HELP - Battery "disconnected" & not charging

After rooting my phone and applying a custom rom, I seem to have a problem with my battery.
Whenever i plug in to charge my battery, it doesn't charge.
I've tried both Solarflare and Cognition, but it seems that my battery stopped at 70+% and never goes above 80.
Also, i'm on cognition now and when i plug in my cable, it says - battery disconnected.
I'm not sure what is happening. help please.
I've tried battery calibration app... i've tried deleting batterystats, but nothing seem to work.
Make sure battery connections are clean .
Flash stock rom.
That fails to fix .
Zero custom rom counter with USB jig return phone to service centre .

Just ran into the same problem just now. After tested CM9 then reflashed back to 2.3.6 and got the error "battery disconnected!"
Plug in charger will charge for 1s and then will stop charging and saying the same thing again.
-Solution is:
- wipe battery stats
- Plug the charger into the phone turn it on.
- Once turned on, open up the battery cover and pull the battery out. The phone will be be turned off. Don't take the cable out. Leave it in the slot.
- Put the battery back into the phone and start it up. This should fixed the "Battery Disconnected!" error.
Hope this help others.

Did it, the result - nothing.
The phone just getting really hot and nothing is happened.
Is it dead ?
so, if you can see the green led you can flash your Atrix. Turn RSD first and then plug in your atrix with vol+ button, probably you will be able to run flash process with SBF file
Cant get AT&T RSD files
here you go, google won't hurt you

OK, i downloaded everything.
But i can't get the phone identified by RSD Lite on pc.
The phone just shows green led when it connected to PC and that's it.
Pushing the up\down volume key+power doesn't help....
Atrix is visiable in RSD n your PC?
NO
Buy an external battery charger. Charge battery then try again.
Sent from my Nexus 7 on official CM10
Why ? the phone should power up even without a battery when it connected to charger.
What can i do about this eBay seller that sold this wall charger with ATRIX and Defy in the item description ???
Only a refund?
He broke my atrix and my defy !

[Q] Phone boots, but won't charge (normally)

So, I ran my Razr Maxx down to 0% battery the other day. (I know - don't do that...)
After much reading, I tore the phone apart and was able to charge the battery by connecting the red/black wires from a USB cable directly to the +/- screws on the battery connection.
I can now boot all the way into my ROM, stock or Eclipse (SafeStrap slot 1). The battery status shows 'charging (AC)'. But the % remaining is slowly dropping. It was at 44% when I first booted. It's down to 41% now.
I powered off and let the charging screen come up - it shows 50%, but it's not gaining any charge. Last night, I left it plugged in all night (powered off) and the battery was dead by morning. I think I started with ~ 30% charge that time. So, even though this shows 50% now, I suspect it's still discharging.
I've tried different chargers, including the Motorola charger.
I tried making a factory cable, but that doesn't seem to charge the phone - it appears to just provide power while bypassing the battery.
Any ideas on other things I can try to get this to charge off a normal charger & cable? Thanks!!
I think USB port is broken. Check charging in BMM.

Well, I was able to connect via usb to my laptop and copy files of the internal sd. And the charging indicator shows that it is charging via usb/ac. Of course, it doesn't seem to actually be charging. Would that be possible if the usb port was broken?
Maybe something is wrong. To be 100% sure check it in BMM. Charge it 1hr and boot normally and check bat %

Thanks... I'll give it a try. Quick question - where should I grab BMM from? I want to make sure I have the latest version. (I've always used SafeStrap.) The thread I found for BMM looks like it hasn't been updated in a long time.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2005187
Okay... installed bmm from Google play...
When I first get into bmm, it shows 99% for the battery. After tapping around, it eventually updates and shows 13%. I powered off and waited for the charging screen, which shows 15% now.
I'm not familiar with bmm... is there any place aside from the status bar at the top that shows charging/battery status?
Is there any sort of battery calibration that might help?
Thanks...
Yes for the battery calibration it is in the recovery under wiping it says wipe battery stats. See if that helps

Tried wiping battery stats, and still no luck...
So, right now it appears that:
1) The battery will NOT charge via the usb port, but WILL charge when I apply +5v directly to the battery.
2) The usb port is functional for connecting to a computer and transferring files over a usb cable.
Something that occurred to me today is that, when the phone was at 1%, I plugged it into a friend's charger. She has a Samsung Galaxy S4 - I'm not 100% sure if it was the factory charger, but I think it was. Could the charger somehow have damaged the phone such that it won't charge over the usb port (but somehow leave the usb port functional?)
Could replacing the battery have any chance of success? (Seems unlikely, since it can take a charge directly.)
Is there any other debugging I can do to narrow down the problem? Or is it time to give up? Is the phone likely to be useful to anyone for parts?
Thanks everyone so far for the suggestions...

[Q] Battery died...

I have Motorola Droid Razr XT910
I was flashing rom and it didn't worked so I left the phone in recovery mode while I was looking for a new one and then it turned off since it was with low battery.
And now it won't turn on and I can't charge it.
There's something that I can do?
Like charge it in the company's store or something like that ? Or put in new full battery ?
Just google razr service cable or how to unbrick razr....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ab8ct0YrNrc
even easier with the razr.
you open the back unscrew a bit the battery screws, put red to plus black to minus, tighten the screws, connect adapter/usb to wall/pc
give it 5 mins to charge no more, it can damage battery, then continue with wall charger
to fix your problem buy this and finish your fast boot if you do not like the other ways they said above. http://www.ebay.com/itm/360632413144?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 it is called a Factory Cable not a service cable.

[Q] Cannot boot without charging at all

My razr cannot boot at all without charging.
There's no reaction at all. No Logo, No Bootanimation etc..
If it boots with charging, it just said 'Battery Low'
So, I tried with my factory cable but there's no reaction at all.
How can I charge my razr or fix it?
first; Try another adapter and plug.
may be due to custom rom
