x10mp not detecting BT earphone - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

I've bought this earphone
http://www.planex.co.jp/product/bluetooth/bt-minihs3/
This is google translate section on the BT compatibility is:
"Bluetooth Ver.3.0 next-generation standard, I realize the connection that stability correspond to the (Enhanced Data Rate) EDR, a high-speed capabilities of Bluetooth. The communication of up to 10m is possible by Class2 support. Because there is also compatible Bluetooth Ver.1.1/1.2/2.0/2.1, communication with existing equipment is also available."
So the earphone should support BT version 1.1 up to 3.
Now I turned on the earphone, enabled BT on the x10mp and pressed "scan for devices". but the mobile doesnt detect the earphone.
any suggestions?
TIA

bumping. anyone?

HowTo use BT Headset as Audio Device on Mobile PC (no PPC)

Hi!
Hi have bought the bluetooth headset Globalsat BT-808 (Mini Dolphin) and it is a great product! I use it with my Qtek 2020 to make and receive calls. I wanted to use it with my mobile computer as a headset audio device via BT. I paired the BTH-808 with my computer BT adapter (Microsoft XP SP2) as AUDIO DEVICE... but if I try to change the default audio device on my mobile computer (a Realtek AC'97 on the mainboard) and try to select another device, there isn't the BT headset... only realtek! How I can add the BT Audio Device from the BT paired devices among the PC Audio devices available???
Thank's
Cristian
First enable the audio gateway in the bluetooth application on your PC. After this it should be possible to choose the audio gateway as BT audio playback device.
You have to connect manually to hear the audio. The connection isn't made automatically.

http://www.palowireless.com/infotooth/tutorial/profiles.asp
here is a list of the bluetooth profiles to get sereo audio to a bluetooth headset you require A2DP 0.95b Advanced Audio Distribution Profile
not sure if thats the same with mono audio
but i do think it rather likely that ms's default driver dont support many profiles at all
i would look into bluetooth software like vidcomm maybe you can install that it's bound to have more profiles then ms
ms dident invent bluetooth so they dont put a lot of efford into supporting it

Parrot ck3000 carkit + bluetooth gps receiver

Has anyone succeeded in a combination of these two with the Blue Angel device ?
If so, is the audio from the gps software also routed to your car stereo ? What bluetooth protocol would support this ? The parrot carkit supports both the Bluetooth Headset and Handsfree profile.
I think in the end, this would be the best future proof solution : buy a standard pda mount for the Blue Angel and share the parrot carkit between all bluetooth devices present in the car.
Any comments would be welcome !

Ok,
I did a little bit of bluetooth research : in order to have MP3 playback using bluetooth, the device must support the bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution profile) profile. The A2DP profile was included in BT 1.2 spec.
I've read the thread on the HP MP3 headphones, and there they have a patch that will install the A2DP profile, though I'm not certain whether it is a HP specific implementation.
Some other interesting threads on this subject :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=12549
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=10747
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=7679
So I expect that sooner or later there is going to be a firmware upgrade or bluetooth stack upgrade from Broadcomm that includes this profile.
The next step would be the parrot : for what I know, it does not support the A2DP profile. I asked their sales department if they have any future products / firmware upgrades that will support this profile.
So once you enter your car, you would have to enable 3 (!) bluetooth connections :
Bluetooth headset profile -> mobile phone handsfree communication
Bluetooth A2DP profile -> regular audio coming from the device
Bluetooth Serial profile -> connection to gps
With all the bluetooth instabilities with the current protocol stack, I wonder if these three at the same time would ever be realistic. Does bluetooth support this kind of bandwith anyways ?
I have a Orange M2000 with the Parrott CK3300 (it has built in bluetooth GPS)- The bluetooth handsfree works fine as long as you update the handsfree kit to the latest firmware. Also you have to pair as a Windows CE device for it to connect whenever you get in the car.
The bluetooth GPS does work but I find I usually have to do a soft-reset and then launch tom tom which then connects to the GPS without a problem.
You do loose the GPS connection when you make or recieve a phone call, I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the handsfree kit or the M2000 though, I've only had if for 2 weeks so I'm still experimenting with it!

[Q] Bluetooth connection problems

Hello together,
I have a problem with bluetooth connections:
I'm using a HTC Desire, rooted and flashed with a ROM from Alex-V Android Version 2.3.3 with the 2.6.35.8 Kernel.
I have two bluetooth devices:
MM100 Stereo Headset from Sennheiser
BT-Version: 2.0 + EDR
Protocolls: HSP, HFP, A2ADP, AVRCP
and the Hands free car kit Parrot MK6000
BT-Version: 1.2
Protocolls: HSP, HFP, AADP, AVRCP
I can pair both devices with my Desire and the latest paired device would connect automatically to audiosystem for media and telefone when switched on.
The problem is, that the first paired device would not connect automatically to my desire and when it is connected manually it would only connect to the audiosystem for media not telefone.
I can't force it to connect with audiosystem for telefone. I checked and un-checked the check-boxes for both connections in every combination :-(
Remark: I don't want to connect both devices at the same time. I know that this is not working ;-)
With the original HTC Rom I doesn't had this problem. Both devices would pair and connect perfect.
Does anyone has the same problem, or perhaps a solution for this problem?

Hello,
is there no one outside with two Bluetooth Hands free devices?
Does anyone has the same problem?

[Q] Android phone as bluetooth gateway.

Hi guys,
After hours of web searches, forum trawling and experimentation, I have yet to find an answer to my question.
GOAL: To connect an old, Android bassed phone handset to an analogue amplifier and use it as a bluetooth passthrough gateway.
I have an old Sony Ericson X10 at my disposal which I would like to connect (via a 3.5mm jack to RCA) as a permanent fixture to my outdoor analogue amplifier and speaker setup. Ultimately, this phone would act as a bluetooth gateway to which other bluetooth source devices could connect and stream music stored on said source devices via this gateway to my audio setup.
The control and volume, as well as the media storage would be taken care of by the source devices and audio passed via bluetooth to the audio setup.
I have tried many apps available and have found none to do this basic task. If there is one available, or similar, I would love to hear about it!
Regards,
Jordan.

[Q]: Bluetooth OBD2 & headset simultaneously

Hello everybody
Please apologize if this question might have been answered already. However, I haven't found a thread that dealing with this exact question.
I was wondering if anybody ever had a OBD2 Bluetooth dongle and headset connected at the same time. Is this possible?
I'm planning to use an OBD2 Bluetooth dongle together with Torque Pro to retrieve engine data on my HTC one. At the same time I don't want to sacrifice my car's Bluetooth headset, also connected to my HTC one.
So while displaying the engine details I still want to be able to answer calls using my headset.
Has anybody ever dealt with such a scenario? Did it work?
Thanks very much any hint and / or info!
[SOLVED] [Q]: Bluetooth OBD2 & headset simultaneously
To whoever it may concern, I was able to have both Bluetooth devices connected simultaneously, the car's hands-free and OBD2 dongle. Could even listen to music on my device through Bluetooth.
HTC ONE with Android 4.2.2
BMW Hands-Free Bluetooth integration
OBD2 Bluetooth dongle used with Torque Pro
Hope this helps people with similar concerns.
