As ya saying ya razr system version is from Canada (rogers.en.cn) , most probably ya can't flash Asian version fastboot on it unless ya don't erase ya cid .
Motorola had locked the bootloader to downgrade or flashing different region fastboot .
Ya can even use rogers.cn fastboot files in Pakistan without any issues .
Just look out for the appropriate fastboot files and flash in forum , remember once ya upgrade there is no way to go back yo ics.
Hit the thx button if i helped ya in anyways

the only firmwares that will work on that phones are Rogers and LATAM (Latin America) fastboot files. can't use asian, EU, or american (they're not even GSM).
if you simply want to get rid of Rogers stuff, you can:
1. root, install Titanium Backup, remove the bloatware, change the boot animation.
2. flash LATAM generic firmware. find them in RAZR development forums.
just remember, once you go JB, you can't go back to ICS.

yes, only LATAM as far as i know. u can try different ones, like EU or Asia, but u gotta tweak the file abit (stuff about changing CID or something).
XT910's firmwares: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/umts_spyder/list.php
but again, check out RAZR"s development forum (this is RAZR QA forum) for updated list.
find LATAM Retail and they're mostly ICS (if not all). the JB ones are posted in the sticky in the RAZR Dev forum.
guide: google "RAZR xt910 fastboot". super easy. use RSD Lite.
Root on JB: yes, but through Linux only.
LATAM is LATAM. Rogers is Rogers. Fido is Fido. wth is your question supposed to mean? LOL - if you flash your Rogers phone with LATAM, it will be identical as if you buy that phone in, say, Argentina....
there's no "generic". there is a DEV firmware out there, but its untested for XT910 and not recommended. LATAM retail is as generic as you can get.
also, my Rogers JB now has better battery than Rogers ICS or CM10.1. only D-Trail's D-Wiz ICS can beat it. it just takes a while in JB for the phone to recognize your usage.

Hi,
i have Fido Motorola Razr Droid.
i have installed root and Clockwork on it and works fine,
how can i dientify which fastboot file i have to flash to unlock my bootloader? where is the fast boot version marked? under about?
my plan is to get the retail EU version then upgrade to the european ICS.
can anyone advise what is the procedure to take change my phone firmware from Fido to the Retail EN version then upgrade to ICS?
Thanks
1. there is no unlocked bootloaders for the razr... so you cant flash anything to get it -_-
2. i believe w.e u do the EU version doesnt flash on any of the canadian razr because of the signature checks... for now we wait until a custom arctic comes out
i was impatient and flashed the brazilian retail fasboot flash from the ethernity project , it flashed , when i tried to flash the europe retail it did not,
why brazil it accept while not european one?
So as you are telling me there is no way for u s Canadian to get the Retail european version?
the Brazilian retial Flash Worked on Fido Razr Xt910.
Thanks.
according to what ive tried ya... euro doesnt seem to work... the only one we can use is the brazilian... i just installed Arctic rom over that which helps make the phone a lot more stabler
Here is my Experience,
i installed Asia Rom on my Fido and it worked fine and for my languages and in the about screen it has all Asian Rom Stuff,
the way i did it via Clockwork recovery,
someone on the net put the asian Backup recovery ,
i download it and boot it in CWM and Voila i got it working, without using RSD, now if i brick it i know that i have to use RSD Lite and restore brazilian then do whatever i want.
First, i would like to thank those who will help me with my questions.
Second, here are my questions:
1-If i root my Razr XT910 to Stock EU region OR US(Currently having Asia), will i still be able to get updates from google or motorola ?
2-If i root my Razr XT910 to Stock EU or US, will i be able to get the OFFICIAL upgrade to ICS ?
3-Will i still be able to use my SIM CARD (T-Mobile) if i change my ROM from Asia to EU ?
4-Have Anyone did this before ?
5-Is there a chance that i will DESTROY my Razr XT910 if i do this ?
Thank you again ! Dont forget to help ! this is my first ANDROID phone !
I decided to get something different thatn the IPhone.....
EDIT: i am currently using 2.3.6 and the system version is 65.1.40.XT910.PSHAsiaRetail.en.03

I am pretty sure you can't flash a new rom to change device region - if you try it you will probably brick your device - to get updates all you have to do is RSD back to stock, then download the update - same with ICS.
Okay, I have a couple of questions:
First, in order to flash the Brazil ics, I just need to fastboot to Brazil 2.3.6 with rsd lite, then ota to ics?
Second, when the Rogers ROM comes out, can I just flash that over the Brazil one?
Any help would be excellent, i'm just worried I'll need to send it in for warranty and it be voided due to changing from Rogers fw.

I don't know about going back to the rogers firmware someone smarter than me would have to answer that. To get to the Brazilian firmware you flash the brazil 2.3.6 with rsdlite, then root with motofail, then save the root with OTA rootsaver, then flash the OTA update in recovery. It is very easy to do. That said I wouldn't even worry about warranty the odds of them actually covering anything that needs repair under warranty is minimal and you will be without a phone for a month so unless it is Apple and you can change it over the counter I would say cell phone warranties are useless anyway. I just flashed it yesterday and must say that the LATAM ICS is FAR FAR FAR better than the Rogers 2.3.6 that came with the phone
Thanks to the OP for posting this. My Rogers RAZR on Fido is now running the BR ICS 4.04. So smooth!

To flash back to the Rogers ROM, there is a rogers and fido fastboot files available. Keep in mind when running fastboot you will lose your phone data, including Android ID. Overall it is a bit of a pain to run often. Also keep in mind that you can't fastboot files with an older boot version, Ie you can't flash a gingerbread rom over ICS.

This was my main concern, as we don't have ICS in Canada yet as OTA, let alone a fastboot image. I finally decided to go for the LATAM ICS, and I've got to say, I'm really happy.
I'm hoping that either a fastboot for Canadian ICS will show up (either official, or hacked together like the GB one available), so that I can have an official option available in case i need to send my phone in for service.
As a side note, I've had great luck with warranties here. I highly recommend anyone getting a new phone in Canada to get it at Costco... and BUY THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY. I just got my RAZR free, because my 2 1/2 year old SE X10 was simply having a few mild reception issues.
Anyway, enough of a plug, I'm loving the LATAM ICS ROM.
Hi guys,
First of all, I'm not an android tech guru, however I've been searching around on both google and xda developers for some time and haven't been able to find any info on this, and now that ICS is rolling out, I would really love to get this problem fixed.
So here we go:
My phone(XT910) is currently running Android version 2.3.5 and when I go under settings and press System Updates, it says that no update is currently available for my phone. However as far as I can tell it should be able to update to 2.3.6 which has been out for some time. Even after a factory reset, no updates are available. I'm using a Danish carrier called Telia DK.
Here is some information from my system info's panel, hopefully some of might prove useful:
System Version:
651.73.30.XT910.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU
Model number:
XT910
Android version:
2.3.5
Baseband version:
U_03.1C.85P
Weptop version:
WT-2.0.0-113
Kernel version:
[email protected]#1
Build date:
Wed Dec 7 22:22:14 CST 2011
Hopefully one of you guys will be able to help me I would love to able to try out ICS!

hi,
first of all, i don't really know if there's a NonEFIGS 2.3.6 update for EU. But for Danish usage you could flash your phone to the RETAIL version of 2.3.5
you should do this:
root your phone via ZergRush
flash the RETAIL (use the unbranded en.EU) via RSD Lite (protect root before doing this via OTA Rootkeeper from Play Store)
check for updates
there should be some 2.3.6 update available.
After the 2.3.6 update you're free to update to any eu GSM ICS ROM posted in RAZR DEV section
No ICS in DK or the rest of Europe yet. There's a thread in general.

I'm in a similar situation with the phone stuck in NonEFIGS Retail 2.3.5, except I don't live in EU at all
Anyway, I need to do this step too. So you flashed to normal EU retail 2.3.5, update to 2.3.6, then find a EU ICS (which one) and flashed that?

1. Start by installing the fastboot file
SPDREM_U_01.6.7.2-180_SPU-19-TA-11.2_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRICSRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml.zip

Hello!
I had XT910 with ICS 4.0.4 673.94.328.XT910.AsiaRetail.en.03
Flashed successfully with RSD Lite to "O2 UK"
9.8.2O-124_SPUEM-14_S7_USASPDRICS01O2UKE1007.0R_USASPDRJBO2GB_P013_A012_p2b_S1FF_fb.xml.zip
then to "Retail British": 9.8.2O_124_SPUEM_14_S7_USASPDRICS01RUKE1007.0R_USASPDRJBRTGB_P011_b57374ab5a_p2b_S1FF_fb_CFC.xml.zip
This was a mistake, because it has no support for ME Hebrew/Arabic languages.
Since there's still no EMEA JB ROM, I wanted to flash back to Asian or ME ICS. But RSD Lite shows an error from device on the very first steps
I found many claims that the downgrade JB->ICS not possible for XT910 because of locked bootloader. But all of them were talking or explicitly about OTA JB , or didn't mention the way at all.
So two questions - if I used only fastboot ROMs - can I still somehow downgrade to ICS?
and if NOT: which Retail JB ROM has support for ME languages ?
Thanks
The answer is NO. You cannot downgrade. I'm not sure about ME lang support.
