Hi guys, idk if you already know about this new theme engine, I just want to share it. Basically is a theme engine like CM but for stock roms, themes (even CM ones) can be ported to each device, exists some CM themes already ported, I've tested some of them but they just theme status bar in our galaxy s advance, when I asked why this happen, they answered me this:

Good one! But I never learned how to make a CM Theme. And also, if the themes must be ported to each device separately, why use this? It has no difference than the VillainROM Theme Engine that I'm currently working on. The only disadvantage with the VRT is that it's not easy to make uninstallers. Yet, it's possibe. And that I can't use custom resources.arsc with custom ids, dimensions, colors e.t.c.
Maybe someone can try to make an XTheme and share it here. If users like it, I see no reason to not use it. :good:

The advantage I think is that you can change between themes and stock just using the app and one soft reboot. I've just tested themes ported to xperia devices that is why it just theme my status bar (I guess). And I guess porting Cm or other themes could be easier than make a theme from cero. In the original thread there is a little guide how to do that.

there arent any themes until now only one looking weird... so yeah thats why we don't use xtheme engine or we would have been going crazy over this thing

It isn't true if you look in my rom thread there are 6 themes but you can find hundreds themes in google+ xtheme engine community

U can use nightmare rom. Its the rom tat allows it.

you could use xposed framework with wanam module. there you can remove them or recolor them
Edit: or use a flashable theme from themes and apps section

they are meant to work with samsung roms
just look in the description how it works and if they are compatible

You'll need a CM ROM to use that, the clues in the title. Themes can be installed in a few ways and generally what they're for either in the title or the theme thread.

"themes can be installed in a few ways". Launcher themes, Theme Chooser, X-Themes, themed ROMS or themed apks, you'll need to read the threads for how to install each one/way.

I think it is working just on new CM11 theme engine. And on ROMs that has it.
Anyway @op did not provide any information for what ROM is this theme, how to use it...

I think there is alternative for theme chooser engine of cm11.. i have read in one of the threads of s advance about that module by some member... Cant recall the name of the module.. IF U KNOW/ HAVE HEARD ABOUT SAME PLEASE TELL!

I know that there is Xponsed mod called Xtheme engine. But i dont know if it works on Kitkat. And this mod need Xthemes not standard theme hooser themes.

You need to install like a normal apk, that if you have to have modified to Lollipop touchwiz launcher or modified rom that already support the themes.

The theme just change some general apps icons and wallpapers ..
The signal and battery icons are included in the rom Urkel, but also I sign icons.

if you have trouble to install third party themes. try miui theme creator from playstore. load the theme and press on next , next and done. then apply the theme . Go to theme manager and choose it there.

thats very friendly. but there is no need for... the screen has a "spider app" and it dont boot anymore.

Use the miui theme creator from Playstore. And apply the theme. (Load the theme into the creator. Only press next,next and done. Then apply the theme.
And go to theme manager to choose it there
