yeh i know but the file manager was not working and there were many issues apart from that and the OP has not updated it so i decided to port it
DO this, AND DO IT! take libhardware_legacy.so from a cm7 nexus one working rom and swap it into this port (lewa rom) and tell me how it goes
Wifi issue can be something related to wifi module or wpa_supplicant config file (located in /system/etc/wifi). Give a shot.
Btw, if this rom is cm7 based, you can try using some different kernel, like tiamat.

CyanogenMod 11-based ROM for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G (LTE). You need to have a custom recovery installed beforehand.
I lost my device to an armed robber, thus stopped development. However, if you donate to buy a device, that would be awesome. A Note 4G costs about $275 in my region. Feel free to donate to help me continue the development: Click here for donation. Every donor will be credited. Both on the thread and inside the ROM.

Fantastic! Downloading now!
EDIT: Mmmm.... Runs fantastic! Battery life also great as far as I can tell so far. Do not forget to flash Google Apps! For your convenience:

Either :
1. Flash a MIUI Stock rom in recovery after all wipes or
2. Flash a MIUI Fastboot Rom.
Actually there is a small problem, I can't adjust the brightness...

Just put this in the bug tracker as well:
To get rid of the on-screen navigation keys, open a root editor, mount as RW. Go to /system, find build.prop, add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" without quotes at the bottom. Save and reboot. Tadaa!

Faster and more stable, and kernel 3.10. CM has some problems such as bluetooth connection or suddenly get soft reboot, or some crazy issues when your device works for a long time without reboot. And I think have no reason for trying a unlocked bootloader ROM with kernel 3.4.

That is not pure AOSP. I am telling about AOSP 5.1.1 by FXP team..
Fxp team aosp 5.1.1 is alright but its camera is really bad and the rom has several performance issues
I'd love to switch from stock to cyanogenmod but i keep getting random soft reboots
Aosp is harder to port but provides a faster and smoother aswell as a more pure experience
Cm is easier to port but same as aosp, if not done properly then its not worth

It's not right. AOSP is more easier to port but it's not popular as well as CM so there're less developers do that.
