What is this?
Market Helper is a tool for Android that helps users to be able to change/fake their rooted devices to any other devices. For example, it can turn your Nexus 7 into Samsung Galaxy S3 in a few seconds. No reboot is required.
To download and install incompatible apps from Android Market / Google Play Market on your devices. For example, if you want to install Viber on your Nexus 7, switch it to Samsung Galaxy S3 and you’ll can. Or if you change your DPI value, you’ll find this app very useful.
- It DOES NOT touch your build.prop or any system files so it’s easier and safer.
- You don’t have to reboot the device to update the change.
- You can switch back your device to original state anytime, by using “Restore” feature or simply by rebooting your device ( with wifi/3g is enabled )
- Totally free
Supports: Android 2.2+ devices with Android Market / Google Play Store + Google Services Framework installed

Not working on Galaxy S2
I am on Samsung Galaxy S2 with Cyanogenmod 10.1 Nightlies. I installed the app and it tells me on screen that the phone is changed. But when I check dashboard, it still shows as S2 instead of S3.
I see a few other people saying the same. Are you planning to fix this?
Cheers!

Samsung has apparently decided that some Galaxy Tabs "did not need" the market pre-installed. I have yet to see somebody with an answer to this either (I don't have a
Galaxy Tab but am now curious about this topic).

A few apps that I've found very handy are:
SuperUser - Google Play - Access control for after rooting
Rom Manager - Google Play - Allows you to install mods within the OS
Driod Wall - Google Play - Firewall for Android
Airdriod - Google Play - Allow you to control you driod device from a computer
Titanium Backup - Google Play - Excellent backup program for apps and settings
Cyanogen - Custom Rom very popular
Hope these help.
So I recently purchased a sony playstation 4 and thought to give it a go with remote play - downloaded from play market. From which I could quite easily connect to the playstation 4 with in my home wifi network (the app itself checks and denies a connection if the phone is not connected to wifi specifically.)
Hence no remote play over mobile network support via sonys official app.
This is where this thread came in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2929147
Read the 2nd post RE z3 phones.
Below I've quoted my post in that thread after my success with the port:
* Z3 Compact
* D5803
* Stock Xperia KitKat 4.4.4
* Unrooted & Locked Bootlaoder.
Simply uninstalled Remote Play which I initially had installed from Play market and then Installed your RemotePlayPortV0.6.1.apk (as per post#2 RE: Xperia Z22/Z3 devices.)
Subsequently successfully achieved your bypass of the dreaded WiFi check hindrance.. and can now Remote Play over 4G.

This is the apk I used from this original thread http://www.mediafire.com/?q4e4tgzzsmgmko1
If you got it Working (or Not) then please post with the below info:
Device Model Number
Rooted or not
Locked or Unlocked Bootlaoder
Android Version (4.4.2 4.4.4 5.0 and AOSP CyanogenMod Stock ect.)
--------------------------------------------------------
To anyone with Root on Stock ROM....
1. Does the official Sony remote play app deny you successful remote play feature given your rooted or does it still work?
2. Does the ported apk attahed in the above post achieve a successful remote play experience (which amongst other things removes the WiFi and Root check Sony had in place within the official remote play app found on market.)
3. Or do the xposed modules "Fake WiFi" & "Root Cloak" collectively make for the 'official remote play' app to work over 4g without need for the ported app?
--------------------------------------------------------
To anyone with Root on CUSTOM ROM...
1. Does the ported remote play app work for you?

need help......
all of thoose things in your list , in my device are ruuning perfectly
All is ok
Same here.
No problem in my Note 4 U model.
Regards.
Xposed does not play nice with S-health or private mode. There are fixes for this, using Wanam Xposed or Xsecurestorage or something like that. You'll also have to delete a file from your private mode folder in order to get it to work. Do a search on here and you will find your answer.

For future, remember there is a dedicated QA section...questions do not belong here + if you took a little time to do some research you would have found the answer easily. :crying:
This is due to a conflict between Xposed modules/framework and Samsung's SHealth & Private mode. The solution comes from Wanam and you have 2 options, basically 2 different XPosed modules:
- XSecure Storage - dedicated module that addresses only this incompatibility or,
- Wanam Xposed, a vast collection of customizations which (among many. many other things) also includes the fix for Secure Storage. Install, reboot, voila!! Thank Wanam!!
I haven't tested this other solution, but apparently you can also fix this in build.prop by changing the <ro.securestorage.support> from true to false.
I have Acer A500 with Android 4.0.3
I'm trying to install apk Youtube 11.01.70
Youtube won't run without Google Pay services
Google Play services is not present
I try to install apk Google Play services 14.3.69. When I try to install it, it tells me there is a problem parsing the package
Any more ideas?
Because you're using an outdated version of Android.
So it's not possible at all? I thought for an old version of Android I just had to find the right old version of the apps (apk) and installed them.

Even if you did that, it'll ask you to update your apps.
And you can't manually just add all the apps you need? (like Google Play Services in my case)
I find it surprising that this old Android cannot go back to the state it was 10 years ago, if I can get the same software (apk)
In general, the problem parsing the package means that your system software is too old to install that apk file.
Can't you upgrade your Acer A500 system software via OTA at first?
On the other hand, does your mobile phone system really have no built-in Google service framework?

Thanks for the idea. I have never done something like that. Where can I find a OTA image for A500? If you have any instructions for installation it would be also appreciated
Thanks for all the answers. To clarify:
I had Google Services Framework 4.0.4-278776
I just installed Google Play Services 8.1.04 (2215451-036) (036) (successfully, as per indications in this post)
I had install Youtube 11.01.70
When I try to run Youtube tells me that there is a newer version and doesn't go further.
This tablet won't run anything past android 4.0.3, at least without some hacks. With hacks this will run with android 5.1, thus allowing the installation of YouTube.
