i am having a problem flashing the negalite rom whenever i flash it i am getting distortion whenever i am in a call. so i have to flash back t my smooth criminal rom i was reading on the negalite thread about having to revert back to sense 4.0 but im on sense 3.6 and i dont know how to change just the sense version and not the rom i couldnt find a way to install negalite with sense 4.0 does anyone have any ideas or a way to help
The Sense version is tied to the ROM, so you have to change ROMs to change Sense versions.

What is the latest update for the sprint 3d? I need to flash a stock rom so i can find out if the problems with my phone are rom based, or this thing is actually jacked up.
The last update was 2.17.651.5. The stock RUU is located here thanks to Football.

from my downgraded 3EVO
The screen's touch response is jacked up, and my speakers are all wonky. It does it on every 3d rom that isn't stock. Not on the ICS roms though.
I can't figure it out. I can flash any rom from that stock rom thread and its fine. Any other sense or non sense gb rom it jacks up.

What radios and software are you ? You on the latest?
Alright so I rooted my HTC Evo 3D using the HTC dev way... Flashed the cwm recovery and then I made the mistake of not backing everything up because of the frustrating htc dev rooting process ... I flashed super user and then a new ROM as well as GAPPS then rebooted.... and then got stuck in a boot loop -_- I have no back up's available -_- I am just trying to get a stock android 4.1.1 or greater ROM on to my HTC evo 3d Any help
If you took the ICS update, you cannot try any of the 4.1 or 4.2 roms.
They require an older version of hboot and the only way for you to boot 4.1/4.2 ROMs is to get S-OFF then flash an older version of bootloader.
But for now you can download and flash any sense 3.6 ROM (if you took ICS update). If you had gingerbread and 4.1 ROM is not working, flash the boot.img via fastboot.

You can also flash one of the few sense 4+ roms with your hboot.

I think you mean sense 4 or the 4.1 which are ics.
there is only one sense 4+ rom.
EDIT : I see you edited it yourself.
Does anyone have any recommendations about which roms to use? Something that allows max customization overclocked cpu and all that good stuff. I'm currently running stock with s-off rooted hboot 1.58
Probably dirty unicorns or wild for the night....

I think you need hboot lower than 1.5 though, so do some research, backups and flash away

Downgrade your HBOOT to 1.49.xxxx and try Jelly Bean based Roms. It's another experience! I use unofficial CM10.1 Rom by johnnyslt - RECOMMENDED!
With that hboot you can run ICS roms with sense 3.6 or sense 4. For JB roms I use jbear 1.5. CM 10.1 has been most stable for me. Just make sure it's a CDMA ROM judging by your hboot. If you want/need Sprint vvm, stay with ICS as it is touch and go on JB.

Evo 3d is the phone with unique feature i.e. 3D. Then why to use roms without 3d?
I recommend Mwakious 3D rom with working 3d. Also, it has tweaks.

Okay so I've had the issue with sms on non sense 5 based roms before . I took the its to give it a shot and see if the new radio/firmware base would help. I'm still s-off, unlocked, supercid and have twrp. If I try and install any custom Rom it'll start then crash and say failed to write metadata. Is that due to it being the 4.4.2 firmware? And should I go back to 4.2.2 and try the New radio to see if sms works? Just curious cause I'd like to keep the 4.4.2 base if possible just wondering if anyone has had roms work

That error is due to using an old recovery that is not compatible with kitkat based rom installer scripts.
Update your recovery...
Okay I'm using the newest twrp beta right now.
So never mind. I must have not payed any attention when I reflashed recovery I put 2.6 not 2.7. Thank you though

Haha of course not. Lol I wish we had a way to get it to work
Does anyone have an idea. I'd love to run viper 3.5 it ran amazing and save with the nusense roms. But no sms I can't do

No. If you currently have that issue (like I do) updating to 4.09 does not fix it. At least for the Sense 6 rom I tested after updating. I haven't tested any of the custom 4.4.2 Sense 5.5 roms yet.

I'm running InsertCoin at the moment but I need it to be able to run Sunshine. A modified stock rom won't work so I really need the original one.

Didn't work, got a very exeptional error and I was told I needed a rom which was even closer to (or completely) stock
