Hi
Does anyone know how the rebate works?
Or can someone post the detail procedure?
Thanks in advance as the search and Google can't find a detail guide

The first link's promotional tradeup has already ended. You needed to sign up via an older page that's no longer there to receive the code.
The second one is new to me..I've never seen it. Though, FWIW, the original $100 tradeup for the One valued my HTC G2/Desire Z at 100 and with this new link, it values it at $0.

yeah I was pretty sure it was expired unless you had already registered.....I saw this but didn't register in time
I got the promo code in an email yesterday from HTC. I did sign up for this early. I think I actually did it twice with another email address. I might have two codes. If I have an extra one I'll post it here.
I had registered when they first announced the program. I got my info and shipping label to send in my old Atrix 4G. $100. considering I paid that for it on contract a couple years ago, I'm a happy camper.
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
I can top that. $100 for an old HTC 8525 windows mobile phone lol.
$100 is the minimum you will get no matter what you send in. I'm sending in a 12 year old kyocera flip phone

that is incorrect. if the trade value shows up as $0 then they recycle your phone and you get nothing.

you have to put your phone in as well as the code...the value will show up as either $0, $100, or slightly more depending on your smartphone
Yeah, pretty sure you send in a 12 year old flip phone, you won't be getting money back.

Read carefully. Theres a list of qualifying phone for minimum $100 trade in. If your phone is not in that list, you get nothing.
Cheapest phones to buy for trade in is old Blackberry series that are on the list or palm pre stuff.
They must be working condition and no water damage. They will check the white sticker.
I bought Blackberry 8870 or something for $15.

Used Devices that are sent in that do not qualify either because a) the model of used Device is not eligible or b) the Device is not in the condition stated or c) does not have a qualifying Proof of Purchase will not be eligible for Program and will be recycled without any payment and any OEM incentives are forfeited.

thats straight from the terms of use page: http://www.htctradeup.com/htcone/?q=terms_of_use
devices that arent eligible are those that have a $0 trade in value or arent listed in the drop down menu and they only accept smartphones.
i'm trading in my POS blackberry storm i had sitting in a drawer for $100. pretty sure flip phones aren't eligible, it has to be some kind of smart phone (which the blackberry barely qualifies as imo )
This must be a new, different trade up program, Like a previous poster stated, I have an LG thrive lying around, and I was quote 100 dollars, I have the label printed and ready to send it out, with this new link, I was quote 0 dollars, so they must have given leniency to those who did the pre signup

That's weird. The one I signed up for was way back from March some time. I did my pre-order on April 4th, and there was a list of "qualifying phones" for the minimum $100. It's basically any modern smartphone (Android/Palm) or even crappy blackberries. I just sent mine out yesterday, I needed to included the charger, battery, old phone, copy of the receipt for HTC One, packing slip (printed online), HTC One's imei number (online form).

Thanks for your inquiry and the useful information. Screen burns are covered by our insurance. We should inform you that shortly the device Samsung Galaxy Note may be moved over to the iPhone insurance arena (more costly, higher deductibles) as its replacement is very expensive. Currently it is still available under Smartphones so I recommend you make application ASAP.

Not personally. I bought it for my GNote because I have a friend who had it and had a claim and they handled it very quickly and smoothly. Cost was 58 for a year.

If anyone is wanting to go Ensquared, you can actually purchase the insurance now since I don't know when the price hike will take place. My order just went through fine. I just listed the phone model as "AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-I717."
There is a final step to activate the insurance where you need to put in the phone's IMEI number, but the order can be finalized and paid for without that step -- the plan just won't be active until you put in the IMEI.

In another thread, someone said that to make a theft/misplacement claim to EnSquared, you need to have a police report. Does that really make sense??
Although I can see them possibly suspecting that someone called AT&T to deactivate their lost phone...and then milking an extra replacement unit.
What if the police later find it?

Just Pre-ordered EVO LTE from Wirefly (Upgrade Price) for $139
Was $119, sorry ladies & gents, deal was limited time only.
I started a thread in the OG EVO forum before this forum existed, thought I would pass this along to the XDA community.
I have used Wirefly before, I was very happy with them, so they will continue to get my business.

Just a friendly warning, the sale seems to be linked to specific zip codes. The link in the OP is setup for Garfield NJ, 07026 and the one I actually used was for Spring TX. If I updated the zip to my real zip code, the sale price is $149. Their system will also AUTOMATICALLY make your City, State, zip that of which the link takes you to.
Now I placed my order, realized the address issue and will contacted them tomorrow to modify my address. Not sure if that will effect the price I pay BUT one thing is for sure, its not going to cost me $217 either way.
I'll update here after I get the address corrected and confirm my price after. I figure I'll give it a day in their system to get to stick and then update the address.
I ordered yesterday for $149.99
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
It should be noted that there is a $37 activation fee from Sprint.
I changed the zipcode to mine (here in chicago) and it kept the $119.99 price. And yes, there is a $36 activation fee, but this is still cheaper than $150 if you figure in the $10 google wallet credit...
$119.99
$36
-$10
-----------
$145.99
Not bad at all. Not the $10 I paid for my evo a few days before christmas (price match + rebate), but flipping that, I should net under $50 or less for the whole thing.
EVO for $99.99 if you have Bank of America
Log into your bofa account and click on the add it up link. click on cell phone deals and bofa will credit your account $50 if you buy using their link. I tried getting the $119.99-$50 add it up, but it won't work.
One or the other.
By the way, to get the $119.99 deal, do a google search for "wirefly friends and family" and click on the first non-ad link.
So to summarize, $119.99 if you don't have bofa
or
$99.99 if you have bofa using the add it up link.

How will they know? You don't activate through them. You buy from them, tell them it's for the upgradable line, then when you get it, you activate through Sprint and have them so the switch. Wirefly is out of the picture once you have the device.

Why is there an activation charge?
How is this any different than buying a phone off of Craigslist and getting it activated?
Edit:
Does Sprint charge $37 activation even if you get it from them anyway?
(If so, then this isn't an issue. Gotta pay it either way, right?)

Because you need to "activate" it on the carrier and it's no different, you would be paying the same charge no matter where you get the phone. Now, the activation fee did double but that puts Sprint in line with the other carrier's activation/upgrade fees and adds more cash to the "fix the network" pot.
*Activation is $36

I had this same intention. I called Wirefly and they do NOT let you use another line's upgrade for your own (idk why thats what he said). You would have to swap the upgradeable line with yours like others have said. Part of the reason is because their policy is to activate it themselves (I asked them if they could hold off on the activation, the guy said no) so its running by the time it gets in your hands

This doesn't entirely make sense. If you're upgrading, that would mean your existing device stops functioning when they activate the new one. This is obviously not acceptable. I'm quite confident you actually have to call in and activate it once you receive the device. THEN your old device stops functioning. Now if you're buying a new line of service then it may arrive activated (though past purchases from amazon for tmobile did require activation AFTER receipt of device).
ymmv.
Wirefly has a ad on its front Page saying free activation wheb adding a line or doing a new activation.
Food for thought to make it a even better deal...

I just wanted to post this for all of you considering getting a new phone on AT&T, such as the One, S4, Blackberry, etc. According to what I have read, it looks like AT&T is starting a promotion tomorrow that will give an instant $100 or more credit toward a new phone of your choice when you trade in your old working smart phone, ( 3 years old or less). This may help in the decision making process for many people.

well i already traded in a phone directly through HTC for $100 and its gonna be for a visa prepaid card. plus you have to do this in store and they dont have the 64GB version available at stores. i guess its a good deal for those that missed the cutoff for the HTC deal though.

I'd rather go on swappa or any number of other sites and sell my old kit for a lot more than $100 unless it's an old phone. Just about any decent, present day smartphone is worth more than $100. They're just catering to those who either don't know there options or don't want to deal with trying to sell on their own.

Good luck to everyone getting it this morning! If you're also using the One Up program then be prepared to wait. They said no one else had been able to do it yet. I was thrilled that they were for me. I was willing to wait all day if I had to though! Lol

Note 3 versus Galaxy Mega
Hi, I'm thorn between the Note 3 and the Mega. I know the Note 3 has a faster processor, more memory, ram and better screen resolution. currently I have the Note 2. I need the biggest screen I can get. don't use the Spen too much so no need of it. Anyone have tested the Mega?

Price is $299.99 for an upgrade, and they don't charge tax to most states (including IL), plus my Chase Freedom card is offering 5% cashback from Amazon purchases this quarter... so my bottom line is $285... pretty good, I'd say.

Just a heads up to anyone considering moving from the HTC One to this phone should do it. What options did you pick, did you have to call them to have them switch it back,

I just ordered it through Amazon online. I chose a random plan and called Sprint to activate it and keep my same plan before turning it on. Worked like a champ on this phone and my previous phone two years ago.

Ok... I was eligible for an upgrade so I went to Amazon and picked the Note 3 for Sprint. Sero obviously isn't a plan Amazon offers, so I chose one of the plans they do offer and ordered the phone. The phone showed up the next day. Before turning it on, I called Sprint and said I bought a new phone and want to activate it, but stay on the same plan. They said no problem and activated it. Done.
Two years ago when I was eligible for an upgrade that was the method Amazon told me to use if I wanted a plan they didn't offer. Just in case it didn't work, I didn't turn on the phone until I had confirmation from Sprint it would work.

Note 3 vs HTC One Max?
I picked up my Note 3 on 10/5 and have 14 days to return. I'm thinking about checking out the HTC One Max but the non-removable battery may be a deal breaker for me.
Note 3:
My Cons:
Call quality is so bad
I rarely use the SPen (only to show off) so it's useless
hardware power button moves around alot (super minor)
WatchON and My Magazines sometimes pops up with it not responding (I don't use them)
My Pros:
Screensize/resolution is AMAZING (I came from an S2 Lol)
Battery life: WOW. I stream Pandora all day, utube, txt/emails, and I can still get about 24 hr usage with my HEAVY use.
SD Card slot
Removable battery: Awesome for traveling
Charging: WOW. charges from 0-100 in about 2 hours and 30m
HTC One Max(rumored specs) :
My Cons:
Battery: Non-removable battery???? May be a deal breaker for me.
Size: It was looking to be 5.9 view-able but now they think it will be the same 5.7 as our note 3? The phys size looks like it might be half an inch or so bigger then the Note 3. Will be disappointed if the view-able screen is 5.7 instead of 5.9.
My Pros:
If screen-size will be 5.9, this will put me one step closer on making me want to switch.
Similar battery life as the note 3
SPEAKERS!!! I'm a media person, and stereo/front speakers might push me over the top to switch.
Just minor things that I've though about. Please let me know of your thoughts!
10/18 will be the last day I will be able to undo my note 3 purchase with no penalties (besides the $35 restocking fee). I think the HTC One Max will come out on 10/15 as rumored so I'll be trying it in store to get a better feel of which phone suits me best.
How were you able to retain your sero?

Once he physically got the phone, he called and just activated the phone on his current plan, which is a SERO.
WTF is a sero

According to @tmonews , the code FALLFUN30 works on tmobile's website for 30% off of the Galaxy Gear, leaving it $209.99 before tax(there is free shipping)! It expires October , so be fast.
http://www.t-mobile.com/accessories.device-samsung-galaxy-note-3.html
Edit: There is also the FALLFUN25 code for 25% off, but I'm not sure if it works on anything that the other code doesn't, so it is pointless imo for now.
Edit 2: Well, it doesn't seem like it'll work anymore. Atleast quite a few of us managed to save $90 off of the gear. Congrats to you all!

Wouldn't 30% off make it $175?
EDIT: I thought they where originally $250, damn they are expensive! Coupon definitely works though.

Thanks for this code bro, but I think it may no longer work since tmobile check out will accept the code then pop out an error saying that it no longer works. It could be a computer error since I was actually able to get one for $159.67 and so far I cannot figure out how I got that price but the online store will not allow me to make another purchase.
Worked for me earlier this evening on their website as well as my BestBuy price matched it and let me pick whatever color I wanted.

Yep I bought one from best buy this last Saturday and plan to go in during lunch to get it price matched. Thanks for saving me $100!
Just picked up a mocha colored one at BB. They matched the Tmobile online price. All I showed was a print screen of the watch on the basket with the discount showing.

Anyone still have a saved copy of your cart from T-Mobile? I had it on my iPad mini then it reloaded the page and the promo code no longer works on any color. If you have a copy please post or pm me with one. I was going to try a price match at my local best buy. Thanks!
I just got them to price match at BB and since I was there I bought a second one at that price as well. The guy tried to get out of price matching at first saying he couldn't get their web page to show the price due to them being out of stock so I asked him if he had ever heard of these new things called phones and that if he liked I could show him how to use one so he could call T-mobile to verify the coupon was active and valid. He looked a little sheepish and made the call and confirmed the discount. Used the saved money to buy a Bose Soundlink Mini while I was there!

Sorry but, just tried and would not take the coupon to print and email to you. Looks like FALLFUN30 may not be valid anymore.

Cant get the code to work either. I guess its dead unless some one can post a screen shot. I would actually like to get one.

Thanks! I did the same thing. Got the last mocha at my BB.
EDIT: Wow, I guess I got lucky. The code worked for a couple hours ago and now it's says order doesn't qualify for promotion.

Do you have a screenshot or PDF saved copy of your cart? Somebody had to have saved this somewhere...if I would have been on my HTC One or android tablet I could have made a instant screenshot and saved myself all the trouble. As of now all I have is the cart contents text that this iPad mini I'm on copied from the website. Dumb apple product cost me $100 savings.
