Archos 80 G9
Hi, I managed to install the CM 10.1 ROM, but I have a few problems with it, nothing big just stuff that annoys me. I'm posting here because I cannot post in the main thread (i'm a junior member).
first of all the "big problem" I cannot turn on the 3G USB Stick, i found something on the main thread but I guess I missed something. What I found was this : "you can enable usb with rfkill and usb power control in sysfs" I ran this command : "echo "1" >/sys/class/rfkill/rfkill0/state" and could not find what to do in sysfs.
and the second problem is that when I make a change in the grid size, nothing happens. In the grid size menu i have it set on 7 rows and 7 columns, but my home screen still displays the default of 5 rows and 6 columns.
Maybe a new kernel build to fix these problems ?
Aside from those two problems everything appears to be OK.
Can anyone help me with these two issues ?
Thank you in advance.

CM10.1
Hello,
I've tryied to install CM10.1 on my Archos 80 G9 using the instruction in the first post of the main thread by Quinny899.
But when i boot, i see the boot animation and nothing else.
The extracted logcat is in attachments.
Now it stuck on "Android is updating..." "Starting apps."
Help me please, i'm a noob.
Ok... Solved with cache and dalvik wipe...
Thanx.

recovery mode problem

Has anyone else had issues booting into recovery mode? I have a 10.1 GT-p7510 running android 3.2 , and i'm trying to root the device. The problem i'm encountering is when i'm booting into recovery mode the screen does appear, however its constantly and quickly moving or flashing. (Like old television sets when the horizontal alignment was out and the picture flashed/scrolled up or down really fast) Does anyone have any ideas/tips?
@i just reflash the original firwmare to do again the root ecc but the problem persist..
Hi i had the same problem and posted a thread like yours a few days ago:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1572815

Seems to be a common trend with the newer tabs.

Wopad i7(cloned tab) mirror screen after update

I have been using this Wopad i7 cloned (rk2918 based) tablet for around a month and suddenly it stopped working. So i downloaded the firmware from topnotchtablets but the touch screen seems to be mirrored and working the opposite sides.
when i select the option in the right, the left one gets selected. when i select the option in the left, the right one gets selected. Its become really annoying for me.
I have installed many rk2918 based firmware for my tab but all the firmwares are having the exact mirror problem.
can anyone suggest be how can i fix this problem?
any help please?
I have the same problem with the Arnova Childpad. There is no setting to calibrate the screen, and also in the Android filesystem I cannot find any files to erase so the tablet is forced to re-calibrate at next system start. Any help would be highly appreciated.

[Q] Allwinner A13 CWM boot & Touchscreen failure

Hello everyone,
Here is my problem of which I hope you can help me out.
I own a Allwinner A13 7 inch tablet, on which I installed the Cyanogen 10 mod (Due to restrictions I cannot place the link to the mod)
The problem is I probably installed the wrong touchscreen driver, so the tablet boots perfectly into the Mod but I can't do anything.
Normally it would be no problem to just put back my backup, but I can't get it to boot into CWM.
In the first place I rebooted into CWM to instal the mod by adding the following command through the "terminal app" before rebooting,
Command: "echo -e 'boot-recovery\0' > /dev/block/nandf; sync"
Now I cannot use the screen so i cant use the terminal.
I also cannot use ADB because USB debugging is standard switched of after flashing a new MOD.
Does anyone know if there is another way to get into CWM??
Thanks a LOT!
Thanks a lot!
I will have a look
Do you by change know where to get a working stock rom? I flashed one which i found using google a couple of times but it only results in a Boot loop (I have no luck at all!).
Thanks!
Update: found a stock version that works. But no my touchscreen is inverted.
Also I probably made another **** up, because I accepted the format option of Livesuit, so now I lost my backup.....

[Q] Wifi driver not loading on V88 OMA rom

Hi all,
I'm not sure this thread goes here, sorry if it doesn't.
I bought a Chuwi V88 tablet one month ago. When i received it, everything was running ok. About a week later, WiFi started to fail, i couldn't click the "no/yes" switch to enable it (in the best case, when i could click it, only "enabling wifi" message appeared indefinitely). I tried to flash OMA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2310818) rom to solve it but anything changed. Now i have time again to try to repair the chuwi, but i don't know how to continue.
My actual status is:
V88 S/N (in the backside): 16G2131100086
ROM: Oma_RK31_Chuwi_V88_JB_4.2.2_windoof_v5.2 (multiwindow version)
Kernel: bob #445
WifiFix installed
Factory wipe done (no changes)
When I connect the tablet to ADB, logcat says:
E/WifiHW(412): Timeout to wait for Wifi interface within 15 seconds.
D/WifiHW(412): wifi_unload_driver
D/WifiHW(412): Check driver status: not loaded
E/WifiStateMachine(412): Failed to load driver!
E/WifiStateMachine(412): DriverFailedState
Could someone helps me to solve the problem? I've read the original thread, but i can't post there by now.
I have the exact same problem, hopefully me posting this here will give it more chance of someone more knowledgeable finding it. I'd ask Oma but I first need 10 posts. 9 to go I suppose...
