Faster and more stable, and kernel 3.10. CM has some problems such as bluetooth connection or suddenly get soft reboot, or some crazy issues when your device works for a long time without reboot. And I think have no reason for trying a unlocked bootloader ROM with kernel 3.4.

That is not pure AOSP. I am telling about AOSP 5.1.1 by FXP team..
Fxp team aosp 5.1.1 is alright but its camera is really bad and the rom has several performance issues
I'd love to switch from stock to cyanogenmod but i keep getting random soft reboots
Aosp is harder to port but provides a faster and smoother aswell as a more pure experience
Cm is easier to port but same as aosp, if not done properly then its not worth

It's not right. AOSP is more easier to port but it's not popular as well as CM so there're less developers do that.

I am curious why here on xda is not much about this great rom?
http://goo.im/devs/liquidsmooth/umts_spyder
i am using it since few days, it is smooth as in name, battery is ok, usb connection works, it is kexec...and after you install more locale 2 is almost in your language...
only problem i have is - i dont see how to enable usb debugging as titanium backup asks me to do it...
if soemone know, please write here, because on settings-apps there are only apps...

Im going to try this too.
Can i flash it via SS3.11?
what's the base? cm10 aokp etc. ?
will it work @bmm
There is no need to enable USB debugging even if titanium ask for that .it works without enabling since gingerbread. you can switch off the message inside titanium setting.however USB debugging is inside developer settings menu.this ROM is old.that's why it's not listed here

Kernel is kexec, you can flash it having already installed any other kernel
In bmm 0.3.4 just enable kexec, i have it on slot_3
kernel inside this rom is 3.0.31 by dhacker29
it can be connected to usb pc and there is no reboot.

hmm tried it for just abit on system 2 of bmm, it's seems pretty stable, but i think i will stick with the non-kexec version for the time being. works better with motomizer for underclocking/undervolting

It's not based on CM or AOKP, Liquid Smooth uses their own source.
Just installed it in Slot_2 using BMM and works like a charm! Smooth, fast and a lot of customization options. Really I love it!!
I hope they can add Spanish language because with morelocale is not enough to get everything in spanish.
Thanks for this!!

jbx is based on the stock 4.1 rom if i'm not mistaken, the roms that have issues with camera flash are the ones that are cm/aokp/liquidsmooth based roms, which are 4.2 and above.

Also, like the recent Blisspop builds, the wake issue is not a problem on the latest nightly with the included kernel.

So for D802 it requires Jb bootloader /Loki or Kk bootloader?cause Lp uses kk bootloader (stock) but this is not stock perhaps. Installation and instructions arent that specific Coming from cloudyg2 3.3 Lp 5.0.2 Dorimanx kernel.
Both lp-loki and lp-bumped boot stacks will work. Most convenient way probably is

EDIT: What kernel works best with this rom (to the ppl who flashed diff kernels) ? Dorimanx or most other kernels are stock based here. 5.1.1 Nightly isnt exactly stock, i think. SOme d802 users battery drain, idle or SOT is because of the stock kernel 3.4.0 (well atleast for me), dunno about other versions tho.Cheers
The daily builds run Marshmallow now and it's pretty stable. Everything works on my d801. I'm also using LamdaKernel even though the one from AICP is pretty good.

I'm curious about this rom, but the problems i had with cm12.1 and 13 was the battery, it drained in 5 hours even on screen off i tried using other kernels but i never got them to make a significant difference, now im on Resurrection Remix 5.6.1 on M and the battery is amazing, also, i wasn't able to get QuickRemote working on M either CM or RR, have you tried it?

Hi,
Haxynox is actually pretty fast and thin. Discovered a bug, but cannot post it there. So i'm thinking of kinda spamming this place till i get my count up to 10
But in general, KitKat seems better choice for i9300 era systems. Would be nice, if someone compiled as close to aosp kitkat as possible. CM was close, but now really gets bloated with its additional software. It even has CM account system. Maybe i will test out Omni.
Omni is ok, but no theme support, same like slim kk
Hey,
I've been using CM's Nightly 6.0 ROM [11/26] for the past 24hrs and it's OK, most things work properly, although flashing SuperSU gets me bootlooped and I cannot gain root access in any other way (Dev options etc).
So I've been wondering, for those of you who are using a Marshmallow ROM on your OPO,which one are you using and how stable is it?
Latest official cm13 nightly, most stable so far.
There is root, it works fine.
Ask that in Android General or somewhere..this is for deveolpment i believe....but try VM13 its the best 6.0 IMO
Broken Os is flawless. Can't be found on XDA though. Over on Google +.

Running Dirty Unicorns official for 6P for 24 hours now and I'm not finding any flaws.
Everything I've tried works and it's been fast and smooth with the stock du kernel.
I've been sticking to stock based roms since nougat came out but couldn't resist the du temptation.
I'll probably try flash kernel at some point to see how it compares and I want to try a theme or 2 but I must say it is impressive and worth checking out.
DU gets little press on xda and I just wanted to give an opinion to those who may not be aware of how great this rom is.

I tought to try it too, just curios about a point, is there a way to enable pixel animated navigation bar? get used to it and i would miss it...
I haven't tried any mods yet so I don't know what will work and what won't.
I was happy to see that google assistant works perfectly as I wasn't sure that it was included and I had been enjoying it on megapixel and cortex and weta roms.
As I said, my next foray will be try a theme or 2.

In DU stock kernel, they have wlan_rx wakelock feature ?
Thx for the thread, I didn't know if they updated DU to 7.1.1.
Does the stock kernel allows us to change screen and sound profiles (color & volume control) by using a kernel app like Ex Kernel manager or kernel adiutor?

I flashed pure nexus gapps and had doubles of a few things like calendar and clock. If it does have them, its not a huge gapps package. Im loving the battery life with flash kernel. Its the best ive had. Cortex and pure nexus are close though. Im also running DU with data as f2fs. As far as the pixel mods go. I had fc of pixel launcher when trying to use the live earth wallpaper. I flashed pixel launcher and wallpapers separately because i got a bootloop with the full pixel mod that included the pixel startup intro thing. Pixel dialer works. Google assistant works. I had to select the live earth wallpaper from within the settings menu. I dont miss the animated nav bar since more 7.1.1 themes are available now. It causes conflicts. I love this rom.

I suggest to stick on the Stock Kernel, it's terrific as the Rom itself. And yes it does have Wakelock Toggler in EXKM.
