Its also Power Home or i wouldn't have posted it. Try it if you dont believe.
On my phone power volume down just lowers the volume.
Tried on Android revolution, trickdroid and Maximus roms.. Maybe stock is different. Who at XDA uses stock> lol

Sorry you are correct it does work if you hold down power and click home. For me pressing power and volume down at the same time work also. Who new?

Last night my phone downloaded a new firmware update. Any idea what was new?

plus the thread is about an update thats probably 2 weeks old already
I think I got it now....
That update has been out so long and what does the power button menu show you? mine shows off, data mode, flight mode, restart along with the 3 volume options.
is there any tweak or hack to increase our x8 in-call volume..??
please i need it.. my x8 incall volume is toooo low

I found an app that does something like what I said, but is with the brightness instead of the volume. And it comes up whenever I press the volume rocker on my device, so that is a plus! Support for the app is gone though, because it hasn't been updated in 2 years. It's called Brightness Rocker incase anybody wants to know.

I've tried getting the menu button back with TweaksBox but just doesn't seem to want to work. Tried what the app suggests plus rebooted and nothing... Am I just missing something?
