! I am thinking of starting a new thread in the sprint forum to get some current and collective knowledge of the best setup available for the N910P
