Beats Audio Profiles from One X??? - HTC Desire X

Is there any chance for activating the Beats Audio-profiles from OneX on our device?
(......like Einstein.frat did for his Nameless-Rom for Desire C......)
I'm rooted and on Stock-Rom.
Thanks for your help!!!!
Edit: 150 views in 24 hours and no reply???? Is the question just stupid or hard to solve????

I'm on a custom ROM and can't even make Beats Audio work properly, all it does is making sound louder, nothing else.

[Q] HTC and Beats audio

so i have been wondering this for a while now. why can only HTC phones run beats audio? my hp pavillion Dv6t has it also but you never see it on any motorola or samsung phones or dell or toshiba computers. anyone know why this is?
Btw i have a MT4g so i have the pleasure of being able to run beats and have eargasams all day long.
Because HTC has a licensing agreement with beats. Beats is garbage anyway..

I strongly disagree. But that still doesn't answer my question. You are posting on a site that is dedicated to, "hacking". That generally implies that we don't follow the rules.....

It can be sorted out..But it depends on the devs if they can actually figure out what needs to be ported over to the phone of choice

HTC Flyer and Beats Audio

Hi from an happy new owner of the amazing HTC Flyer....by now I can notice only a little "issue": the absence of the beats audio equalizer...that I had on my previous HTC Desire HD with RCMix3D ROM.....
Could this little feature be added to the Flyer so I can enjoy fully my new tablet with my beats SoloHD?
I tried and failed. It had been mentioned before. I do not think it is a very simple task.

I shouldn't be so difficult to do....I think....it's only necessary to take the code from the htc audiomanager from a rom that has this add-on and port it to the flyer's audiomanager.......I think that here we have a lot of good devs that can do this...it's only that they need some "motivation" from us.....
read this thread

I read the thread but apart from the files that needs to be edited it doesn't tell me nothing new......yeah someone told at first that it didn't worked in HC but then nothing more.....I still think that if a very good dev( and here we have a lot) will work seriously in this he'll find the solution....they enabled phone calls.......however i think that the biggest problem is HC.....has someone tried on GB( that is the platform the add-on has be designed for)?
I guess I should of linked the post from Lee Droid but he is an experienced Dev. His comments in the thread suggest that it is not as easy as you may think and that by following the instructions in the link you would have the app but that it would not actually do anything. In order to actually get it working is much more involved is my point
I think we should move the discussion to the Dev's thread and see what they say...
Looks like the divorce of Beats from Monster may leave HTC holding a $300 million bag of smelly stuff.

And how is that different than before Beats and Monster decided to split?

[MOD]Beats Audio for all apps

I hadnt seen this posted anywhere here. I found several threads where the OP had pulled this or links just went bad in other forums. From what i can tell, the first guy to make this happen was RockoDev. I dont know if he made this or if someone else did based off his work..just trying to give credit where credit is due.
That said , I have A/Bd this with the stock music app that uses Beats Audio officially...i then had the same song queued up in Play Music where i could multitask and hit play on both players that way i didnt have any pause in audio for my ears to readjust. And in my honest opinion this is the real deal.
I tested on a pair of Beats Studios , Yamaha NS10 monitors, as well as M-Audio BX8A reference monitors. Also tested in my car audio setup which isnt too shabby.
That said .. yeah guys this pretty much is just EQ . BUT , having a rather extensive background in audio engineering , i think there is an added component that doesnt get enough credit.. I believe they use some sort of software compressor that rolls off the highs as the source becomes louder , which helps reduce distortion at louder volumes and keeps that "full" sound even at capacity.
Well thats my two cents ... flash it .. bash it .. whatever
Take care guys .
Sweet. Gonna try it out

thank you sir wil try this out! I like the sound with Beats but I also added some 'custimization' using DSP manager to make it sound even better.
is this compatible for all Rome or is there limitations to this?
sent from my ICS flavored HTC Vigorous Vigor. If I helped please use the "thanks" option!
*SHOULD* be compatible with all roms on all devices running 2.3 and up.
I have tested it on
Rezound, Fascinate , Charge, Galaxy Nexus, OG Droid , and Droid 3 ... seemed to work on all those .

Think it will work on newts one x rom?
Am I to understand that this should work on all media audio, including that from Pandora, Slacker, Winamp, etc?
Yes

Is there no way to turn it on/off?
How do I know it's on?
How do I uninstall it, as I don't think I want Beats on all the time?
So Beats on my streamed music? Interesting.

Wow, if this is legit, this has to be one of the best mods I've seen so far. I'll be flashing it on my Rezound and Droid Charge.

Yeah I have the same question.
I was also wondering...does someone have a version of the DSP Manager that was on CM7 that can be used with our ROMs?

Heres a newer one
It's not working for poweramp on rezrom. Newts one x rom has sense 4 so beats works throughout

No way to unflash unless you re flash the rom. It's always on. no way to turn it off
You don't turn it off or on... It just is
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
Is there any real indication that it is on?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA
Not really... It flashes it to the file system, open the zip and check it out.
Then compare audio with your stock music player that you know uses it.
It doesn't just flash a bunch of useless files I promise .... Unless you find the beats effect useless... Then I guess it is

Sony xLoud on the EVO LTE?

Hi Guys,
Is there anyway to get the Sony xLoud enging going on the EVO LTE? I ask for this, because the speaker output is rather low...
I am on the ViperROM and am coming from the Rezound. The Rezound did have the xLoud via tweaks, but not in EVO.
Any other solution would be appreciated as well, thank you friends!
Many roms have it built in including mine
Thanks Pure Monztah,
I guess mine didn't... Is there anyway to install it as a standalone or are there any other alternatives making the volume louder?
Thanks for your help!

Could make a flashable. My last attempt didn't work for some roms. It's cause some rom devs edit the build.prop and it wouldn't boot after flashing. If you send me the build.prop from your current rom or daily driver I'd gladly cook one up

Does anyone know if the devs will be able to add beats to the custom roms ?

Does anyone know if the devs will be able to add beats to the custom roms ? Or would they not be allowed to use it due to copyright crap ? Unless they make it a flashable zip and just list its for a new htc one not listing m7 or m8 ?

Beats is just an equalizer setting. There are already a bunch of options for that. Beats is a complete marketing gimmick.

What ever it is it makes the old m7 sound really good, and from the sneak video the m7 which has beats sounds way better than the new m8 which does not come with beats since HTC sold off their shares of beats.

Anything Beats is horrible. Just jack up the eq settings until major distortion and you have BEATS!
they still have an eq setting in the m8, just not called beats.
the phone sounds pretty great imo
but beats being an eq setting, i'm sure it can be baked into a rom if desired

I just think the beats sounded really good on my m7 and the m8 from what I have heard does not sound as good. I guess I wont know until I actually get my m8 if freakin best buy ever decides to ship mine.
