SBF back to 2.3.4, try using this : http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x2-hacks/41697-tool-ezsbf-dx2.html use poweriso or another ISO program to burn it to a disk . good luck.

Anyone know of a custom ROM....

That can be flashed through Odin?
Im unable to flash any ROMs through CWM or through recovery since I have a problem with the SD card (had this problem after flashing a stock Froyo ROM) also after doing this I cant get into recovery or download through the 3 button combo, used to be able to do it but cant anymore for some reason (I think its also because of the Froyo flash), I have CWM installed and every time I try to flash any ROM it gives me an E:Error cache/sd (Status 2)
I havent been able to fix this issue, so I thought of trying to work around it, I am able to get into download mode using ADB, so I was hoping to find a custom ROM that can be done through Odin, by trying a new custom ROM Im hoping to get rid of my SD card issue (card says its write protected but its not)
Your best bet would be to odin back to stock and go from there. Start back off with a clean slate and be able to use ClockworkMod. Just check the stickies for the proper procedures.
Oh, and just for reference, you are putting the .zip ROM file on the root of you internal memory? If not, try that with ClockworkMod again and see what happens.

I would have to second the Odin back to stock recommendation as well.
Last thing you want to do is soft brick the phone while it's hardware locked. That's a recipe for hard brick if I ever saw one.

I am referring to stock 2.1. All the Froyo builds are unofficial. Just do a search in the vibrant Android dev section for JFD. That is the latest official Rom, which 2.1.

No its not
From MicroSD you can only flash .zip files. Otherwise you have to usethe LG utility. But if you have such problems with your phone, try to reflash the rom you want to use and don't forget to wipe data and cache before flashing.

Flash this in Odin after you disconnect every USB device, take battery out of phone for few minutes, reboot your computer, only plug your phone into a new USB slot.

I thought you only did that if you're running a working rom. Because I flashed this over a custom rom that soft bricked and it worked fine.....but to play it safe, you are right and it's even stated on his thread

I used every type of stock rom there is. Is there anyway to like flash an actual rom like other than the stock ones? I'm on Stock 2.2 now but the sd card just isn't working. Only 1 drive mounts and thats the drive that had avatar on it.

My bad man, I forgot to add that It flashes the stock 2.2 froyo. I just cant use my internal sd card. So all i can do is use wifi, service features, but cannot download apps and other stuff like that. The build number: Froyo.UVJK2 is the one it works almost as usual.
So far I have tried to format the sd card and even restore factory reset but nothing has worked.

Ok, download rom manager app, flash vibrant recovery, reboot into recovery, reinstall package.

Which kernel are you using? Settings, about, kernel. Just to make sure you flash the correct file.
It says that I don't have enough memory to download any apps.
Am I supposed to Odin that?
First tell me which kernel you have so I can tell you which file to use with Odin.

Well I flashed the SBF and now my phone just boot loops and I have no CWM or standard wipe bootloader option's, Think I will try a different SBF file when I get home from work. Well gutted
I assume your bootloader is unlocked?
If so then its advised not to use SBFs
As long as you can get into fastboot you can flash cwm and go from there
If you want stock UK Gingerbread i can run you through how to extract system.img and boot.img (can do webtop aswell if you use it) from the sbf and safely flash with fastboot, but CM7 is the way to go

simplest way should be reflashing 2.3.5 and then upgrading back to 2.3.6 ... 2.3.5 via RSD or Fla**** by EternityProject will perform a "full wipe" of your phone, so that every functionality should be restored.
greetings
is it okay?

Tx for ur reply...
Which step is the best:
1. Flash 2.3.5 en.eu, then update 2.3.6 en.eu.zip.
2. Flash 2.3.5 en.eu, then flash 2.3.6 retail.asia.
since I only have 3 files right now, (2.3.5 en.eu sbf) (2.3.6 en.eu update.zip) & (2.3.6 retaila asia .sbf). OR should I download the real 2.3.6 en.eu .sbf/2.3.5 retail asia .sbf.

i don't know if it's possible to update an 2.3.5.retail.EN.EU to an 2.3.6.retail.ASIA (my opinion is it won't work), but the way it should work fine is the first. Do you need the asian one?

If you still get customer ID error you did not successfully restore mmcblk1p18 and this is the cause of your problems

Well AFAIK if you still getting Customer ID error etc you should try to restore mmcblk1p18 once again. Pls use ConnectBot to restore the original file. If you're doing everything right you don't need to flash any firmware again. After the correct restoration you should be able to boot w/o BP Tools and have mass storage properly functioning. The most common mistakes are:
1. You haven't rooted via motofail before restoring mmcblk
2. You are using Terminal Emulator instead of ConnectBot (probably it is the reason)
3. You made a mistake during typing command in ConnectBot program. It should be as follows:
cat /sdcard-ext/mmcblk1p18-back> /dev/block/mmcblk1p18
my own mmcblk
thank you so much guys for ur reply...
until today i still get customerIDerror n lost mass storage function...
I already root with motofail, restore with connectbot, but the problem persist...
I need to know, is that mmcblk different on every device even they use the same ROM? and what size is mmcblk file is?
I ask because my very own mmcblk is 0 Byte size. is that mean that my backup failed? thats why i use mmcblk backup from my friend with the same ROM. the size ia 512kb....
If mmcblk is spesific for each device, is that mean i cant make it works?? is there any method to solve my problem?
-regards-
weiimyway
one more thing guys..how we know that we successful restore with connectbot?
is there appear any line that said "success" or what?
after I write the cat /sdcard....... and then enter, it doesnt say anything, just start a new blank line...is that correct??
Help confirm please...
Guys, anyone can confirm that mmcblk is specific to each device?
I mean is it true that mmcblk on every device is different even use the same ROM or radio?
Until now i cant make my mass storage function works or pass the customerIDerror....
I already done all the instruction you guys given to me, but none of it can make it works. what should i do now....?
