Could someone help me? I faced this problem after I removed Google Play Services, cause I didn't know that it is neccessary for Foursquare. After FS told me this info at the next start of the app, I reinstalled Play Services but FS have never worked anymore... It stops right after the start of the app. I wiped everything (factory reset, cache, dalvik), removed every related data and FS, but none of them helped... (( This was with version 2013.04.02. If I downgrade to the february version, it works again, but if I update to one of the april version, it stops again and again... :'( I would be very grateful if someone could help me, I ran out of ideas. :/

Are you use newest market?
Try old market if yes, the old one is faster.
Wipe market data with titanium backup, and market updater.
Then reboot to recovery, and wipe dalvik, fix permission.
Try it several times, it works for me.

I have been using the RAZR XT910 for over a month now. Lately I've been facing this problem of : 'There is insufficient space on this device', whenever I try installing an application from the market. My phone has over 3.5GBs of installation memory still free. Dowloaded APKs install fine. What could possibly be the problem that is hindering the installation of market applications? Kindly suggest a remedy soon. Thank you developers.!!

I've had this problem before, occurs usually as a cause of com.(appname).ODEX files in the root of your device`s system/app. Lucky Patcher fixes this for you but you need to be rooted
hey mate I have the same problem check my thread if u can find anything that suits you. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1709970
I am still not rooted but I will root when ICS arrives so I haven't tested any of these suggestions yet

Not sure what the problem is but you could always make a backup hard-reset and see if the problem is still there, you can use AppExtractor to restore programs from the CWM backup.
Performed a hard reset. The problem still persists.. What next? Please provide an alternative, guys!! Thank u.

I have the same problem and I am waiting for ICS in hope for fix...
hmmm maybe try
1) Wipe Dalvik cache via CWM + clear market data via the stock App Manager?
2) Uninstall any market updates and perhaps try again?
3) I'll try think of other solutions in meantime..
Try clearing the data for the market app and see if that might help. It's possibly a cache issue.
Have you installed a LOT of apps over the past month or so?
Mobzter : Thank you for the suggestion and thank you to all the members above for their suggestions!!
I have been able to fix the problem, in the meantime...
1)Downgraded to 2.3.5 using SPYDER Fastboot ROM : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1362956
2)Manually upgraded to 2.3.6 (and not via MotoHelper interface) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1534729
3)Rooted : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1492965
No 'Insufficient Storage' problems so far, hoping for the best!
Others can try the above method too!! Can't guarantee for any permanent fixes though, but I think this'll work..

I tried all possible ways of clearing caches and uninstalling updates (market), but nothing helped!! Moreover, I do not have much apps installed (just about 25?). I guess problem might have originated while upgrading to 2.3.6 over the internet...
Look at my post above. I suggested a possible fix for the problem!! Worked for me.
If you have any gameloft games or games in general (like N.O.V.A 3 etc big games) I recommend this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slf.ListglApp&hl=sv
you need to be rooted!
Motorola razr v
I have a Moto RAZR V, running Android 4.0.4. I rooted, and alls good, cept I can't install barely any apps due to "Insufficient" space... A 320KB app won't install, but Amazing Alex HD will
I have 1.4GB free on my 2GB internal storage... and I can't access my 32GB UHS-1 SD card for app storage at all... Anyone care to help?
Oh, and before you say "Wipe the cache" and "Install Lucky Patcher"... I've done the former, the latter won't install, same "Space" issue.
PLEASE HELP!

Won't install. Insufficient space. (75K app )
Is there some way to manually install an app?
Did I mention that my phone WILL NOT work with any form of App2SD? Like, it is literally DISABLED.
EDIT: Fixed the "Insufficient space" issue, but still can't App-2-SD.
How did I fix?
1. Downloaded Link2SD (root)
2. Clicked Menu > Settings
3. Tapped "Install Location" > Automatic
4. Installed APK from Store/Download, no issue anymore.
Happens to me all the time on my nexus 7 tablet, you need to download and run luckypatcher

I've tried different suggestions coming from the Q&A section in this forum. I am not loosing hope that someone out there could be cable to help me with this problem. There are a few people who are experiencing this problem. Some have a different error like "Force Close" error when the application Camera has been started. I tried the different kinds of ROM here in the forum but nothing seem to work on my DS. On the Longhorn, wifi dont work. Maybe someone also can give me a way to restore the ROM, Firmware to its Factory Setting like the way how we got it from the factory. They say ICS can fix many issues like the camera, though I dont see a working ROM in it's build to withstand stable everyday use. I love this phone, I love the ROM's you guys develop. It makes awesome tweaks on the device itself. If only I would know how to encrypt and decrypt apk files and what now, I would give time for this to help other people who are experiencing the same problem like I am experiencing.
Any help, work around would be much appreciated. I would really want the camera of this phone to work.

simply means that he thought that something might have been corrupted and he suggest that you extract the content and replace it with the same...
how bout trying longhorn 2.7?
make sure you do wipe data / wipe cache / wipe dalvik cache and do dell factory reset...
and try using other card for the external sd... sometimes the card itself is the cause of the problem...

I'll try your suggestion right now. I'll try to reformat my SD Card. I am currently downloading the 2.9 Longhorn Version let's see.
Still experiencing the same..
I guess it is a hardware issue, you have to check the camera plug.
How can this be a hardware failure? The phone never fell, nor it got bumped. Its always hand carried.
Anyone who has a better solution other than providing false information on this issue? ANyone who had the same problem and had it fix?
I'm also experiencing the same "cannot connect to camera issue" and still can't find the right solution...

Please raise you issue in the Nexus 7 Q and A thread...
hello!
i got an lg optimus 4x hd which has worked pretty fine along with the ICS 4.0.3.
A few days ago I noticed that suddenly, I were not longer able to install aps from "unknown sources". the box is checked in settings, but there is no way to install external software.
i can tell you which apps are running in background (because i ve read that intelliscreen-app has been reported to cause this error, too):
-settings
-k9-mail
-setcpu
-handcent sms
-taschenlampe
-temp+cpuv2
-business calendar
-lux
-dropbox
-mail
-greenpower premium
-software update (LG)
-google services
-wetter
-swift key 3
and none of them has changed in the last few days, i have deleted every single new app I had installed before.
does anyone know more?
yours, david
Are you rooted? Doing a fresh install with wipe of your ROM should fix it.

okay, i see. i used to do it, too, but in the past everytime I restored my saves from backup-application, it used to reinstall also the bad apps and program errors.
is there a way to do a soft reset, just factory reset without deleting anything important? would it help?

No, your better off if you don't even backup the apps. Doing a fresh install on everything is better.

Hi there,
I'm running cyanogenmod 11 on my s3 and I'm having difficulty updating/installing whatsapp. I had whatsapp installed and was told I needed to update the app otherwise it'd stop working. I didn't update in time and sure enough it stopped working. I tried to update the app to continue using it but it said I had insufficient storage available. I've got plenty of storage space on both my SD (internal) and external cards and I've checked every partition and there's lots of space. The issue does not seem to relate to lack of space.
Since then I've tried everything to get it working, first uninstalling the app and reinstalling, deleting everything manually through root explorer, then wiping the cache and davik cache, odexing all my apps and then removing all the odex files through lucky patcher. Nothings worked. Unfortunately it doesn't let me use lucky patcher troubleshoot which I've heard works. Everytime I press on troubleshoot in lucky patcher it says I need to update busybox and install supersu, which I've done plenty of times to no avail.
Please can anyone help out. I'm fearing that I'm going to have to restore everything. If anyone knows how to get the troubleshoot in lucky patcher working or just fix my whatsapp issue all together that'd be great. Thanks!
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks.
