Basically the Exchange Administrator can enforce security policies on the device, e.g. you must have a password or pin set. Not everyone wants to play that way.
Sometimes you can persuade the Administrator to relax that policy, but if it is a work account, that may not be possible. If you can bypass, therefore, everyone is happy.

I'm looking for the tablet specific E-mail app.
I would also love a stock email app with security bypassed for exchange.
Is this is the reason I can't send only some of my emails ?
If I try to Replay or to Forward emails - they "stuck" in Outgoing folder.
But if I compose a new massage or replay a massage without quoting the original text - the massage is being sent.
It drives me crazy!

No, that has nothing to do with exchange security. This thread is about trying to surpress the server policy which mandates a pincode to unlock the phone every time you resume it from sleep.

i haven't had much issue with this personally so i'm not 100% sure.
my best guess would be, perhaps you're able to manage your market account on their web site and remove the applications? http://market.android.com and login with the account linked on your device.
i know once you purchase an application, there never seems to be a remove option. although, if the application was free, removing it once, should keep it removed from your account.
i'm sure anybody with more experience will post up. hope that helps!
choose not to backup your apps with google when running the setup wizard
Ahh duuhh thanks guys

Has anyone been able to bypass the security requirement yet?

Why would you need to do that? Besides, all the settings are on the server side, so no app could bypass that.
Are you looking for an exchange app that will automatically log you in? I use Enhanced Email app and it automatically logs in, and delivers push email, and I can reply without any password.

On my old Skyrocket someone had set up a patch that would make your device look like it had a password to the exchange server but in fact you were able to disable the password on the device without any warnings.
If that's true then:
1. I want a copy of that patch to look at.
And
2. That's a mighty big security hole if true.

Hey there...!
I used Voice Memo App to store my personal daily correspondence for dictating it later on. I chosed numeric pincode to seal by saving the memos. Since a few days the assigned PinCode to the memos is not longer accepted and the app jumps back asking the pincode.
Any chance to get back the memos..?
Regards in advance Ede

The only thing coming to my head is reinstalling Voice Memo app, if not try use root explorer to get those files manually. Good luck and sorry for last post.

Please can anybody help me?
My friend's phone got stuck in a bootloop the other day and the only way to recover it was to do a hard reset. The trouble being he has no idea what his Google account details are. He knows neither his email address or his password. He's never sent an email from his Gmail and never set up an emergency email account for recovery purposes. I've scoured the Internet for a solution but if all you have is your phone number, there doesn't seem to be any way to reinstate your account. His phone isn't rooted as he's not that kind of user. Can anybody help please?

Ok, so he's created a new Google account but obviously can't access all the apps he's paid for. Is there any way to transfer his old account to his new account? Thanks.

Sorry to keep bumping this thread but has nobody ever forgotten both their email address and password before? Any input would be welcome as people might find this thread in the future and find it helpful. Thanks.
