Yes, just remove the apk's you don't want to mess with and add the ones you do want to mess with.... just edit the .bat file
Thanks man!

This is awesome!!! Thank you Sir!
Quick question. The only thing I added besides the aosp gallery, htcworldclock, and a Dsp manager I flashed was htcsetup. Now I'm occasionally lose radio and get a SIM card missing in the status bar. Coincidence or screw up? Airplane mode or reboot makes it come right back. Thanks!

it worked okay, but i had the adb bug where you have to re-check usb debugging for adb to work properly.
2 suggestions:
tool should remove folders on the sd card for app and framework after completed
also, should add a check for adb devices, something along the lines of "Is something listed under devices? If yes, continue, if not, uncheck USB Debugging and re-check it"
Somehow I ended up with 287 apps installed after running this and lost 600MB of storage space after running this (I removed the two folders). So much for debloating.

Nothing done in this tool will even remotely touch radios. Might be a bad sim

Samsung really messed up right now, they're trying to replace Google services with their BS! First they removed Google TTS (which I had to manually put back through root). Holding down the menu button brings up Sfinder instead of Google now, they don't let you OTA if you've rooted. Wtf is going on! I'd personally like the option to choose to open Google apps instead of having to use Sfinder and svoice. Is anyone else feeling kind of pissed about this stuff

Agreed. Hopefully one of our debs will come up with a way to re map or hardware keys soon. As for the no otas, could not believe that.

personally why would you want to OTA with root? Chances are you will lose root. They do that for safety, less problems. I remember phones bricking all the time when you did OTA, just do the updates from xda. And personally... I'd never compare samsung to apple. That is just a horrible thing to do man.:silly:

well Id recommend waiting. It might be harder to root again if u go back to stock
Now I'm stock with root and I'm up to date on the latest firmware. It took a while though because of the whole device status blocking an OTA but I got it. Now I'm just gonna wait for more custom roms to release

Another annoying thing is that I can no longer hide useless apps from my app drawer. They all have to be there. I HATE THAT! But I love touchwiz

I have been missing a mod I had on my E4GT phone were if I want to close an app completely or app is frozen, I could just hold the back button for 2 seconds and it killed the app. That mod is very useful if you need to exit out of something really quick without going through a bunch of windows or screens. If anyone is interested it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Wanam Xposed has this and many more features. If you are rooted you'll be able to install it and enable the mod.

Yes I have the Xposed framework installed. I didn't realize there was a module all ready for that. THANKS I will look into it.

Since I haven't used Xposed before, could anyone recommend some modules I should download for the V10?
If you're looking for instructions on how to install Xposed on the T-Mobile V10, check out this thread.
Check out youtube adaway and gravitybox for lolipop. Gravitybox turns stock into a custom rom my phone is two times better and I'm 5 times happier.
so is Exposed framework works with Lollipop now? That was my main reason on sticking onto KK when I was on note 4.
Anyone tried a manual DPI changer to see if they can get the second screen/UI to work with a better DPI?
Yes, systemui force close.

Was messing around with app settings. Found the second screen, but there is no dpi setting, only font. I changed it, now every call I make, it restarts. Changed it back, still restarting. It never changed the font size either...
Sent from my LG-H901 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
You can't change the system dpi - including using App Settings for systemui.apk or Android system. I have even tried to modify the Second screen to 640 but still crashes. If you do modify the settings in App Settings and you get fc and the system locks up where you can't do anything but pull the battery...
Boot into recovery.
Once in TWRP go to Mount and mount the System.
Go to Advance and File Manager
Make sure you are at root of the device then go to
data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.mods.appsettings/shared_prefs/
Delete ModSettings.xml
You device should boot and run normal again.
My main issue is the second screen crashes for phone calls and I think that is an issue with the xposed install.
No, it's not exposed. It wasn't crashing for me until. I messed with app settings. I restored system from twrp and it's good to go, with xposed installed.
Actually I can say that for certain as xposed framework is not installed anymore. You are probably correct.

I'm holding off on xposed until we can get a fix for the second screen contacts widget break and call fc.. I sent a log to @rovo89. Hopefully he has time to look at it.
Yep, xposed breaks it. Grrrrrrrrrr. Have to fix again.

For everyone asking about which versions to use, check out this tutorial I put together.
I rooted successfully today and changed the lcd density in build prop, now I keep getting optimizing apps over and over. Anything I can do to change it back?

Damn. Did you back up before?
Factory reset? I tried changing it via ADB and got FC's on boot, just used ADB to change it back. Could try that while it's optimizing apps and then force a reboot.
I did the same, factory reset, twrp restore. I couldn't get into it with adb unfortunately. Factory reset with buttons hold volume down, power, when lg logo appears release only power button for one second, press again. Let's you reset now.

I booted back in to twrp, and was lucky enough to have made a nand. Man, this phone is sensitive. LOL
It is because of the "2nd" display

I've been looking at some stuff (more focused on getting TWRP 100%) but we might be able to work with something since the 2nd screen has its own LCD and backlight controller
Sent from my LG-H901 using Tapatalk
Like @KAsp3rd said, it's the second screen causing issues (I assume some kind of framework ties into the DPI and that a normal density change isn't really how to do it). If you get to the point where changing back the build.prop won't work, you can push back over a stock system.img and it'll be fine (I had to do it twice, lol).

How did you get it back into TWRP? I did something similar trying to add multi user and stuck at LG boot screen and the volume down/power combo I learned with G4 doesn't seem to work with V10
So I managed to get the constant FC errors when changing my DPI. Any way to fix it. I forgot to do a NAND back up stupid me. I am able to get into TWRP with the volume down+power button but I'm not sure what to do after this. Try manually editing the build.prop via TWRP but now my phone won't even get past the LG logo.

Yeah I already resolved it. I messed it up even more by flashing stock recovery so I could do a factory reset but all is good now thanks.
Just wondering if anyone tried disabling the second screen before changing DPI and if that might solve the fc issues. I would be ok without the second screen in favor of a better DPI. I currently have it turned off at the moment anyway due to fc from xposed on calls.
Cant stand the ui size of this phone atm. I can make it a bit better by using nova but that only goes so far (icons n stuff). Anyways, I have a $50 paypal gift/donation to whoever can find out how to do this.
You can install xposed, install app settings, and change the dpi of your launcher (I've only tried Nova, but I suspect others will work). Only issue is second display fc from xposed, which I shut second screen off when main display is on, no more fc.

does anyone know how can i make the stock dpi on this lg v10 device bigger becuase for some reason everything seems kinda small i wish i can make the battery icon bigger and signal bar as well?
