Like the topic says, any suggest for a market app that provides full access to and android market worldwide. For example no paid and some free apps don't show up in the play store.. Any really good tried party market app?

The Market has its limitations for a reason (mostly legal reasons) and making an alternative market app that circumvents that is just as illegal as it's impossible (with Google having complete control over the "other end", ie. the Market itself, and who can connect to it and how).
That said, you should try using MarketAccess.
Thanks for the reply and I did have a feeling it was legal related but then again I can't understand how on my gf iPhone she can find and install for example Whatsapp, so can her brother on his blackberry but om my android I can't find it on the market. Isn't these restrictions suppose to be in forced on all platforms or is it just Google Android?

It has nothing to do with a specific platform. Simplified, it has to do with Google (not) being able to work out the complete terms of use in some countries.

I've seen some videos on youtube shown that iPhone users are able to use BBM on their handset. so is it possible to do the same for our androids?
I've looked for an app equvilant of bbm with no luck
Whatsapp and pingchat are 2 that bb users can use but its not free.

Tell your friends to install Google talk or some other cross platform messenger. I never used BBM on my bb storm, despite it supposedly being a big selling point of blackberries, as no one I particularly wanted to chat with had a blackberry and it really annoyed me that it sat there unable to be removed using a huge 5mb of the paltry 128mb of memory that was also required for the OS and apps. Grr. Sorry about the rant, had to get that off my chest ;-)
Anyway, cross-platform FTW!

I know that, currently i use cross platform apps, like gtalk, pingchat, whatsapp, with my friends
But today i saw couple of videos in YouTube that iPhone users can run bbm on their iPhone!

Hmm want. To do same think for bbc

KiK Messenger
its cross platform (iphone, bb, android), and FREE, need i say more?
why would you want to install BB on your phone when you already have cross platform apps? it's just too redundant and won't serve any purpose anymore imo
None of these have group chat yet, though whatsapp says its coming soon.
BBM is way better atm, but cross messenger apps are slowly catching up. Kik is my favorite right now, because if its speed.

No problem. I had to spread the word once the app started playing haunted house mood music because I wanted it to. :good:

I have been using Songza on my iPhone 4 in the US but now it's not available in Google Play in my region even though it's a free app. Can anyone share the apk or point me to a site that allows me to download it? Thanks.

Use google for searching the APK, just search for "songza apk", the first one to appear is the apk4 .us site, donwload it and try to use it. If it says that you are outside the US, assuming you are rooted, just download Orbot, a Tor's Client. I live in Argentina and like many others, can't use Songza or Pandora, but this little app do the trick. Search it on the Play Store.
Once you launch it for the first time it ask you for rooted permissions, then it ask you for the apps that will go trhough Orbot, click the "Select Apps.." button, wait for the list of apps installed on your phone and then check Songza, go back and when it shows you the Large button press for 2 seconds, it begins to connect to the Tor network, once it goes Green.....ALELLUYA!!!!!
Luanch again Songza and there you go listening for your favorites tunes!!!!
Remember to go through the Options in Orbot for uncheck the "Start with the system" option.
By the way, with that little bastard of Orbot, you can make any app "shows" you on the US, like I said before, I live in Argentina, and besides Songza and Pandora, I use Last.fm, Hulu, Rdio, and so on...
Good luck!
Hi,
I recently made a switch to CM9. I was using an App made for webOS called Zite. I like Zite and want to continue using it. I found app in Google Play. I am trying to install Zite from Google Play. But it shows message that "your device is not compatible with this version". I tried modifying build.prop but there was no impact. Is there a way to install Zite on CM9?
Thanks
Do you have any other android devices? You could try side loading from one of them...
Never mind, I uploaded it here for you since it's a free app. Just use your file explorer to install it!

Flipboard is really awesome. In app experience is just awesome. Smooth like butter on TP. U can't install it from play store though (like zite). Side load it using the procedure mentioned above by SGA

Here is an app to send apk's via Bluetooth or gmail. Make sure you have it set to share apk and not link.

On android zite does not support tablets. Have you tried to side load it? Try to Google zite.apk the only problem with this method is it won't do updates but you might get it to work until they come out with a tablet version.

If you can't get Zite working well for you you might want to look at the app called Google Currents. Even when I was using webos I wasn't a big fan of Zite . Currents works pretty well.
Sent from my cm_tenderloin using xda app-developers app
I have never used Zite but as others mentioned, Flipboard (side load required), Google Currents (loads fine from market) & Pulse (market loadable) are a few that work perfectly good on TP.
Thanks for responses. I have Flip board, Google currents, APPY Geek and Pulse in addition to Zite. I use all these apps. I almost exclusively use those . I recollect installing all these from play store with cm9 June version. No side loading. But now (with aug version) it won't let me. Even Flip board says app is not compatible, however I have it already installed. My major issue with Flip board is, it only works in portrait mode.
Zite on webOS is beautiful. I am a business user and am one of those who like webOS's simple user interface.

Hey guyz, i found an app similar to iphone app "itunes u"
You can download mp4 lectures.
iweb.dl.sourceforge.net/project/tunesviewer/Android/tunesviewer-1.2.apk
Its a gem if you understand what it exactly does.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda app-developers app
It's now also on FDroid repository, the repository of free Android software. The latest is 1.2.1 by the way.
TuneSpace App
Alternatively I can recommend the iTunes U App "TuneSpace" for Android which is available on Google Play

I see TuneSpace developers know what I need to know.
I am venturing into the same space by making an app for GoogleTV that stream iTunes U lectures. Once I master how to navigate to the proper streaming URL same way that TuneSpace does then the rest is easy.
app was "disappeared"?
Does anyone have any idea what happened to this app? I was looking for it to view podcasts for a course I am taking and it has been removed from Google playstore. I haven't been able to find any details of why or any alternate app to view the podcasts. Thanks if anyone has any knowledge that may help.
Looking for something like mxTube for iPhone.
Thought it would be for android too but didn't see anything on play store.
Data sucks half the time at work so thought might be a good idea to download the youtube stuff beforehand.
Any ideas??
Thanks.
Google search for tubemate. Is a third party app, so not available in play store
