And they are talking about an app that helps you find which of your favorite apps has a Windows Phone app.

Yes, it helps you switch your android phone with a new WP8 device. It helps you do make the process easy, to get the apps you have now on your android device on your new WP8 device. (maybe also contacts etc. but I'm not sure)
guys. this is just a commercial campaign. Microsoft is releasing an android app that will scan your installed apps and shows you which of them is already on windows, and suggesting substitutes to those who are not there yet.
they are just promoting their windows phones.
Here's the link to an English post about it.. and the Arabic post stated just that (.. Yeah i can read Arabic )
microsoft will do every thing possible to make an android fun a windows fun too
the app which are you talking about does not exist yet, and it will be, i think, just to let you get a the wp8 experience

Switch to Windows Phone app from Microsoft Corporation available at play store
"Just run Switch to Windows Phone on your Android, and this app will check to see if your installed apps are available in the Windows Phone Store." the description at play store
the app function is not for android user to feel the windows phone on their android handheld, but it use for the android user who migrate to windows phone without leaving their favorite apps on the android phone.
this apps simple will check your android phone apps then upload it to windows server, so the windows server can identify the apps and find the similar apps that support for windows phone.
by this app, the android user still can feel the feature of their android apps that was installed.

Hi all, i have been using this app from quite a few days. So i thought i could share. Its useful for the students learning turbo c++. I am sorry if everyone knows this. we can actually run turbo c++ and old pc games in andosbox emulator which is a x86 emulator in our android phone. Its a best dosbox emulator by far. Its same as Dosbox emulator for windows7. Turbo c++ cannot be run in windows 7. Using Dosbox we can run turbo c++ in windows 7 too.

Currently it's still in pre-alpha stage and "not'' fit for daily use.
The ROM has been ported from Galaxy Ace(GT-s5830)(by Jusada) and is a cyanogenMOD 7 based ROM originally made for the HTC Desire by the AEDesign Team of China. The ROM is an exact replica of Apple's iOS with all its visual features.

This is the exact phone I was shipped instead of what I thought I was ordering. No one from the website answers email now and I called Samsung since the site looks just like a Samsung site and they said not their site.
The App Baidu input v2.2 is on all the keyboards and has no uninstall option
SAMSUNG TREND DUO
Model GT-S7562
Android 4.1.9
Baseband version: S7562ZCLI1
Kernel version: 3.0.8-1080019 [email protected]#1
Build IMM761.S7562ZCALI1
It looks smells feels and came in a Samsung box with "GT-S7562 www samsung com/cn" on the bottom edge of the box.
I got a new battery and it charges and works fine (one shipped was DOA). My BB Rogers SIM fires it up and I can make a phone call no problem and my contact list is there.
WiFi works and Browser seems fine except for me the Baidu App walking over it with Chinese.
I found this thread googling the build number and it matches all my specs below. So it would seem to be a Samsung built by SPREADTRUM and is for the Chinese market flogged to west from a rather misleading website. It works fine expect the Baidu stuff walks over the keyboards with Chinese letters and the App store is all in Chinese.
The guts are slightly different then the GT S7562s on youtube and in the manual (no manual came with it) from the web. The SIM cards push in from the battery area rather then the side of the phone, into a white plastic retainer then the metal ones depicted in the videos. Other then that it seems to have all the other pieces the same.
When I stick it into a Windows XP box Windows is looking for SPREADTRUM USB drives. And Kies will not see it on WinXP, WIN7, and Mac OSX and the regular GT-S7562 USB drivers from Samsung do not work. I have enabled Developers Mode and enabled USB Tethering.
Android looks and feels like the real deal except for the Chinese that appears in the APPs that are locked from removal.

Hello,
When I install Android P with ADB sideload on my Nokia 7 Plus, I get an error at the end :
E: Failed to open driver control: No Such file or directory
After reboot, my phone work properly but, I have some issues like :
GPS don't work
Video on twitter and other app won't start
Double tap don't work
Youtube's vidéo won't work sometime
The phone have random reboot
My phone isn't bricked, I just have some issues with some features.
I tried to re-install the image couple times with linux/windows, but still the error, still the issues...
Anyone can help me ?
The Android P update, from what I have read, is only for the Google Pixel at the moment (the official release anyways)

Nope, there is 12 devices, for now, able to have Android P
See : developer [.] android [.] com/preview/devices/

Are you sure that you are installing the update for the correct device? You may have downloaded the update for the Nokia 7 and not the Nokia 7 Plus. If you already have the correct zip just delete the zip and download it again from the Nokia website.

The adb sideload does use it because it says 3.2 is the most stable version of Android SDK to use to download it. It says on the page there will be problems if you dont have version 3.1 or up. Also try uninstalling both Android SDK and anything to do with adb and fastboot and then reinstall Android SDK 3.2.
Let me know if that helps!

I'm on a school laptop right now, can't wait to get home to mess with it (extract the rootfs and try to make firmware mods)
On my chromebook I can use gitpod to get a linux terminal in the cloud
But i need to use the research download tool which is a gui app, not terminal and does not support linux
I will let you know what I find in the firmware
Thanks for your work
I forgot to tell that the device is Itel It9210 with Unisoc T117 and Mocor V OS

Thanks, I will try to reverse engineer the firmware and see how it works
