No, the Lumia 800 is a WP7 device and the Lumia 810 is WP8. Stick to the WP8 section mate, the 810 might get it's own eventually :good:

Anyone upgrading to WP8?

Is anyone going to move across to WP8 when it comes out? The new Nokia Lumia 920 looks very nice indeed. Might upgrade to that when my contract is up at the end if the year.

Good for you. I don't see the point. It's too... How do you say... Idiot proof of an interface to make me feel like I can do anything with it.

It's not windows mobile anymore
But to answer I probably won't. And not because I think it's useless but because I'm already so invested with Android. All my Applications have been bought on Google Play.

Windows 8? Only on PC ;p as mariojp said: I don't want to lose my apps and games. I think I will stay with Android to his end.
Android releases are only on Jelly Bean. It will be a long time before we get to Walnut Pie.

Soccer moms can be hot so... it's still not worth getting an IPhone.

I was joking. The hardware for the new iPhone is pretty solid, but I feel hampered by the software. And a lot of the "revolutionary" new features have been done before... Some more than a year or 2 ago. Android has many phones comparable in hardware, maybe not the evo 3d, any the software is much more versatile.

Nah, I'd rather get an evo OG from 2010.
...
Since the specs matches ... Except evo has bigger screen. Lol

Hopefully this thread isn't devolving into a flame war.
I have to agree with what has been said about the iPhone, though. It has very nice hardware, and a very nice screen. It's hard to argue against that, but I've never felt comfortable with the iOS. It's limiting and the rollout of its newest features seem like playing catch-up rather than innovating, at least recently.
I used WP7 for about an hour once. I have to say that I didn't dislike it. While I'm pretty invested in Android, like plenty of other people on this forum, I wouldn't be afraid to get a Lumia 920 or any WP8 phone, so long as it was within reach, but I feel like I would still feel limited.

[closed] Cyanogenmod 10 coming to one x+?

I'm just wondering whether it is being worked on because I put cyanogenmod on my cousins S3 and I want it too because I feel my battery life would be a ton better with it. I just don't wanna switch and lose my quad core

I'd be more worried about it getring sense 5 than it getting Klp at this point.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
In the end it doesn't really matter if we get klp or sense5 through official channels because they can always be ported by the community. Look at the hd2.

I'm sure someone will make a port of it so many months after lime pie is released. cyanogenmod has made it so many more devices can have new Andorid versions. I guess the answer to your questions is: most likely.
I think it will be our next and last update, maybe Q4 2013 or Q1 2014. Before the HTC Droid Mitrocondia comes out.
I'm afraid with the one coming out the DNA will be just forgotten about by HTC
HtC DNA
XDA App

HTC has already slotted the DNA for KLP upgrade after the announcement. Q3 was the last i read. as for being forgotten. 2 things are in the works. The Droid DNA is supposed to be "re-released" with the 1.7 quad processor and sdcard slot. The M7 is a Different variation of HTC phone. Gives users that don't want a 5" phone something a little smaller. After all, Android is all about personalization.

Okay then it probably isn't anything you should worry about. Just a small system improvement.
Sure, It's just a bit weird for me that I cannot find any information \ changelog about this update,

I think it's carrier-specific...
