I just wanted to put up the framework-res.apk from the CM7.2 M12 ROM for modding.....
Hopefully some dev can mod it and make a port for the ICS transition effects for CM 7.2...

I never have such experience with ICS transisition effect for CM7 base rom,. but I've tried to make it for you.
below is flashable.zip via CWM, please try it, but please make a back up first of your current system,. in case to prevent bootlop
I make this base from OP shared framework-res.apk
so make sure before you test my zip, you are running in stok OP Rom
try first zip here : ICS_Transition_effect
or if it doesn't work please try this second VERSION-2 zip here : VERSION-2_ICS_Transition_effect

just try it when you'll have time to do so....it's not like..."do it now dude"....take it easy...take your time to do backups be4 trying anything and stuff.....and like adi said....it's you who requested mod...hence you need to test...or anyone else that's interested....I don't have my g3 for a long time now so I can't test it either...
but...I have an opportunity to get one from my dear friend here......

OK firs kernel in zip package is not working (endless boot) so I flash with Night-elf kernel and starts ok but no WiFi, and its CM7 not CM9, camera works as video too. Rom is fast with no lags. That is what I notice.

When can you try! which kernel you used to boot?
I used Night-elf kernel from achotjan rom thread. Only thing is that WiFi is not working, it say error.

Currently we are in the middle of an update wave for all our ROMs. When the update wave reaches the S III Mini we will see what we can do with ROMs that don't boot...

s5280 and s5282 have same board.. a little tweak in the ramdisk and the rom works for both s5280 and s5282

what makes you even think any dev is working for this device?? have you checked the development threads lately??
the only devs that worked ever for this device are.. Unjustified Dev, Doc_cheilvenerdi.org, Hnk1, TripRex, k2wl, ankur850 (sorry if i missed anyone)
others just know how to modify.. port apps.. theming and other stuffs..
all the roms there are stock deodexed roms with modded ui's.. this device is gonna get stuck in android 4.1.2 till hell freezes over..

sorry to say buddy but the only kitkat you are gonna get on this device is some fake mods and ui.. this device uses Linux 3.0.8.. i complied this kernel with it with 4.7 toolchain it gave 1000+ warnings.. had to switch back to 4.3 toolchain
one needs to use at least 3.4.x kernel to get kitkat running... who's gonna patch the kernel?? who's gonna build 4.4 rom?? who's gonna build cwm6.4.x+ to flash a 4.4 rom.. ?? (Hint: no one)

we could at least get cm 10.1, android 4.2.2 running on this device.. that too with good for no daily use... if it wasn't for Doc_cheilvenerdi.org, Unjustified Dev and me.. we couldnt even see a REAL Android 4.2.2 on this ****** device.

You can try slim stable 9. It is rock stable. I like slim coz black theme. Excellent for our AMOLED :victory:

Already used it. But have some visual glitchs and the worst is the camera. I'm using the nameless 4.4.4 from 15/12. It's very stable and hw composer and the camera are working very well . (I would love to have the final version )
