Greetings to those whom can offer assistance. I have recenlty got a HTC Radar (Jan 2013) especially after hearing all the update buzz. After looking into the forums pretty deep, I am a little confused as to where my phone stands now. Being initially a fan of Windows phones, I am just now understanding the differences from 6.5 - 7.5(7.8). Previous phone offered so much freedom ... all in all please help me understand today's terms before further confusion set's in.
1) How do I know if my phone is unlocked? (carrier,Hard-s*L, Interop ..etc )
2) What is a difference between filer deployer and cab sender ?
3) What other file oper should I have(New windows 7 PC) for dLL..if needed at all?
All I really am hoping is to try a App found on another forum.............
I would Love to know which email account is alarming or even my sms alerts ( they all sound the same on my phone )
MyRingtone2SMS - requirements
MyRingtone2SMS uses Heathcliff74's WP7 Root Tools SDK, so your device has to have:
- custom rom
OR
- installed WP7 Root Tools and has to be interop unlocked
to add root access for MyRingtone2SMS

Hello I have HTC Mozart T869 with Windows Phone 7.5 (mango) onboard and sometime I’m having performance problem - when phone is not used and I’m trying to answer the phone or rewind my audiobook telephone is not responding for my actions for a while. I have a question
1. Can anyone have this problem and can I fix this by Applying new ROM? – My college ha the same problem with this phone but another friends don't have this problem on others windows phone hardware
2. How can I find out my current ROM version? – I can see OS version (7.10.7720.68), Firmware revision (2250.21.40600.401), Hardware revision (0004) but I don’t see ROM version.
I gather quite a few people with Mozart's are experiencing similar problems since updating to Mango.
I and one of my daughter's Mozarts have this problem too, but my wife's Mozart does not. Clearly HTC need to address this asap - the phone has become frustratingly annoying in general use, and the effect is to detract significantly from the positive benefits Mango was supposed to bring.
I have read elsewhere that there is a new HTC update in the pipeline, to change the firmware to 2250.21.50001.707.
Here's hoping that this will address the problem.
KJ
Hello m8, you don't flash a rom right ? you just update your phone over Zune ?
Same Problem dont know any solution i update my mozart last oct 3 using force update.
Yes... I have regular updates only and I'm considering custom rom
the same problem. i have official mango not forced.
I have 2250.21.40600.401.
but look thew wrote that there will be change from 2250.21.40600.707 to 2250.21.50001.707 and we have .401 at the end. I don't know if it is important or not but my zune says that my phone is up to date.
Hi
Hi,

greetings Heiko
Ive got the exact same issue with the same firmware and hardware revision numbers as you dominik. It also only started after upgrading to mango
Hello for all
I am a simple user wph7. After the loss of my HD2, I have not pondered long and I bought a TITAN
Concerns with current phones 2nd generation, that the transition to UNLOCK is really hard, even for programmers. (otherwise, you have the option at $ 100 for an account MS DEV, and not HTC INTEROP-UNLOCK or ROOT)
So, up to here, we're all in the impossibility to anything without paying.
Luckily, we have few tools at our disposal and a chance, member has a test phone with some differences with those commercially aviable.
1 : we need throw the bootloader version : 1.3.160015.3 (130143)
2 : The OS is a MOJOBLD (a pre-nodo version for MOZART with possibility update), we cant throw here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1456504 the last update for this rom by HTC, so, now i searh the same in 7008 or last to begin cook.
3 : Radio software version : 16.20.01.18_16.19.02.22U
Why this? because the TITAN TEST DEVICE, update only the OS and not the driver or bootloader by zune.
When we open the last rom form HTC to TITAN, we can view:
1)0x200-spl.nb
2)0x300-radio.nb
3)0x380-radiocut.nb
4)0x400-os.nb
5)0x831-unknow.nb
6)0x930-unknow.nb
when we use the [WP7 KITCHEN] OS Builder V1.3.199 FULL (09.12.2011)http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330850 and compare with a mozart rom, 3 of 6 CID are the same.
The structure of rom are same, we need modify the drivers in os.
look and see, if any search or thorw post here bootloader or radio
Thanks
I'm continue to searh

Try to use a full build number rather than something that generic. That may yield a bit more information.

i have stude the radio rom, with a chance, that's it's a version 1, and we win
Good News
Been watching this thread from the start
Wishing you luck

Hi all.
I have a mozart on Orange UK and now want to debrand it. I have Read many of the great guides on the forum and i am still a little confused.
My Mozart is
OS 7.10.7740.16
Firmware revision number 2250.21.40600.061
Hardware Revision Number 0004
radio software version 5.69.09.05a_22.50.50.21U
Radio Hardware version A.102.0.D4
Bootloader version 4.6.225.0(129193)
I am just wondering if the two links pasted in this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002391 are okay to debrand my mozart even though it is already on mango.
EDIT: reason for debranding is i want internet sharing.
Any Help is greatly thanked
300+ visits and not one reply?
Does anybody know?
Hi Case11,
Did you ever get anywhere on your quest to de-brand your HTC Mozart to enable internet sharing. I too am in the same situation as you. I can't believe Orange UK are so mean with internet sharing as they don't want it to affect their dongle side of the business. I mean we do pay for our allowance through our contracts after all. I've updated to the latest Mango version.
Cheers
Just bought second hand HTC Radar. Sseller sold it, because he couldn't update it, because of error 80180048.
He said he thinks the phone is developer model and it may need a firmware....and goood luck!
I can't find how to crab a screenshot on Windows phone, but there is several additional items in the menus:
TestSuite
zBig Boss Settings
zCompass
zGesture Bester
zSensorView
zSart KITL
Is there any standard (original) firmware for radar? The phone is unlocked like every HTC phone sold here in Finland. Is it wise to contact HTC, if they could help, or can I get trouble of doing that?
edit: I'm completely newbie, but I found this:
Model: HTC Radar C110e
Software : WIndows 7.5
OS Version: 8107.WM7_Main_Ship (mojobld).20111201-2014
Firmware revision number: 1600.2200.10807.401
Hardware revision number: 0002
Bootloader version: 1.8.160015.3(131865)
Chip SOC version: 1.6.0.0

Thanks for the quick reply!
Yeah, I tried Hard reset. I also found that link, when trying to find help with that error number. In that help site there is a warning: DO NOT use the Windows Phone Support Tool if your phone's operating system (OS) version is 7.0.7390.0 or higher.
My phone says it has 7.5.
Do someone know how to recognise if this phone actually is a developer version?
Or maybe it has just a custom firmware?
Is there a way to recognize a custom firmware?
if i were you i would use DFT HSPL and flash a custom rom
DFT HSPL

Many thanks. As I told I'm pretty new with this stuff, but at least thats looks promising.
By the way, I found out my phone is a developer model for sure.
I found a topic in here when doing a search using the OS version (which looks weird).
I found this:
Radar - Strange build - mojobld ?
I see..
So I presume you can skip DFT HSPL and go straight to flashing some ROM whether is stock or not.
Sent from my Radar C110e using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
In that other thread, a person with developer phone had tried to flash the phone with other firmwares without success. I would really like to get advices from the people here, before doing anything stupid.
I think i made a mistake saying that htc phones in finland are unlocked. What i mean is they are not locked (or branded) by carrier (like Vodafone, orange etc).
i think you could easily unlock the bootloader (DFT HSPL) and flash a fresh ROM, but look for other opinions just to be sure
Hi XDA comunnity.
Sorry to be a noob here. I am a .net developer and hope to stay here are make some contributions in future. Please answer some of my basic unlocking questions.
The short story is that I text a lot, about 100 messages per day for past 3-4 months and i happen to have a Lumia 710 (Posting in 800 as there is no dedicated section for 700). The messages have a sentimental value so I need to transfer them to my PC. Any readable format is fine.
First thing that i did was take a WP7 Easy Backup . I was hoping to extract the messages files from the backup itself but coulnt as they are in binary format. Anyways i have a 3 gb backup of all my messages apps and OS in case i mess something up.
Next i tried to install SMSBackup V0.9, Backup & Export SMS. But i guess i need to Devloper unlock the phone for it. I cannot find any tutorials on that. I found some good tutorials here
Downgrade to Qualcomm
Install Custom ROMS - Nokia Lumia 710
but if i install a custom ROM to my phone i think i will lose my old messages (right ?). Or even if I Downgrade to Qualcomm the backup taken by WP7 Easy Backup will be useless(right?) I dont want that
I just need my messages on my PC. Please help me.
Here are the Phone details.
Code:
Model: NOKIA Lumia 710
Software :Windows phone 7.5
Total Storage 1,014 mb
Os version : 7.10.8779.8
Frimware revision Number: 1600.3031.8779.12180
Hardware revision Number: 112.1402.2.1
Radio software version : 1.6.00.30
Radio hardware version : 8255
Bootloader version : 7.33.0.0
Chip SOC version : 0.74.2.1
Is the question too dumb?
Have i not researched properly or posted in the incorrect section ?
Or its just that there is no work around ? :silly:
Please reply anything that you know or can think of
If you flash a new ROM you will definitely lose all the data on your phone, including your text messages. I don't know what happens when you downgrade the bootloader.
