What Kernel,Rom u using?
what r u ur OC settings?
and btw hav u tried different kernels and RoMs?
Important-
Be really carefull when overclocking(as mentioned in many places)
cause ur battery will have more strain.
and because of that u will lose a lot of Ions/cells(science thing )
and that will decrease ur battery life very badly.
My EXPERIENCE
Please Click 'Thanks' If I helped

my kernel version is
3.6.32.9-perf

do this things
install wakelock detector to see which app is causing wakelocks and draining battery
change the governor to smartassh3 if your kernel supports it
in your post it's your kernel version not the name of the kernel

ur clock speeds are fine,
i suggest u try ROMs like Ultimate HD,Revolution ICS ,etc
if uve unlocked bootloader . u can try even more Roms and kernels.
and again, if uve unlocked - try suave kernel , fusion kernel, etc
and ya u should try wakelock
or
just simply see battery usage in settings(if u dint see)
and keep an eye on the governor u select
Please Click 'Thanks' if i helped

You should try following:
1. Changing CPU governor (e.g. switch to ondemand from performance, or to powersave, sometimes those default governors can be buggy, so try alternative like smartass)
2. Remove widgets from homescreen that you don't use, especially weather widget.
3. Turn off sync when you don't need it.
4. Change your brightness. If it is on max set it to half or automatic, you can turn it completely off, but then screen is unusable on daylight (my experience)
5. Turn off wifi or data when you don't use it.
You can also do some tweaking in easier way using Pimp My ROM from Play Store. If that still doesn't help, try different kernel.

i know it but i don't know why some people report that it works
i know battery stats are reset at full charge
but i think manually resetting may help if automatic resetting is not working for some reason
and in the end what's the harm in trying

does it have some kind of side effect when we clock the phone until 1.6 Ghz??
i've flashed this kernel...it is good that the game run smoother with it...
but then i feel like this is like too fast until the animation seems to be a bit weird...
didn't check yet for the battery drain...
i've used the sirkay kernel and it saved me a lot of battery time...

it depends. sometime your phone will start warm bcos your engine running beyond its normal speed. all machine have their own capabilities.
for me, normally will set speed between 1.2ghz to 1.4ghz. but i prefer 1.2ghz, dont wana force it to much
btw, its not my kernel. i added some script into ramdisk and compiled with other(s) kernel. thats all

Best battery friendly combo kernel + rom GB?

As the title says, which is the best combo rom (gingerbread roms only, I don't like ICS!) + kernel is the most battery friendly? (I'm on XM)
Now I'm on CM 7.2 with rage kernel but I' ve thought about flush 6.5
Thanks everybody!
Which phone?
From what I have heard, Spartan and Hybrom seem to be most battery-friendly GB ROMs, but I occured some bugs on Spartan and currently using stock system at all.

The only thing I didn't like about my stock is that battery didn't last long

PS This is my girlfriend's phone, mine is the O1 so I can't understand what ''stock'' means

Untouched ROM.
Tried all ROMS available for Xperia Mini with all possible kernels.
I think the best combination for Batter life is
NeroDroid Rom with X Kernel.
Set these frequencies
Min 134Mhz
Max 1.0 Ghz.
Smartassv2 Governor
I/O Schedulers - deadline
You are already the second who says to me to try nerodroid and x kernel...so...I'm doing it

I use Clean 'n' Tweaked - 4.0.2.A.0.69 - v4.1 with X kernel 2.6.32.59
Don't forget to flash the apropriate x-kernel wlan module AFTER installing the target ROM in CWM.
Standby battery drain is around 1% every 3h without 3G. I use SetCPU to switch CPU frequencies and Governor when the display goes off:
Display on: CPU: 249 - 1017 Governor: smartassV2
Display off: CPU: 134 - 364 Governor: ondemand
This way i have great performace when i operate the Phone and low power consumption when using it as mp3 player.

I'm using Rage 2.8 on Spartan ROM 2.0
134Mhz-1Ghz smartassv2 or brazilianwax
Scheduler is SIO
I've used Xkernel before Rage 2.8 came out, because I felt it was more batt friendly. But with v2.8 I think that Rage is way better. Battery life is great!
Especially with Spartan ROM since it comes with minimal app load, and is tweaked and fast as hell
I never flashed my kernel before with my previous phone (htc desire).
It seems more important for these xperia phones, is this correct? I 'm currently the owner of a Mini Pro.

Battery Drain comes from few factors.
1)You probably use alotsa apps in your X10S
2)Many Apps/Background Services active in Application>Running Services
3)Battery problem
4)Type CPU Governer used
5)X10S is 2.3.4 version, need compatible kernel like KCernel for 2.3.4, some DooMKernel is for 2.3.3GB Stock ROMs
Solution options:
1)try go recovery and click "Wipe battery status (find it somewhere)" then reboot your phone
2) Or reboot your phone and check is there problem remains?
3)About Kernel for X10S, DooMLord or Champ's KCernel shd work ok,
perhaps you change your phone's governor via SetCPU or ROMtoolbox, cos different governors, different battery usage.
Champs kcernel here
Wifi Modules: I try my best to find for ya
If this helps/convinces, pls kindly hit thanks as an appreciation

To Check Battery Health (I tried in 2.3.7 DonutHD, 4.0AOKP, but didn't try in X10S in past)Anyway, try whether is this works and tellme your result
1.Click Phone
2.Dial *#*#4636#*#* and it should direct you to testing. These options should show i guess:
-Phone information
-Battery information
-Usage Statistics
-Wifi Information
3.(Go To Battery information>Battery Health if can) If show ''Good" means ok, works fine.
4. OR you can find Battery Apps to check your battery status.
Wifi modules here find the compatible with KCernel you choose, i got from champ senior ]Hope Helps Cheers

Everyone will give different suggestions... Here's mine
You could try this combo:
Real_ICS v4.1 + Rage kernel
KRsH kernel is also good for battery life.
EDiT: If you play games, of course the battery will drain fast LoL.
Real ICS r5.1 & r5.2
KRsH Kernel v3.0 1,6Ghz version not bootup i saw bootlogo and then black screen
but with Rage kernel working ok
i test it is perfect its work nice with battery economy thanks
