I rooted my phone and everything was OK until I updated my phone to the last system version. I flashed stock recovery and download an update. After all I flashed TWRP recovery and.. lost my root! What's the problem in this situation? I will be very pleasure if you help me.

Hi all.
Device: Galaxy Tab 7510 US, stock ICS, rooted with CWM 5.5.0.4 and SuperSU
If I do a factory reset via the settings menu, what will the result be?
Will I be back to like new, out of the box condition?
Thanks.
You'll need to flash the stock recovery also.

If I don't flash stock recovery, does that mean I'd be back to like new, but would still
be rooted with CWM and SuperSU intact?
Another question: Am I correct that if I flash the stock ICS update on my rooted tab, it would
no longer be rooted?
Thanks.

Thank you,
Hey guys,
Can I still use the easy root tool to root after updating to the 4.4.4 firmware?
Thanks
Nope
I tried but it is getting stuck on CREATING VM (JAVASUCKS)
Same here... +1 Stuck on "Creating VM... "
No, the known flaws in 4.4.2 are all patched for latest fw, only current way around it is to downgrade, root install dual recovery and flash a pre-rooted zip from CWM.
In other words;
Go back to .314 (4.4.2) firmware,
Root,
Install a recovery,
And flash the new 4.4.4 firmware via recovery.

There are new rumors that you can root 314 - select preserve mode in SuperSU - and go OTA... and root will remain...

Yeah I've heard that aswell. It's most likely working. Shall I try it? Just spent a few hours getting 4.4.4 work on my phone with root...
Ah right - Fuuuun...
I think i'll just carry on stock until someone sorts out a rooting method for 4.4.4 that doesn't involve so much faffing about lol.
Thanks for all the replies
Just keep a eye in Z3 Section too
4.4.4 firmrare is a near direct port
Hi folks,
I have a new 4.4.4 Z2, should I root it now or wait after the Lollipop version is installed?
Will I be able to install the Lollipop when rooted?

Now struggling for a night with unlocking the bootloader, sooms that W7x64 has a prob with it so he can't find the driver.
I'm becoming a nerd
Sorry about my grammar. I have lenovo p780 8GB row.So I was using the miui rom for a long time and thought of flashing the AOSP 4.4.4 row rom(by bauu).started by doing a full twrp backup.went to recovery mode while wipeing cache.davilik and data I accidently wiped system and the rom failed to instal.so I flashed back to stock jelly bean.rooted the phone and forwarded to instal the rom wiped cache davilik data and installed the rom the rom installed wiped cache and davelik.phone started without any problems.but the rom was using only external memory for storing apps and stuff and had some issues with camera and decided to go back to miui.went to recovery wiped cache davelik data and installed different version of miui(latest version)I was using v.5 or something before.usually I get 5 to 5.80 GB of free space in any roms I tried but I had only 3 Gb this time so flashed back to stock.tried factory reset and clearing cache in stock recovery. But couldn't recover the lost memory.operating system occupied 5GB space . I have no idea what to do any HELP is greatly appreciated
thanks in advance
Install the stock rom and update to s226 hope your problem will be solved

ok. no problem for that !
small tutorial. Look what you have to do!
download your stock firmware from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-p780/development/p780-stock-rom-links-t2842399
Use only this 2 tools to flash: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B_B98oK4DpK1S1l2bXRkTGxhVFk&usp=sharing
If you use other tools you can corrupt your NVRAM and loose IMEI.
After flash you need to install TWRP. Here is the small tutorial and tools: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-p780/help/rooting-tutorial-kitkat-t2835605
After TWRP install, you can install any zip file firmware. Here is what i reccommend: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bw-fSKX78W43R0xHSXVMajNucFE&usp=sharing
MIUI 6.1.21 is the file you should install. ROW version.
Good Luck.
Waiting for feedback!

...Update...
Did you did it ? Have you manage to resolve your problem ?
Hello guys,
So recently i installed hydrogen os rom on my oneplus x and its super awesome but when i heard of 2.2.2 update, i thought of switching to oxygen os. I restored my Twrp backup of Oxygen 2.1.x stock rom(non rooted backup and evrything stock), and when i install any update on 2.1.x, it fails. Please suggest anything on how to install 2.2.2 version of oxygen os..!!
I had the same problem. You need to get the flashable 2.2.2 zip version and dirty flash. When your completely stock it won't let you update unless you have stock recovery.

No you will still have twrp. If you want stock recovery you can flash via adb or app like flashify (root required).
