Root for 6.1.1.B.1.54:
- Flash 6.1.B.0.599_Kernel via FlashTool
- Reboot then run Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry
- Flash 6.1.1.B.1.54_Kernel via FlashTool
And now my phone wont boot i just get a flash and a vibration then nothing? please help
Sorry I have xperia U
u flashed Xperia P kernel on Xperia U .. find ur device's kernel and try to flash it..
Just flash FTF (kernel only, well if you want, you can flash whole ftf) via Flashtool. Be sure it's for Xperia U and not anything else. This is just for wrong device, nothing harmful.

when i flashed the ice cream purness rom but i didnt wipe the data and the cache what happend that when i reboot the phone it stays on the sony logo i tried downloading the fastboot and using it but it tells me that my device isnt rooted and i already installed a custom rom !!
please help
To use custom kernels you need to have unkocked bootloader, which in this case is what fastboot is calling root.
first of all forger about pureness and flash a ftf rom (using flashtool)
then unlock ur bootloader (you can find how to in dev section)
flash alliance kernel (look it up in dev section) into the device (flashtool again)
now u can install it as it says in pureness thread by cwm

This means that now you have to disconnect your phone from the usb cable!
Try pc companion or SEUS.
(SEUS is better).
Although flash tool is best.
AND NEXT TIME FOLLOW THE GUIDE
also try with flashtool the latest version and try flashing other stock rom like gingerbread?

Hi,
after reading for a few weeks I decided to unlock the bootloader of my st25i, flash CWM and afterwards CM 9.1 (FXP 149).
1) I successfully unlocked the bootloader
2) I used fastboot to flash boot.img from CM9 ZIP (FXP 149 kumquat)
3) Unfortunately I forgot to copy the ROM zip-file to the flash memory of my phone.
4) At first I was still able to start the phone with ICS stock rom, but no WiFi was working and no SIM was found anymore and no USB-Masstorage nor PC-Companion regognized phone = no possibility to get zip-file with rom on phone
5) I reflashed boot.img via fastboot and now I am stuck in a boot-loop.
6) current status: When starting the phone it hangs at Xperia-logo; before comes the free xperia logo; I can enter fastboot-mode and I can enter CWM; I cannot get into flashmode (green light goes of after a few seconds)
How can I get my phone working again?
Download official ics ftf from development section of ur xperia
Download flashtool
Install flashtool
Go to c/flashtool/drivers
Install drivers for ur xperia
Now switch of ur phone keep it aside
Go to flashtool
Click thunder icon
Select flashmode
Select ftf
Check no final verification
Check exclude ta
Click flash\start
Now it will ask u to connect ur phone in flashmode
Press the volume down button, keep it pressed and connect to usb
U r done wait for flashing
Reinstall fxp149 properly

Thank you, I tried that before without checking the two additions you wrote in the flashtool. Now the flash worked and I could flash gingerbread and go then to CM9.
Thank you!
Hello.
I tried to root my Sony Xperia Sola with Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v9 however whenever i try to restore backup named RootMe phone says - Could not Restore- reconnect external memory and try again. Than phone restarts and says all done, however whn I try to install ClockworkMod Recovery it says that phone is not rooted correctly. How can I fix this?

Problem
I have problems too. Stock ICS Xperia Sola. Trying to root with Bin4ry's bat file. I have tried to make it work using any version but it denies. Ex. : v9 :
I can restore RootMe but after rebbot command line just says that it doesn't have permission to mount.
v31:
RootMe doesn't even exist. Used both special- xperia mode and normal new. Nothing, no popup no backup but phone reboots.
Any help ?
IMHO easiest method for rooting is flashing prerooted kernel.
1. download fastboot
2. find some prerooted kernel in sola development thread and put it into fastboot folder
3. flash kernel
phone should be rooted, many prerooted kernels come with cwm recovery so you don't need to install it separately
Hi guys,
As said by lwd8cmd, flash a kernel custom, they are pre rooted (need bootloader unlocked).
It takes 10 seconds to download and flash.
But if your bootloader is locked you need to :
-flash .10 stck kernel
-root
-reflash .54 stock kernel
When your bootloader is unlocked, the life is more simple
xperia sola root
i want to root my sola which is 4.0.4 and kernel is 6.1.1.b.1.54
give me required software and all the detail...because i dont have done this kind of things ever

Please do like anybody, follow the tuto on xda.
You need to know that you can't APPLY the root script when you run .54 kernel, so:
-flash .10 stck kernel with flashtool
-reboot and root
-flash .54 stock kernel with flashtool and the root stay
Go to the following link to found all what you want

Hello everyone,
My phone: Sony Xperia P. Last night I flasht an recovery with clockworkmod. The recovery finished correctly but when i tried to reboot my device however my phone didn't turn on. Now when i try to turn my device on it shows a red light for a few seconds and then it stops.
So i tried using the flash tool to unbrick my phone. I have installed the right firmware. So when i try to flash it it should work but it doesn't, here is what the program says:
selected Xperia LT22i / 6.2.A.1.100/ Central Europe
Preparing files for flashing
Please connect your device into flashmode.
Device connected in flash mode
opening device for R/W
Start Flashing
Processing loader
Checking header
ending flash session
ERROR-
ERROR - Error flashing. Aborted
Device disconnected
What can i do to make it work? I really want to get my device back
Try flash the stock kernels first.. Maybe you can find it easyly.. After flash the kernels/bootlock then flash the fw again..
ROM: Stock LT22i
Bootloader: Unlocked
Root: Yes
Kernels: Sliding_XP v9.0
Script: Auto
Build Number: 6.2.A.1.100

There is a kernel in the firmware FTF file.
What he can to us extract the kernel.sin from the FTF dile (with 7-zip or another program) and make kernel only FTF with flashtool.
thank you guys for replys, will try to use pc companian, but most likely extract the kernal and run the flashtool again
If device disconnected immediately after connecting in flash mode, that's a driver problem

I got bricked after trying to relock the bl.. Flashed the stock but not the kernels or loader sumthg.. Cant even turn it on.. Flash fresh rom and the file for rwlock bl and the phone booted normally..
ROM: Stock LT22i
Bootloader: Unlocked

Script: Auto
Build Number: 6.2.A.1.100
I tried to flash a new rom, but it caused my M4 Aqua E2303 to fall into bootloop. Of course I can boot it into flashmode, but it reboots itself after 1 minute or so into the bootloader (so bootloop), so I can't flash anything in that time. I really need help.
try to reflash excluding system partition
what version of flashtool are you using?
if flashtool prompt to use a fsc script click yes
once you flash the partial ftf turn off the phone and finally try again to flash the whole ftf
