I was trying to install a theme with ROM Toolbox when the phone froze on me. I tried to reboot it but it wouldn't go past Galaxy S III logo, or I just don't see it as it seems like the phone stays on, but the screen doesn't come on. I was able to boot into ClockworkMod Recovery screen and did a factory reset hoping that would help, but it didn't.
Tried searching the forum looking for an answer, but sadly all I found were few on other devices. Please help a n00b!
Please disregard. seems like I posted in a wrong forum I have L710. Will re-post proper sub-forum. Sorry for the bother.

hey guys, before you say this is a repost ive had a look and was unable to find someone who done the same thing as me...
i have a brand new galaxy s2,
i tried to root it, but some how i stuffed it up and the phone got stuck on the boot screen after the root, i tried to reinstall the kernel but without being able to get into the phone i didnt know which kernel i needed, i DONT have clockworkmod installed so i couldnt boot via that either, so i tried downloading the stock kernel for Telstra my phone provider, i tried installing that, but now instead of being stuck on the screen with the boot logo and a yellow triangle, im stuck on the screen that has a little image of a phone and a computer and an orange triangle between then with a ! in it. any assistance in this would be greatly appreciated
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
EDIT: Sorry guys, just saw the master thread. Will repost this there. x
Hi guys,
Apologies if there's a thread about this already.
I just upgraded my firmware through the settings menu on my Galaxy S2 - everything seemed to go OK, phone rebooted, now it's stuck on the SAMSUNG GALAXY SII GT-I9100 logo on a black screen indefinitely.
Tried so far:
Removing battery for a period of time, then rebooting
Booting into recovery mode and emptying the cache (have not tried factory reset yet)
Allowed to boot for 30 minutes to see if anything would happen, nothing
Can you guys offer any advice before I consider more extreme measures? I've kind of accepted I'm going to have to format the stupid thing now. Should I do a factory reset before trying to flash the firmware using Odin? I'm about to try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457458
To try to fix what I assume is a soft brick issue. Does this seem like a good idea?
Sorry if I sound like a complete n00b. I don't normally get this involved with my phone, but it's kind of forced my hand this time around
Many thanks x
no worring yet
do factory data reset
if that fails flash a stock rom using odin. search intratech thread in orignal development
Hello
I recently tried to install Cryogenmod 10 using Clockwork Mod Recovery, my friend recommended doing it this way. My phone now just boots to the Samsung logo screen and sits with that yellow "!" icon.
I've changed my mind about installing a custom rom and just want to go back to my factory OS. Can you guy's please help me do this?
Thank you so much.
EDIT: Hold the phone...I think I managed to install the new rom.
EDIT: Nope, didn't work. I know you get threads like this all the time and I'm sorry for being just another noob..but I would really appreciate your help.
EDIT: As usual, the noob panicked. I've got it to work.

i did a reboot, but the phone never boot again

it doesn't connect to the PC
So please if there is anyone can help.
and thanx in advance.
Sorry this isn't posted in the GS3 area, I couldn't get that to work.
Last night I rooted my GS3 successfully, I wanted to run cyanogen mod. I installed cyanogen mod directly from the website, I'm sorry I don't know which one I think it was CM11. I was able to get it on my phone and I really liked it! This morning when I turned on my phone and it prompted me to update cyanogen mod, I should've read more into it but I didn't. So I clicked to update, and when the phone went to reboot it got stuck on the screen "Samsung Galaxy SIII" with the blue cyanogen mod dude. I've pulled the batter and SIM card, the phone can boot to download mode and recovery mode so I don't think it's bricked. Thanks! I appreciate the help in advance.
