hello guys i recently updated from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 in samsung galaxy s2 indian firmware through odin , but after the update
i am getting this on my home screen
HW: M25.17
PDA: I9100XWLPY
PHONE: I9100XXLQ6
CSC: I9100NEELP6
RF Cal. Date: 2011.9.24
SMD, PBA: N
CAMERA: N/A
TSP: 0X16
TSK: 0X4
UniqueNumber: N
secondly when i click on power button , instead of confirming whether to switch off or not ! the phone just turns off and am not getting any option to restart , mobile data enable option or silent mode option with power button ,
please help , i need the stable version of indian android 4.0.4 for samsung galaxy s2
That is what is known as Factory Mode ON, mate. A simple search for similar issues would have shown you many people who got this problem.

Also read about 'eMMC Brickbug' issue on 4.0.4.
Check it with the 'Got Brickbug?' app on XDA.

Hi there,please excuse my ignorance but is there any difference between the GT-19100 and the 19100 variant og the galaxy s2?Im in the uk and have the GT-19100 model.I have seen so many articles about installing jellybean via odin but unsure if i can use firmware for the 19100 on my GT-19100.

It's the same phone I.E GTI9100/I9100 = Samsung Galaxy S2 (often referred to as 'international' variant).

since kies doenst support firmware updates to this phone
im currently using version 2.3.6 and i just want an update to 4.1.2 and change it to international version

I guess This is not important that your phone is which.
I have a m250s but I could now this by dissasemly my phone.its written M250s on its frame
But I am using last europe rom 4.1.2 and on this rom, sensors are not working properly Then I did on that topic

i want to know from which region it belongs.
and i want to update it to ICS 4.0.4 samsung official by using KIES but KIES Shows your current firmware does not support software upgrading via kies.

Can anyone help me or explain to me, if my SC-02C software is the latest or not? And what would I do if the software is not the latest? I got my Samsung Galaxy S2 "Model Number SC-02C" from Japan my relative gave it to me as a present but I'm from the Philippines. Can some help me or give any tips, advises or how to update this?
