Hey, I want to change the theme of the Secsettings.apk into Light (Background white, font black)
My knowledge:
I know how to decompile and compile normal apps.
Apps like Secsettings bringing me some errors.

You can use an existing mod (here) and replace the icons in SystemUI.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi.

Thanks for the advice, I have managed to decompile, edit & recompile a modded apk. There is one problem though, The battery icon seems to default back to the previous icon & returns when i reboot?. I believe there is some sort of fix for this when running ICS???

You need to edit a few xmls, and depending on the font depends on the xml. colors.xml, styles.xml, status_bar.xml, found in the framework.apk and SystemUI.apk

I could, but this is xdadevelopers, where you should have come to learn.
I have change the png file in framework-res to make it look like s5 ..but I have no idea how to change to word colour from black to white..can anyone help me?

hello guys i just started to explor my samsung galaxy s4 files sytem
i used to customize windows os so im newbie in android
anyway i just want to change the yelow color when i pressed the buttons
by only editing the system files directly but i dont know what to edit exactly

You'll have to use apktool and decompile your SystemUI.apk. The pngs you are looking for should be under drawable-xhdpi

do anyone know a way to change the white style to dark one?
I just want make it black, so I modded framework-res.apk.
After flashing the modded framework-res.apk there is still that ugly white style..
I'm on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

settings.apk needs to be edited
and both framework and settings should need drawable/colors.xml modified after being decompiled. then recompile

So all I should do is decompile framework-res.apk and Settings.apk, modify both, recompile and flash them?

But it's still white.
