Please can anybody help me?
My friend's phone got stuck in a bootloop the other day and the only way to recover it was to do a hard reset. The trouble being he has no idea what his Google account details are. He knows neither his email address or his password. He's never sent an email from his Gmail and never set up an emergency email account for recovery purposes. I've scoured the Internet for a solution but if all you have is your phone number, there doesn't seem to be any way to reinstate your account. His phone isn't rooted as he's not that kind of user. Can anybody help please?

Ok, so he's created a new Google account but obviously can't access all the apps he's paid for. Is there any way to transfer his old account to his new account? Thanks.

Sorry to keep bumping this thread but has nobody ever forgotten both their email address and password before? Any input would be welcome as people might find this thread in the future and find it helpful. Thanks.

Hi all,
A friend has somehow managed to setup up a lock screen password. He then attempted many times to unlock but not with the correct password.
The phone is now asking for gmail account username and password. Which he never kept a copy of. Is there any way to get around this so he can access his phone again. Or is seus the best option.

Regarding the lock issue, just reinstall with seus or whatever rom you want and that'll be fine.
Now about the gmail account, he will have to check on gmail site and try to recover password/request a new one.
Thi k he already tried to recover his password with no luck. And the trick of putting null in password box not working this time
Thanks for help

Well how can someone not be able to recover the password, cmon mate..if he can't remember his password or any details to recover the password then his account cannot be that old, so tell him to make a new account and problem solved. It also sounds weird that he also cannot remember the unlock code for the phone so I don't know...
Sorta sounds dodgy...

The guy had some how managed to lock his phone while in his pocket. His account was created when the x10 first hit the market and he never had any reason to recall the account details.
Anyway. All sorted was on 1.6 now got 2.3.3 stock.
Thanks

Basically the Exchange Administrator can enforce security policies on the device, e.g. you must have a password or pin set. Not everyone wants to play that way.
Sometimes you can persuade the Administrator to relax that policy, but if it is a work account, that may not be possible. If you can bypass, therefore, everyone is happy.
Hello I have a short favour to ask anyone who willing to spent few minutes

Hello guys. I'm currently using a stock rooted 4.2 Galaxy S4. I used to own a china made android phone before this and the same issue happened as well so I'm pretty sure it's not due to the ROM.
My emails from gmail suddenly stopped syncing after a couple of weeks after adding my Google account. This has happened 4 times already and after Googling the problem I couldn't find any solutions. Neither restarting my phone nor clearing the Gmail app data from Application Manager helped. In the account manager it says that everything but email was able to sync successfully (according to the update date). The only solution I have found so far is to completely remove my Google account from the phone and add it again.
I have 2 step verification on my Google account and at first I thought that was the issue; that my authentication token had expired, so I generated an application specific password and used it, however the problem still came back. Really hope someone can help me as it's really frustrating to have to remove and add my account every couple of weeks. Thank you.
Hope someone can help me out..

I don't see any attachment. Did you try a factory data reset?

Sorry yeah this is the attachment.
Have yet to try a factory reset...
Factory reset is what comes to mind for me. Just remember to back up your data first. Good luck
