Hello everybody, is there a way to repair the bootloader without using SETool box o dongle? Basically, I'm asking if I can repair it only with the USB cable and a specific software. I'm asking this, because here in Argentina I found it hard and expensive to buy a specific hardware.
Bootloader was damaged by trying to unlock it.
Thanks!
How have you damaged it? What process was used to unlock bl?
Have you tried to repair with se companion or flashtool?

I really don't know what process was used, I didn't do it, but as far as i know, it was a bat file which had to be launched after a kernel downgrade. I tried usin flashtool with different versions but it always shows a SIN header verification failure. SE companion does nothing, i've also tried it.
Thanks by the way!!

My xperia Mini (ST15) hangs during "Booting Phone..." in wotan client, AND during "Flashing Loader" in flashboot. I have search a lot and I can't find an answer, and the only persons who had the same problem fix it by doing the process again, but I have done it more than 10 times each process but no luck.
I have found doing *#*#7378423#*#* that I have "Bootloader unlock allowed: No" but I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem or not.
Please, give me some advice! Thank you!
so what do you want to do with your phone? BL unlock?
I want to reflash the phone with a generic firmware (debranding) But I'm unable to flash it using this two software because it won't start the flashing process...
Is there anything I should do before doing this steps???
Thank you!
Has anyone has at least a though about this???
you cant flash generic. you have to sim unlock it first.
The only way to sim-unlock my xperia is by buying and using credits on SETOOL ?
Thank you
yes. by setool or wotanserver. both are paid.

if you still need official flashing support use Sony Ericsson Update Service
download here :

But it is not asking for any unlock code , so why do i need to unlock it again?
Its just that i flashed Bootloader Relocking file on already bootlocked phone.
You should try to flash a custom rom, whats your bl status ?

I dont knw abt my BL status,
all what i remember is that i accidently flashed the BLRelocker V1.ftf file on my already locked BL phone, and this scenario happened.
Anyone there please help me ////
I may be wrong, buy I seem to recall that no radio service (signal) is related to baseband, maybe would be a good idea reading the original thread about the flashtool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746 and/or asking Bin4ry or Androxyde, since they are creators, they know everything about flashtool. it also would be a good idea give a little more info, what method was used to unlock your phone?
I have pm'ed androxyde .
I gave it to repairing shop for sim unlocking, he unlocked succesfuly.
When i reached home i accidently flashed my phone with BLRelocer V1.ftf and then the mess started.
Hello All
I was reading about how to root my Xperia S, I saw I need to unlock my bootloader, however my operator put a lock on my phone and I think I can't unlock it with the official way, is there another way to have root on my phone with android 2.3.7
Thanks!

same here, I bought my Xperia S directly to Sony Mexico, and it is locked too, I talked with Sony like 5 times, each one with different person and all said the same, that it is locked because in Mexico, there are not unlocked devices, no matter who sold it. They said that I have to talk with telcel so maybe they can give me the unlock code, will let you know if I will success
Hi, I was thinking in getting an Xperia S but if the bootloader is locked I won't get it.
Just to clarify, you both have done this (from: http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions)
1. First, you should confirm that it is possible to unlock the boot loader of your phone by checking the service menu. In your phone, open the dialler and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu.
2. In your phone, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.

and you got the "Bootloader unlock allowed: No"?
Yep it says "no" if you are going to Buy one it is better if you buy it on web pages, you can find it unlocked by factory

So is there another way you can get a code or does it has to be from TELCEL? i mean are there some kind of keygens or something? i bet TELCEL can't have thousands of codes for all the cellphones they have...
setool s1 servers are online so you can unlock simlock, and bootloader of any provider
Do you have the link to setool page?
Enviado desde mi LT18i usando Tapatalk 2
and what exactly is this setool s1? and how do you use it?
SeTool2 is tool to unlock, repair etc Sony Ericsson phones.
It can unlock Xperia S (LT26) with they servers (names s1 server) it online 0:00 - 12:00 gmt
You must buy software + server credits to ulock or find someone to unlock your phone in my country cost 140 PLN ~ 32 Euro ~ 41USD
Sounds great! Do you know were can find a guide to do it?
Enviado desde mi LT18i usando Tapatalk 2
it's not too easy, but apart of the setool software you have to own a box to conect to your pc in order to unlock the sim and enable the fastboot, if i'm wrong then make a tutorial and teach us how???
i dont have money to buy setool for unlock one phone. so i cant make tutorial
people that unlock Xperia S do it remote by TeamViewer ... you just download software and connect Xperia to pc by USB cable, they login to your pc, then login to s1 server with their user/password and unlock
i check this metod after get salary and write more
enable fastboot and sim unlock

Hello
I need to send my device to warranty, it have a problem in the acelerometer, my bootloader is locked but I've rooted the phone to repair the wireless issue not being able to connect and disconnect wpa networks.
Every posts that i've seen that talks about unroot the phone they talk in unlocked bootloaders, that's not my case, so how can I make the phone stock again? Can i just use the Sony PCCompanion and SUS Repair?
thanks in advance
