Can I help you? I have a LG Optimus 3D max p720(with nfc).
I never before made a custom rom but I do have some experience in programming and of course installing custom roms on various phone like Galaxy S 2, 3...

You should specify what help you need
After deodexing and adding the updater script.
When i flashed the rom it successfully flashed but i am unable to get data connection.
Means no internet connection on phone.

Get a logcat(cleaner one i.e toggle internet connection 5-6times and paste the lines which come up freshly)

Many people have the device, it's never a bad idea to start such thing, go ahead and do it!
making a rom would be awesome. lol, just look around in the other sections, we would all love to test drive a custom rom (well almost everyone)

Good question lol I'm assuming (hoping) he does and I also have this phone but as this being my main phone I would wait until verified to try ur custom from as I would any from for this phone.. thx in advance if u decide to work on one.. still waiting for jellybean tho

All that stuff can be extracted from the kdz. Since you plan on tweaking your device, I suggest you learn how to use it (my signature). However, I will upload the file, but you will have to wait.

Thanks!! .... All I did was restore my device to an old Build.prop and want to know of they are the same or different (I did it to get Chromecast's netflix working on this device as shown in the Chromecast forums)

We won't be getting 4.4. Period. It's a year old phone with a LOCKED bootloader, why would they give us 4.4? They want us to upgrade. They aren't here to serve us, we're here to serve them. Now, while it would be nice, there's Nexus devices for it.

Yeah, exactly. CyanogenMod may be the only way SOME users experience 4.4. These companies sure have us right where they want us.

Galaxy S2 is SS flagship phone so it get 4.4. But L9 is mid-range phone, if it get 4.4 we all get big surprise by LG.

I think we have a chance at getting an update. Maybe not 4.4, but so far LG has kept this phone on par with their flagship, the original optimus G. The optimus G is rumored to be getting kitkat, we might get it too.

Google claims that 4.4 will work on devices with 512mb ram and will be optimized to work on low/mid range phones,so i dont see why we couldnt get 4.4....It depends on LG.
