I got this tablet today: http://www.ployer-tablet.com/ployer-momo11-speed-dual-core-rk3066-1-6ghz-dual-camera-bluetooth-wifi-hdmi-1080p-16gb.html and searched for a relative thread but I didn't found anything. The usual question: is there a way to root? Technical specifications are almost identical to Yuandao N90II, for which I've seen a method here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Yuandao_Window_N90_II#CPU_Details
I think that rooting is relatively simple using the same method and tools (forgot to mention that momo 11 runs on 4.0.4). Can anybody help? Thanks!!!
Momo11 Speed Root
Hey man, I was in the same situation as you. brought the Momo Speed over a month ago, I thought i was buying a pre-rooted tablet but found out it wasn't. I did hours of research, emails to ployer and numerous attempts with different software to root the tablet. After a week I finally found a forum for another similar tablet with software that actually succeeded in rooting my momo. download this (static.opda.com/zhuodashi/ZhuoDaShi-2.2.9-setup.exe) (download time is very slow, but spyware free) . the software is in chinese, but the obvious root button that is in english helps a lot lol . There's instructions some-what on this forum flashmyandroid.com/forum/showthread.php?1183-How-to-root-the-Cube-U30GT&p=11116 . sign up and read if you are having troubles. Enjoy = D
Root succesful!
I was in the same way as you until today. I'm very happy because I do it!
Well my first problem was the USB Drivers, I finally install the correct one with the following program: Adb Driver Installer
It recognise automatically mi device and install the correct drivers!
Then, I only install this chinese program: ZhuoDaShi 2.2.9 and clic in the one word in english "Root".
It should be done! I hope you can root it!
(Sorry I cant post links )
Dear commnuity,
first of all i want to mention, that i used the Search function and already read OVER 350 posts according to this topic in your forum!
But I still have a problem with rooting my Alcatel Onetouch [OT] 995!
The current system is Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich!
I installed the USB drivers and activated the USB Debug Mode! ---> I am not sure if it is installed correctly, but i installed the software from alcatel and it said "Installing Usb Drivers" + I get no errors in the system manager on Win7.
I dont want to install a buggy rom or anything similar! I just want to root the current device!

I already used a other Version from the alcatel thread but this one crashed on #7 WaitingforDevice
Help please... !!!
Hello everyone,
I also have the same problem, i just can not find a simple way to root this device. (Alcatel OT-995 Ultra)
Alcatel released an update for the device from Android 2.3.6 to ICS 4.0.4. The device was root-able on 2.3.6 but on 4.0.4 no one seems to be able to Root it without having to be a member of Alcatel programmers probably.
Is there a High Quality Brain who can figure out what the heck is going on with this Device ???
Thank you !

Mistercheese already shared a solution.
Sorry for bumping this old thread, but I'm in the same situation as the OP.
I've been trying to root my phone for hours now in several different ways and I'm getting very frustrated
I've searched for Mistercheese's post but all I could find was this huge thread.

I have read through some of the pages but couldn't find anything I could use...

Hi,
after a few hours of multiple failures in different attempts to root my Alcatel One Touch 995 ICS 4.0.4-010 05 (the latest available SW update on the phone, on 2014 jan 18th), I finally found something working. Below are the 2 links I found (same procedure):

Hello everybody, I had problems with rooting my phone for a long time as well. But after a while, I just downloaded the poot app, followedthe instructions and then it was rooted! It is the most easiest way to root you phone and you don't even need a computer to do it. Just follow the instructions in the poot app!

Hello Everyone! I am new to these forums, and to tablets in general.
I have spent a few hours looking for a way to root my tablet, which I have buyed 3 weeks ago.
I want to root it because I have tried to install some apps that need rooted device.
I have found a really usefull thread on this forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2216390
This is the only file I need to root my Tablet? https://www.copy.com/s/MWbgEpor6yJa/AMPCHQ1.9beta9.apk
I don't want custom Rom, or anything, only rooting, and a backup.
Could any of you experienced people help me out with a few advices?
By the way this is the one I have found first, and was thinking of trying it, but I can't open the link given to dowload the files needed

The fact's why i make this thread.
1. I want to Root my padfone2 but im not sure about any method so far.
2. Why im not sure?Comes from a fact , and that fact is the devices populartity.I dont see any video tutorials , or any trustable root rewiev about my device. So i think my distrust is legitimate.
Maybe some xda members will call me a noob, yeah.... i am... im new around android devices. This is why im trying to discuss about problem whit other padfone owners abot the rooting methods they trust and tested.
Thanks in advance from all likely contributors
( IM HESITTAING RIGHT NOW BETWEEN 2 METHOD framarooot AND the Unlockroot APPS )
If any one of the two works fine with my device , just tell. ( i know my device is on the support list of framaroot but I have not seen any positive or negative comment from padfone2 owners on the framaroot thread )
THX
thanks very much
I was trying that mathod and got no positive effect.
(my device is a hungaryan tmobile locked android 4.1.1. ) can this affect the method success rate???
Hi All,
I've looked over this board quite a few times and even reviewed a few post regarding rooting a Toshiba Regza AT300 with 4.0 Ice Cream.
With that being said I haven't found a solid working guide or solution for it. Is it even possible? I've already reviewed the hexamob page as well as a few pages on here.
Do I need to access the bootloader do accomplish this? If so, how do I do that?
Does the AT300 go by another name that might lead me down the correct path?
I'm willing to root it using Windows 7 or Ubuntu if needed.
Thanks,
Marc
Anyone have any ideas?
