You need to own a Sony.

He he nice joke. Anyway i saw that widget and app in i9100 forum. So I curious find something for my s3

It's not a joke. It's Sony Proprietary. Maybe you can ask whoever ported it to 9000 to port to 9300, but it does require a developer to port it, none-the-less.

Thanks mate. Ill ask them

[Q] Possibility to port Samsung IME to CM10/AOKP ROM

I am on Sammy JB ROM right now and want to try CM10/AOKP. I am using Samsung IME and I feel it much better than others. However, I didn't find any CM10/AOKP ROM include it.
I found in a post that T9DB and/or CSC is necessary for a Samsung IME. I don't know if it is possible to port Samsung IME to CM10/AOKP ROM. Could anyone tell me what I should do to implement it?
Thanks in advance.
Anyone would help please?

I don't think it would be possible.
You could always try one of the third party keyboards from the market though.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Thanks for your reply. Actually I have tried many IME but the Samsung IME is the best. Just be curious why it is not possible. Is it due to Samsung's framework?

I find the Sony Xperia keyboard to be better.
It is available at the android software section.

^Lol. If you got cm9/cm10 go search Google/Gplay for touchwiz theme if you don't mind changing ROMs go to dev section...
Thanks for being ironic .so is there a jb ROM with gs3 look?I m searching smthing that doesn't FCS.
I am looking for smthing like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1804032 but for gs2.

Well if your searching then you would know that one such ROM is based on cm10(jb) while some are stock ROM based... if you can't tell which is more stable then I would suggest switching to a Nokia

Need some help and recommendations

Hello all, I have finally decided to root my S3. I just have one question though, what app would be good to backup all my settings, pics, apps and everything else? Also what is a good Rom to use that's fast and based on jellybean?
Sent from my SGH-I747M using xda app-developers app
You can use titanium backup. As for the ROM it depends, some prefer stock with custom kernel others prefer asop ROMs. You should browse the forums and decide for yourself. Also next time search and only make a new thread if you can't really find an answer, the moderators may get mad at you.

What's the difference between asop and stock with different kernel? I read some older topics and just go too confused.

read the OP. it explains the different naming schemes of various different ROMs. it also lists all the roms that fall into different categories of aosp, aokp, stock, and others.

actually jjegan is right. due to hardware differences, you need to check out the appropriate forum for your phone. you will turn your phone into an expensive paperweight if you flashed any roms or kernels in this forum.

[Q] why is porting sense harder than for example xperia

Hi,
This question has been bugging me for a while as I am not a developer I just like trying and learning.
Why is it so much harder to port the sense ui/ launcher than for example the xperia.
I love samsung for its hardware and functionality but I miss sense ui from my previous phones.
If anyone could help me understand I would be very greatful.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
I think I found most the problem if im right the launcher is embedded into the framework and is also closed source
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Correct it. It isn't really just a launcher, it is embedded throughout the whole system. It isn't really of an overlay, it is like and inlay, part of everything.
