Im a user of htc desire x....CID : htc_038 hboot 1.20.....i had rooted it....bt at now resoterd nandroid backup....stock recovery stook boot.img nd also relocked it again..........i want to update my hboot version.....HOW CAN I UPDATE IT?? plzz helppppp....

Could any one please help me to root my HTC Wildfire 2.2 with Hboot 1.02.0000, I have recently unlocked Bootloader by following steps provided in HTCDEV.com.
I have tried complete steps provided in below link

But i was not successful, later i tried unlocking Bootloader but still struggling to root my phone.
Now i am planning to upgrade HBOOT from 1.02.0000 to 1.08.0099 is this upgrade safe? will i be able to S-off my phone after this upgrade?
Can any one please help me

I want to know how can I update HTC Amaze 4G to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 update.
Currently it's running on Gingerbread 2.4...
The problem is that the update has come to USA however currently I am in South Asia so I think it has not yet come to my current region and I'm afraid it may never come and would be cancelled in future as it's been long enough already.
Even if it may, I just need to somehow update this to ICS as soon as possible as Sense 3.0 sucks like always...
Please let me know if there is any way for me to "properly" update the smartphone to ICS.
Maybe changing the region to US from the settings will make the update available to me ? If it will please help me how to do that as well.. sorry for being a total noob!... (which I am usually not) ^^

You can root your phone and flash cyanogenmod 9 or 10 on your amaze 4G (they both are available )

But when I install ICS rom from 4ext recovery... the error message "installation Aborted"

bro do this via hboot not via 4ext then install rom via 4ext
istall ics ruu through hboot put ics ruu in external sd card and remane him ph85img.zip
