Anyone know if there's any progress or if anyone even cares about avrcp Bluetooth thing? The galaxy s2, s3, note2, idk what else.... When bluetoothing music, head units do not display metadata! I wish to god this gets fixed! Anyone know if there's any headway on it? I don't even know if the CM guys are looking into it.

Hi,
Thinking of getting a i9300 and see that it has AVRCP 1.3 according to Samsung. Can anyone confirm? Does it actually work with something like the MW600 to send track titles?
Burmo
Yes it does and it works excellently!

I have seen a multimedia dock for Galaxy Tab but I'm not sure if it is compatible with the Tab 2 7.0. I want something that holds it and provides HDMI, USB and speaker connections. Anyone have recommendations?

Bump! I'd like to know too. Would ECR-D980BEGSTA work with the Tab2 7.0 GT-P3100?
Edit: Nevermind, got my answer - no it won't.
Same here. I really want hdmi out. I will do some searching and see what I can find.

Not sure if this is a dumb question or not, but I'm wondering if SBeam can be used to transfer files?
I (GN2) was trying to send a pdf to my roommate (GS3) and we thought maybe SBeam would do it, but we could only get pics to transfer from the gallery.
Thanks.

I would like to know this as well. The only way I've seen is to use Wi-Fi Direct, but there was no progress bar so I didn't know of it was working or not.

Bump, I'm guessing it isn't possible since no one relied.

You can't with Sbeam but you can via wifi direct....
You can transfer the Quarter 1 Earnings Report with Wi-fi direct.

Sure looked like SBeam when they did that.

It was S-beam. S-beam uses wifi direct. You can transfer files but only from specific apps (my guess is that it would have to be in Polaris to transfer pdfs since that's the only pdf viewer on stock).

Here is my situation. I have a 2013 Honda Accord that is supposed to notify me when I get a new text and be able to read it to me.
What really happens is that when the car connects to the phone it will see all my texts that I currently have and it will read any of them to me that I want. However, if I receive a text while I am in the car the car will never notify me of that text and will infact not even know that the text has been received by the phone.
Does anyone else notice this with their Note 2. Has anyone found a ROM that may fix this issue? I tried two differen AOSP ROMS (cyano and AOKP) with 4.2.2 and they didn't work period. The car said that the text message feature was not supported. I believe the MAP profile may not be working 100% in 4.2.2. I also flashed an old 4.1.2 ROM from CM and it worked the same way that stock does that I described above.
I'm wondering if this issue is a result of Sammy/Google or is it a problem with the Honda Handsfreelink. It isn't really a big deal but I've researched it a good bit this morning and was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge of this problem.
I'm curious have you tried stock? What about driving mode?

Worth a shot. I honestly don't know much about blue tooth and my car isn't fancy enough to talk to me. so I probably won't be much help. Sorry

I looked through the 5 pages in this section and didn't see anything that would create a better quality audio output from stock.
After leaving the DNA and going back to Samsung my audio streaming quality has noticeably gotten low, I stream for 2-3 hrs a day via Bluetooth and the Bass and overall quality on the S4 compared to the DNA there is a difference giving the DNA a big Plus.
Anyone out there that has got a MOD to load on the S4 to make this audio streaming better, could you be kind to share it?
Thank you
Oh yes pls do. I've been searching for days and haven't seen anything.

closest i got was a beats eq setting for poweramp back in the day..meh, wasn't as good. i love music through my DNA, but the S3/S4 didn't sound nearly as good.
I'm sure once someone get a mod going it will be good. Beats is overrated

I went from the S3 to the DNA and now back to the S4... the overall sound from the DNA was better and louder even with beats off. When I was flashing on my S3, devs were working in acid audio and that was pretty good. I'm sure you will see it with time.
I too had the dna.

I searched beats android, on the Internet, and came up with a YouTube video, if you click on the arrow down key for more information there is a link to xda to down load beats to you phone. I down loaded it but have yet to test it.
