Hey guys! I'm new to the forums, although XDAForums has helped me a lot before, thanks for that!
Anyway, I'm looking for developers, specially programmers interested in joining my small team of devs for a new and innovative concept on an android launcher, something very different from what has been done so far.
We have a few artists already, and conceptualists(such as myself), but programmers seem to be the hardest thing to find, and I know exactly why.
At the moment I don't want to show anything in this thread, however, if someone would like to join, I'd share all the details on what we want to achieve.
This would be a free-time project, however, if you're like me then you can put as much time as you want into it, which is appreciated!

Im looking for an app programer for a few questions to answer.

Hey guys! I don't want anyone to see this as fishing for compliments or thanks, so let's kill that idea first.
I was recently nominated and accepted as a Recognized Contributor here on xda, so I just wanted to kinda give you guys a formal and friendly introduction.

I've been an Android geek for nearly two years now, and have absorbed a lot of information in that time. While I may not be able to build my own rom or submit fixes on github, I do retain information very well and try to help out everywhere I can. I just want everyone to know that if you guys ever need help with something or just need a little guidance, feel free to ask me and I'll do the best I can to respond in a timely manner. I know the big world of root and custom roms can be a bit daunting at first, but that's why we help our newer members learn rather than gripe at them.
You guys can either post questions here or PM me, but I do ask that you try and figure it out on your own first. You'll learn a lot more that way. I promise, that's how I learned everything I know.
Devs, this goes for you too. If you need a last minute tester for something, I'm almost always available to help. I'm willing to switch roms on a dime and flash/push files to the phone. I'll be putting my GTalk ID on my profile soon, so you guys can reach me if need be.

same here...good to see some more help for sure. But anyways ive just got one question here for ya and you may or may not be able to help me. ive tried to ask this in the forums and haven't got an answer so here it goes.
My phone gets warm up around the camera area almost immediately it seams like. it starts when i start using data such as scrolling around Facebook or downloading an app, etc...and was just wondering if that's normal or should i get a replacement? $590 bucks is a lot for a phone and i just want it right ya know.
Now the only reason i ask this is cuz my gnex does the same thing but it gets really hot after about 15 to 20 mins of using data.

I want sayd thanks for all developers! They bring on our phone a big innovation, a thing that our phone never can have! I know that create a ROM or even un PORT is very difficult, a thing that as a big and the best people/developers can do this! Some of them need support, because is very difficult, and the people that never create a ROM do stupid asks or be always ask for ETA´s! Because the fantastic developers, our phone is a great phone, a phone more beautiful ,useful and fast! I want too sayd thanks to XDA for create this forum and help many developers to create a ROM, bring a help necessary! A big thanks!

Hello. I'd like to introduce myself. I am BubbaJoe40356 from the AT&T Note 3, Note, and Infuse forums. I have had several people PM me asking for help or information on starting to theme. So I decided to start a learning thread.
WHAT THIS THREAD IS: A place to gather the basics to get you started if you want to learn. A place to ask questions about theming and theming issues. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU? A little background on me. I started learning to theme just over 2 years ago. I released my first theme (A theme chooser theme) as a gift for myself and anyone else on my 50th birthday .. (so you are NOT too old to learn) with the help and guidance of a great friend and fellow "The Family" member ppalbicke who is truly the most patient man ever created lol. I am now on the forever locked AT&T Note 3, so no more Theme Chooser. So I am continually learning to theme TW apks and I keep intergrating other apps into the theme I want to keep building.
IS THIS A STRICK ON TOPIC STUFFY THREAD? Hell no.I want this thread to run a like every "favorite" thread I have been involved in. Light humor is not only permitted.. but encouraged. Trust me ... you will need humor as a stress relief for this stress relieving hobby.

So, i've been researching around the interwebs, watching how tos, learning some code, the good old stuff. I've been experimenting with kik mods recently. I know, I know, why kik mods? I am just trying to find one with full user customization. Sounds silly and stupid but i think it'd be cool. Reason behind this thread is because i am in dire need for help on anything developing wise. I wanted to try it out for myself and what not a better way to break my virgin developing card than with a fully customizable kik! If you are interested in helping me, please leave feel free to reply. I just need someone with any developing experience. Kik relies on Smali language as well as Java and xcl. I will take opinions on something else i should do with kik as well.
Also, I just need help with how to do pretty much anything this mod will require.
