MW600 does not work fully

Hi.
In MW600 no work display of song un MT11 (SE C901 work) and what make it work?
Do you use it with the stock music player?
Maybe your local SE support can help you better.
Its a problem with the old Bluetooth driver for Android/Linux.. this was updated in December (Bluez 4.97) and now has that functionality (Actually I think they are up to Bluez 4.99 now ).. but unfortunately Sony don't seem interested to give it to us in a update.
Either install Cyanogen Mod 7 (it has the new Bluez stack included) or wait for the official ICS release from Sony (this should hopefully have the new Bluez stack included.. fingers crossed ) I have been waiting for this for my Xperia phones for 2 years now.. I installed CM7 on my Mini and it works sweet with the MW600.. just dont want to install it on my Neo because I use the HDMI functions all the time and CM7 doesn't support HDMI.
unless someone can port the new Bluetooth stacks to a Stock Rom?? any takers? huh?

i have the same situation too. after googling, i found that it seem GG could not support full bluetooth profile in Android because of license issue. (someone else claim SE talk site)

Crap! Why would sony not include new BT stack in ICS? MW600 works fine with CM7 on my mini.. If only Hdmi worked on CM9 for Xperia

What if you copy the bluetooth files from cm into KA rom for example?
Via Tapatalk 2.0 on ICS
Did somebody know, which files are affected?
A test would be easy, or?
there is no perfect Solution right now
chose?
hehe
i have this Neo and i try to use the rom of Xperia Pro, and i have this MW600. the song titles, numbers or name of the one whos calling is appearing but only time is not... but in arc, neo, ray rom are only the calling numbers.
Nothing doesn't show on MW600 connect to Neo V with Xperia Pro fm.
@kirbygonzalo: Are you sure that it works?
Hello,
My Neo V after update to stock ICS is showing names from phonebook on the MW600 screen instead of number (like it was on Gingerbread).. Nothing changed with song names..

I have recently brought the MW 600 for my Xperia Neo V ; ICS 4.0.4 stock rom and rooted.
The device is working fine with my default music player. and other apps from PLay also support its play/pause/fwd/bckwd buttons
Song title is not displayed in android, but is displayed when played music using windows media player on Win 7 PC ( via bluetooth ) .
When i had mw600 with my x10 mini pro, to see track name i just changed music player. I never solved contacts

to make it louder
If you have European Xperia PLAY (R800i) and Android updated to 2.3.4 in Sound Settings you have to tick the option "xLoud".
The speakers will be much louder because low frequencies will be partially cutted off and mid/high frequencies will be bumped up in volume.

I've found that on certain ROMs the loudspeaker is louder than on others. For example, on the Sony ICS Beta the loudspeaker is quite loud. However on CM9 and ICS++ the loudspeaker is a fair amount quieter.
As mentioned above, it may be because of xLoud being enabled on the original beta and not on the others - But i've not really looked into it.
That being said however, this should really have been posted in the Q&A section.

[Q] How to make in call ringtone volume louder than stock allow?

I'm using Xperia mini ST15i rooted phone on ICS 4.0.4. The ringer volume is too slow is there any hack to make it louder?

I just tried that, it does'nt seem to work for some reason. I have tested about 6 different one's and most do not even install, could it be something to do with dependencies for the fm radio to work?

Help with an amplifier, please

Hi all, today I bought a male-to-male 3.5mm jack and a quarter inch adapter to connect my XU to mi amplifier as a base when I play the guitar. But when I connect the jack, it says "The accessory's microphone and buttons are not available." and, when I start music, it plays through my phone's speaker
I tried connecting my sister's Galaxy Mini 2 and it plays correctly through the amp, an from my tablet too. Can anyone help me figuring this one out?
Thanks in advance

I don't think it's an amplifier problem, because both my tablet and my sister's Galaxy Mini 2 work fine, I think the problem is with my phone, because it says that weird message.. Any idea?
BTW I'm on stock 4.1.2 by DevSwift1..
Are you sure that the jack is fine?

Just connect the comp head phone and see if it works..
Phone : Xperia U
Status : Rooted
Android Version : Jelly Bean 4.1.2
Press Thanks Button If I Helped You..
Had same problem with my sola when I was using a stock based Rom with AC!D sound enhancement, when I went back to cm9 everything worked fine, I can connect my phone 3.5mm jack-3.5mm jack to my bose set and listen to every song with YouTube, hope my neighbours like my music haha
So basically I think depends from the player or audio drivers your using
