HTC Sync Manager - AT&T HTC One (M7)

where is the ISO that pops up on my Mac when I plug my phone in located? I'd like to delete it.
Thanks
EDIT:
Found it.
/etc/PCTOOL.iso
bye bye!

Happened to me too the first couple times plugged into a PC. It would load a separate drive which resembled an ISO. Hasnt happened tho in the last few days

I was getting it every time I plugged my phone in.

I can't find this file, any other pointers to help find it so I can stop the darn thing from always popping up?
Thanks!

You need root. Then you use a file manager like root explorer navigate to /etc. Delete the iso

thanks dude, this is a sweet way to sync when im doing stuff around the house
When I tried it, it constantly locked up my machine and don't dare try to touch the app at all while its syncing on your PC. Freeze City.
i had no issues with install or sync, your computer might need a nap
Do you guys know where it saves your files to? I cant find them on my PC anywhere...

Sorry, didn't see the link. I need something that saya "Click here"
Looks so cool!
doesn't look like it has Linux or Mac support.
I have tried Kies Air and Android Manager but they don't work.
My wireless ip that the apps say I should register is 192.168.2.14, but when I do an ipconfig, only 192.168.2.13 shows up. I can't ping 192.168.2.14.
I've tried reinstalling my wireless card drivers and resetting my computer.
Does anyone have a USB-based solution?

wallpaper image deleted yet its still my wallpaper....where is the file?

i'll be blunt:
-I put a bunch of pics on my phone
-made one of them my wallpaper
-decided to delete a bunch of them
-deleted the pic I used for my wallpaper by accident
-I want to find the physical file....but it doesnt exist.
...BUT I can turn my phone completely off and when I turn it back on it still manages to load the deleted image as the wallpaper. If it can still load the image it must be on my phone somewhere...or is it?

It's in /data/data/com.android.settings/files/wallpaper.
You will notice that it doesn't have an extension, so using Root Explorer, copy it to your sdcard, use Rename to place the proper extension (for example: wallpaper.png) and you're ready to go!
Or just use a new wallpaper, simple.

Oh my God... Seriously, what is your problem?
Maybe he wants the exact same wallpaper and has erased it and can't find it again.
I know, it's not common, but -NEWSFLASH- it happens.
And I offered a very thorough advice on that, what exactly did you offer with your post?
You've been helpful a lot around here -don't take this the wrong way-
but you're bitter and ironic most of the time. Well, there's no need for that.
Stick with offering some help and insight.

You're right your sig says it best, I shouldn't even answer to that, it's all my fault, really! Happy New Year!

Thank you, My SD card died at some point and I really wanted to keep the picture that I had taken as my background.

GingerThemed shapewriter

Personally I love shapewriter way more than swype, idk personal preference i guess, and because of that I decided to make my own personal theme. Since then its just been laying around and i haven't really shared it.
So here it is for anyone who wants it.
UPDATE: Well I actually made this update a long time ago now, but better late than never here you go. I'll put up a new screen later.
Hey Funkencool, thanks for the GingerThemed Shapewriter, fantastic looks, much more pleasant to look at than the standard Shapewriter keypad. and agree, I like it much better than Swype
Yo funkbrudda long time no see thanks for da app. And just curious, u still theming? Sure would like to some funky love put on a liberty theme!
Very cool, thanks!
Could someone repost it? Thanks in advance.
Updated OP with update and now it's a good link. This one should be a lot prettier.

Not to sound like an idiot, but what program does my computer need to open this file? It currently will not let me open a .apk file.
If mean to theme it? 7-zip works wonders just right click after installing and there's a specific 7zip menu in there lies your answer
Ok, not sure what I'm doing wrong. Downloaded, opened in Root Explorer, found on the sd card, hit install. I get a green checkmark, but it says "Application not installed."
I've removed the app from my sd card and tried downloading it again 3 times. Each time is the same thing. I even checked my setting to see if the app showed up under language&keyboard (cause of the green check mark i am getting), but still, nothing.
Can someone please tell me why this isn't working for me? Or, am I missing a step?
Alright one sec. I'll check it out. I may have posted the wrong one I'll test it out, Otherwise sounds like you got it.
EDIT: Seems to have been corrupted somehow so I'll reupload a working version shortly. GOT it, should work now

Backup over USB Host OTD

I'm searching and searching Android market for a program that can backup my files from selected directories to my USB flash drive. Has anyone discovered a program that has this functionality?
Yes... its called a PC.....
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
If I can get this to work I won't need a PC anymore. That's where I'm coming from with this.
A file manager seems to be the most obvious idea.
Sounds a bit manual to me. I want to select the directories/files just once and get it to backup those directories/files on demand.
rsync backup for Android
Anyone worked out how to set it up?

I know, I don't know how to use it. That's why I asked. Your reply did not fill in the blanks and just made the string 1 message longer that people now have to read through and take up more time from their day.
Has anyone had any luck configuring rsync?

The password prompt is displayed by the engineer app. It has nothing to do with the contacts or phone app.
Here the xml file for the dial codes in the phone
