So i'm about 6 days happy owner off an HTC Evo 3D. When I bought it the seller wanted to sell me an expensive screen protector costing € 9, I didnt ask for it so in first I though oh they give me an free screen protector.
Personally I don't feel I need an screen protector, I also had no on with mine HTC Desire HD and on that screen there where also no scratches that I could find.
We have gorrilla glass so our screen is scratch resistance, another reason I don't use an screen protector is because most times I don't get it good on and I think it looks better without an screen protector.
Do you guys feel the need for an screen protector?

Have never uses a screen protector on any of my devices and have never had an issue. It all depends on how careful you are with your phone. If you put your phone in the same pocket of your jeans with your keys, then you might want to think about a screen protector. If you always put your phone in your pocket with nothing else or use some sort of hostler, I say no screen protector needed. I had my EVO 4G for over a year and not one scratch and my Evo 3D since 7-22-11 and haven't got a scratch on it yet, but I always put my phone in my pocket with nothing else.
I use a mirrored screen protector so much better quality and much thicker material

No screen protector. Had this phone since launch. The only thing I'm working on is putting a custom body protector to fit this extended battery.

About the Desire X, no sites can give me clear information or not as to whether it has scratch resistant glass or not, with the HTC website saying nothing and other sites saying it does, with others saying that the screen scratches easily.
Could anyone enlighten me about this?

Well there is one easy way to determine this. But i am afraid it may cost you your DX. Hahahaha. Just kidding.
Like you said i dont think its scratch resistant. The answer is obvious as i saw the specs of DX on HTC site too.
Do you think they will pass the opportunity to highlight about the greatness of a device in anyway? I mean they have highlighted all over about Dropbox 25GB free, Beats Audio (just an audio enhancement).
What are those compared to a scratch resistant glass?

Its not using any scratch resistant glass. smoothness of scratch resistant glass not presence in HTC Desire X. I'm using swype as my keyboard, comparing with another phone which is scratch resistant glass. Desire X doesnt glide well. U can also check official website of Corning Gorilla Glass. just search in google corning gorilla glass htc. it will list htc products which are using corning gorilla glass.

None will stand good with keys in a pocket, even the iPhone which has the strongest glass.
I had Incredible S which also had scratch resistant glass, but it came with factory screen protector (a sticker). The same thing is with Xperia Arc S, it comes with factory sticker.
I think that today the scratch resistant screen is standard for all touch screen phones. Don't point me to Huawei u8110, that's not a phone, that's a piece of garbage.

In this regard , we would like to inform you that, HTC Desire X has a Capacitive toughened glass and it does not have “Gorilla” glass. However, If you manually scratch the display of device with hard substance it will get scratched on the display. For extra protection you can use scratch guard.
Has anyone tried both the official OnePlus 5 3D curved screen protector and compare it to the auckly full screen full adhesive screen protector? Does anyone notice any difference between the two?
I tried both and the difference I noticed is that the aukley does not have enough Force to stick to the screen.
This leads to air between the protector and the screen.
The OnePlus does this much better

I recently bought a OnePlus 5 and decided to give Auckly a chance...
Installing the protector is pretty easy, it fits well but won't stick completely at the edges.
Plus: I'm using a very thin flexible case. It's pushing on the edges and lift the screen protector because he's just too thick.

I'm just wondering if anyone has found any good screen protectors for their Mi 5 Plus, I'm looking for one and have no idea what ones are good/bad out there because I know with my Pixel 2 XL there are loads of really bad ones and a few good ones, some really good like the Whitestone Dome glass.
Unfortunately Whitestone don't sell protectors for this phone and I can't find any LOCA glue protectors anywhere, I am going to have a case on my phone so I need a protector that isn't full size rather a slightly smaller one. I also want it to be full adhesive without a dot matrix visible...
Any suggestions?

I got myself one from eBay. The Brand is Nillkin, they are very easy to setup and also saved my smartphone a couple of times.

Phone display differs in mm so no phone display will be exactly the same, also some phone has a punch-hole camera in the top center and top corners but the screen-to-body ratio will differ. So better get a new Pixel 6 screen protector which will fit perfectly. I recommend you, Gadgetshieldz screen guard which is a film protector that gives good protection against scratches and cracks, this is more than enough for the strong gorilla glass!

I have fitted other phone's Screen Protectors to my Pixel 6 e.g. OnePlus Nord, and some other I found in my drawer. Not exactly the same size - but covers enough of glass for me.
