And what happens when you try to hold volume up+home button + power button?

Like I said, check the Rom you downloaded to make sure it's ok, the right one for your region, and redownload just in case it's corrupt

Via Odin flash Philz recovery and boot into recovery format sd card system data cache via mounts and storage .
If you cannot then its a service centre repair job .
Are you sure its an I9300 phone check under the battery .

Will you please link to the stock Rom you are trying to flash

Take out the battery and hold vol.up,home and power as you put it back in. That should open recovery. Then wipe the cache and dalvik cache.

Then you need a service centre repair but i would try USB Recovery Jig first and see if that can access download mode to flash a stock rom .

Recovery is not download mode .
You require a service centre repair if USB Jig does not access download mode .

The safest thing would be to re-flash the stock firmware for your region from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2550692
(using Odin)
Then re-flash the CWM through Odin.
Make sure that "Auto-Reboot" is NOT ticked.
When Odin shows "reset", pull out your battery, and reboot normally.
Download CWM 6.0.4.5 from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2552935
(This version has graphic issues, but it works okay)
You can later use "TriangleAway" to reset the custom binary counters.
Press thanks if I helped in any way :silly:

[Q] I9200 boot loop, can't access recovery mode

I flashed a 4.4.2 stock rom for my mega 6.3 and now it's stuck in the ''recovery booting'' screen with the samsung logo, i can access download mode easily. I've searched, and i think i have to do a factory reset, but i can't access recovery mode (vol up+ home+ power), i've tried everything :/ it just won't boot in recovery mode, so i don't know what to do now, i can successfully flash everything with odin and downlaod mode, but it just keeps on the recovery booting screen, please help!.

Yup, it doesn't recognize the device
Just out of curiosity, have you had the screen replaced on it? That's a common error that has occurred to a lot of people when they've gone back. It's in another thread if you have. Other than that, I have no idea, but it a factory reset is recommended after the install, I'm not sure if you can get the phone loaded to do it. Good luck!!

Just flash a custom recovery CWM Philz touch or TWRP - (the one silesh made) and perform a factory reset with the cusom recovery and if just a fyi you don't need to be rooted to flash a custom recovery.
