Hi there,
I have a big problem with my new Samsung 32gb class 10 micro sd card. When I try to install app from sd card it says - application not installed. And it repeats almost everytime I try to install app from my sd card. What I also noticed that on some apps I moved from my mac to sd card the icon is missing and it says - There is a problem parsing the package.
I had never got these problems on my old SanDisk 2 class 8gb micro sd card. All the same apps I could install from my old card, now I can't install from the new card. I tried formatting this card, but no luck.
Please help to solve this!
Thanks for replies :good:

Try format your sd card?
Problem parsing the package is the compatibility issue mostly..
Like try installing nova launcher apk on gb. U ll get that error problem parsing the package.
And jst delete all apks and re download all apks and try installing. See what error you get?
Must be the apks got corrupt.

Hi Everyone,
I have recently purchased a secondhand HTC Legend,
and a new Kingston 16GB Class 4 Micro SDHC Card.
Android 2.2 Froyo is Installed
(Blayo's Froyo Rom)
(I have a 256MB MicroSD & 4GB Micro SDHC Card that I have tested and they work fine.)
When I write to the SD Card, such as take a picture or download an app from the market, the phone says "SD Card Unexpectedly Removed".
I have tried:
Reformatting the SD Card on Windows and on the Phone via Clockworkmod recovery. (My Phone is Rooted)
Scanning the SD Card via Windows Error Checking
chkdsk via command prompt
Scanning for errors via Drive Restore Pro
Buying a new Sandisk 16GB Class 4 Micro SDHC Card - Same Error.
Is there anything else that I can do?
Any advice that can be given is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
dont be a fool it seems that its the rom's fault it might not support the file system of your sd cards.Dont keep buying new ones....just go back to your stock rom
Thank you for your reply.
I flashed the stock Froyo rom, but the problem still persisted.
After some more research I found that downgrading to 2.1 can resolve the issue, so I tried it and it did.
My only question now: Is there anyway to make this work in the stock Froyo rom?
Hi Friends,
I am using Karbonn A9 (Without Rooted) & micro SD Card - 4GB class 4. I can transfer the files fine b/w PC & Card using USB cable. But, now-a-days, the files copied to sd card doesn't appear after usb unplugged from PC.
Also, the files deleted from PC, appears on SD Card, when removed. Please help me.
Have you tried to format your sd card?
I have have never had problems with class 4 sd cards until recently. I have had to buy all class 10 sd card for all of my devices that I have upgraded to ICS/JB. I don't know why, but I started getting all sort of problems flashing, saving, FC's. It was really weird. I didn't realize that it was the sd card until I switched the sd card in my tablet (with was already a class 10) to my phone. With worked fine in my phone, then my tablet started acting crazy.
this happen because u already click fix permission.. don't ever choose fix permission in cwm.. u might getting fc..

hi
yesterday i wanted to copy a new rom to my sd card for installing but at first it goes so fast but then it stops copying. i left it for half an hour but it didn't copy the rom. i used my laptop too but same result it sticks. on my pc i both tested with and with out ultra copier. any ideas how to fix it?
Transcend 8 GB Class 4 micro SD
P.S. i tried formatting my sd but i got same result as before.
Questions go to the Q&A, not General section.
To me, it seems like SD issue, because it happens on both computers.
Try These

Possible Solutions
1.try useing card reader
2. if card reader successfully copies then change rom . if problem continues change memory card.

Hi
I've noticed about two days that when i delete a file or folder on my sd card, after a reboot, the file or folder does appear again. I've also tried creating a folder or a file, but after a reboot, they are gone.
the sd card is a scandisk 32gb sdhc, I'm running RR 4.0.7 rom, kernel is Dorimanx 9.40.
things I've tried:
format the card through recovery, remove the card and insert in a card reader and format no success.
through recovery, it says format successful but after a restart, the files and folders are still there.
on windows, using disk manager, formating unsuccessful and using sd formatter, I'm advice to switch off the write protection. switched on and off on card reader just to see but same message.
any suggestion would be appreciated.
ps: also used linux live cd, boot, tried to format from there but no success.
Looks like its an issue with the SD card mate. Try another card and see first.

I just bought a Z2 2 weeks ago, updated with the latest Lollipop update. And I found our that im having issue with moving data to my SD card. It was successful in moving data however when I tried to use them it seems that it was corrupted like apps - I cant open it, music - not able to play and pictures - cant show.
Ive rooted my phone already and tried sdfix however it seems its not working. How can I store/use my sd card. Btw I have a 64gb sd card. any recommendation to fix it.
and additional everytime I rebooted my Z2 my apps installed on sd card gets corrupted.
need help please..
That's odd.. I've never experienced that. Maybe you have a defective SD card? Have you tried copying files to and from your computer with the SD card?
