[Q] Is cid: T-MOB010 RUU available? - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

Is the RUU file available for our phones yet? I could've sworn I saw it here on XDA, but I've been searching all night and coming up empty. If anyone can point me in the right direction, or provide it as a link in this thread, I would be greatly appreciative.
Thanks!

I don't think it's out yet. There are nandroids tho.

I tried a different number of methods to deliver the files to Steve but my cwm backup didn't work and simply copying /etc failed.
Unfortunately, I switched to a new, stock hox+ (doa) so I won't unlock it for awhile. Sorry guys.

stock ruu

Hey just wanted everyone to know where they could find the stock RUU for the rezound. I've been searching for a week now and finally found a good link. This is not the global RUU. This is the one that use to be on android police but was taken down when htc started cracking down on everything. Hope this helps someone and hopefully the mods dont take this down but if they do sorry for posting.

I gave you that link in your other thread, if that's what you mean by you "finally found" it.
I read in a post in the Q&A that someone just downloaded the global RYUU from Android Police and I just clicked through to be sure before coming back to report here and at least one of the mirrors is working now. They seem to have re-allowed the downloads once it was made clear that HTC was just concerned about that one site that had their logo and name on it.
Well Damn. That's my mistake lol. I used the zip you have me but I never clicked the other link bc you said it was the global ruu and I already had that one. In any case thanks a lot just a misread on my part

Is this a stock root ruu? I'm looking for a stock root ROM to flash on the rezound for a friend.

It's not rooted but you can use the all in one toolkit to root is fairly simple I will try to find the link for you.

I think this is a good idea. Does it already exist?

Saw this in the international forum and thought we need this as well. Unless we already have it in which case could someone point me in that direction?

Any way you can explain that in a way that someone who knows nothing about rooting and bootloader unlocking and development would be able to understand.

Basically our phone is branded as the att version. With a cid number that does not match the one that the dev edition possesses. The only way we can spoof the cid to match it is to achieve s off.
Your phone comes s on(security flag on),meaning you can't touch lower level things like hboot, radios, and cid numbers.
S off is a difficult process so it will take some time until it's available, and even when it is available its only recommended for advanced users who know what they're doing. It's very easy to brick a device when it's s off

Incorrect, it will restore and run just fine on att. S-off isn't necessary unless doing ruu.

Correct (since the end of July), not to mention we already have a thread for it that has been going for that long, found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44486865
Plus, HTC themselves have it posted on their support page, so no reason to download it from a third-party source.
Here is the support page:
https://support.htc.com/en-us/030-H..._Maintenance_Release_Instructions_|_7.23.2013
Here is HTC's direct download:
http://dl3.htc.com/application/tmo/....20_10.40.1150.04_release_324846_signed_2.exe
Always go to the source when you can! No reason to get others involved.
You can download this from the official HTC website...
This thread already exists here HTC M7 (HTC One) Shipped Roms (RUUs). Please do not start like threads, in the same section. Your thread has been moved to the General section.
